Hey, hit Trump with a gag order about mentioning this in his appeal. His appeal might endanger Merchan and his Democrat whore daughter.

Forgive me for asking a possibly stupid question, but I find this confusing.
If we pretend that law is a thing and that the Constitution is a thing (join me in fantasy land), is this Unconstitutional? Isn't it the *prosecution's* job to lay out the predicate, the crimes, the reason for the allegation that the defendant committed the crime, and the evidence supporting that allegation?
Why is the Jury being called upon to determine a predicate at all? If they can't state it simply, the prosecution failed.

If this article is correct in its assessment - and I don't know, I'm not a lawyer and certainly am not aware of these kinds of nuances, SCOTUS decisions, procedural legerdemain, etc. - then it's the prosecutor doing *exactly* that, while saying the Defense is doing so by insisting that the rules be followed.

If they can get enough of the swing states to remove him from the ballot it will work. I mean it will be overturned by scotus on appeal because there is nothing in the constitution that prevents a *felon* from running for President, but we are getting close to the election and the States can just go....."can't change the ballot now, state law says the candidate has to be qualified for the ballot by XX/XX date".

Yes, that is all this is about. They rely on people not paying attention. The campaign ads were written and filmed weeks ago, and this judge was told (and compensated) to get a conviction or else. They don't care if it gets overturned, and they don't care if it destroys the legal system.
The only goal is to be able to say 'convicted felon' and to win one more election, even if it destroys the country. There is not a single democrat that gives a shit about this country, only about power.

I was waiting on the hack squat machine yesterday. Good lord this woman was doing everything but working out on it. She was stretching her calves, holding onto the machine to stretch her quads, playing on her phone, etc. When she finally gets on the machine, she takes a full minute to get her feet planted in just the right spot. Then, she's facing toward the back rest in a football center's position, then she does this weird good morning lift that's like 90% back and 10% legs.
Then she was back to stretching and goofing around on her phone.
I ended up doing three sets of 15 goblet squats with a full 2.5 minute rest in between sets before she was done with the hack squat machine.
