Doddering Old Dementia Patient Insists That All the Polls Showing Him Losing to Trump Are Twisted and Skewed

OUT: Trust the Science

IN: Math is a lie told by the Devil

They just sent the Toricelli Option to the bullpen to warm up.

President Joe Biden genuinely believes his abysmal polling numbers don't reflect his actual support ahead of the 2024 election, an Axios report this week indicates.

Axios reported Tuesday that Biden and many of his closest advisers have privately insisted that the president is gaining ground--and even has the advantage--on former president Donald Trump in their rematch.

This insistence goes beyond efforts to save face, sources told the outlet, as many Democrats have attempted without avail to persuade Biden to alter his campaign strategy.

...

Biden has repeatedly cast doubt on the validity of polls that show him behind. At a campaign reception in California on Friday, he said, "I ... don't think the polls mean anything today," but that "the momentum is clearly in our favor."

In a CNN interview last week where he said he was pausing weapon shipments to Israel, he also insisted "the polling data has been wrong all along."

You know this talking point is important to Biden because he asked his shill Joe Scarborough to lie about it outrageously on MSNBC.

Joe Scarborough claims -- I'm not joking; my word as a Disinformation Expert -- that the New York Times poll has been "consistently slanted" against Biden and in favor of Trump.

Joe Scarborough is just a murderer (of the truth, I mean).

The Biden campaign highlighted these comments from MSNBC's Joe Scarborough on Monday morning where he says the New York Times/Siena poll always slants in favor of Donald Trump.

"I love the Times," Scarborough said. "But the New York Times/Siena poll traditionally, has consistently slanted toward Donald Trump. What's so funny is the Times will release their poll, the political and media class will run around with their hair on fire for about a month, and then three days later polls will come out and show a deadlocked race."

Preposterous video at the link.

You know, if Biden intends to steal the election again -- and he does -- he would first have to establish a plausible deniability about the outcome of the race. He would have to put out the word that the polls are lying and that he's really ahead in Wisconsin -- so that when they start stuffing ballot boxes and again reaching 130% voter participation, they can say, "Well, as we have long said, the polls were wrong. Not only were we right, but we just won the election."

"Doctor" Jill Biden complains about her new job (not really, it's a deep fake):

20 Rich Baris posted the NYT/Siena poll numbers from right before the 2020 election. They were one of the most pro-Biden pollsters during that race.

They had Biden winning Wisconsin by double digits and even taking Ohio. They fact is they are a Democrat poll so Biden's numbers are likely worse than they reported.

There is no Democrat in the field right now who can beat Trump at this point. The only Dem who could would be the one who publicly repudiated Biden's policies at any step of the way up to now, and none has.

Dean Phillips thinks he can be POTUS by saying that he's for all of Biden's policies (he voted for every single one of them, BTW) but he's sentient, as opposed to Biden. That's not a winning campaign position.

The Democratic Party is stuck with Biden. If it's not Biden, it will be Kamala. Which would be worse, if that's possible. And they know that.

40 Whatever else you might think of Steve Deace, he knows how to read the cross-tabs of a poll. On X:

Trump's strong performance in the top-line of this poll is contrary to the cross-tabs that show him often under-performing where he was in 2020, and almost exclusively results from Biden's under-performance with core constituencies of the Democrat Party -- blacks, Hispanics, and some demos of women. In other words, for this poll to be fulfilled 25 weeks from now would require Biden to perform worse with women than any Democrat since 1984, worse with blacks than any Democrat since 1956, and worse with Hispanics than any Democrat ever.

111 Newsom, Whitmer, all of the potential replacements suck. But they do have one thing that Biden doesn't, they aren't Joe Biden.

I don't think some appreciate just how bad Biden is doing right now. He has the worst approval ratings of any president at this point in his presidency since modern polling started after WWII. Worse than Carter, way worse than Trump. And he unlike in 2020 he now has a record and can't hide in his basement and have the media create one for him.

Someone coming in of the bench now has the benefit of the media creating a mythical record for them. Sure, those of us who follow politics will know the truth but we aren't going to vote for that person anyway. Biden can barely speak, Trump will curb stomp him in a 90 minute debate. And by dumb shit, remember all the crap about Miss America 1986 being fat? How about impugning a certain Gold Star father/family? If he was out there doing all that dumb shit again this time, the polls would be closer. Last time Trump only cleaned up his act and started talking about the country (instead of himself) in the closing 3 weeks of the campaign. With Trump being screwed over by Dem/Deep State lawfare, he can legitimately talk about himself AND how screwed the country is at the same time. This is MUCH better than Fat Miss America circa 2016.

I also am willing to bet that he can't explain how to create a sampling frame for a state to save his ass nor how to properly weight slices of the electorate to reflect likely voter turnout.

I am not a huge poll fan for any media poll but other time tested markers show horrible trouble for Biden (aka the gallup presidential approval rating for Biden has hit historic lows not seen since the Nixon Watergate years).

Richard Baris or Scott Rasmussen are far better sources for critiques of any particular poll. The guy at Real Clear Politics is also which I cannot remember their polling reporter's name.

183 Biden's lagging in battleground states. Can he catch up? Biden is trailing Donald Trump in five of the six battleground states polled. Conversely, Senate Democratic incumbents and candidates are running ahead of their likely challengers with registered voters in the four states polled, ahead of Biden's numbers anywhere from a handful of points to double digits.

there are two ways of viewing the gap between Biden and his Senate colleagues:

1- Biden is in trouble because he’s losing core Democratic voters now; or

2- The voters Biden is currently losing are among the most persuadable for Democrats and they’ll return home by November.

if Senate Democrats were also running poorly, it would suggest a so-called red wave election could be on the horizon. Joe Trippi remarks in a close contest, lagging among the Democratic base gives the Biden campaign lots of opportunities to pick up votes.

Polling at this early juncture continues to be inherently flawed because so many voters still aren't clued into the race—a point the Times' Nate Cohn made himself.

218 Well, it's pretty obvious the first choice was Mike Obama. But less than a day after they started floating her name she ran to an interview where she promptly admitted that she was suffering from depression. She doesn't do a lot of interviews, and the immediacy of that one was telling. She wants nothing to do with the White House (much to her husband's chagrin)

Hi Fen! This is big question...I suggest that under the "hostage taker stratagem" that the left and Dems cannot afford to replace Punchy - to do so would be to suggest that all this screaming, shouting or being aggressively angry (paid for by Soros and other Dem donors) to dump Trump, would then be rendered ineffective if the Dem party suddenly said, yeah, okay, we get it, let's find another candidate ourselves that appeases Americans.

It's not what the big money wants...I just can't believe that the Party would change course against their donor's strategy, much less their wishes...

Incumbents are usually ahead at this time in House, Senate, and gubernatorial races. What to watch for is whether the incumbent is polling below 49 percent and right now the sampling frame is usually registered voters or all persons which benefits the Dems.

Trends matter more than the actually numbers in polling right now. Stable numbers between now and November usually mean victory and declining numbers for the incumbent mean likely defeat.

I agree. I don't see a really good outcome for Democrats here. Sure, they will cheat but the race has to be at least close for that to work. Half the country at least now knows that 2020 was not on the level. The Democrats lawfare is helping convince a lot of people they are flat out corrupt. Maybe a new face with a fresh start could bring some enthusiasm and make the race a bit closer. I still think their bigger problem is downstream. If people don't show up for Joe many won't make it for Tester or Brown in Ohio either.

278 246 What local level changes took place to assure ballot integrity ? What changed in WI, PA, GA, MI to make one think that this time they will not do the same thing they did last time ?
Posted by: runner

Quite a few laws changed in GA. MI changed to worse, PA just had the 3rd Court of Appeals bar counting absentee ballots that show up after election day and that violate signature requirements. WI is a mess with a number of cases and a new leftist State Supreme Court.

Haven't paid much attention to Arizona.

However, in a large number of states, organizations like Judicial Watch, True the Vote, Voter GA, etc. are actively seeking to disqualify invalid voter registrations in a number of states. Those are the dead, moved, fictitious as in living in wal marts, or illegals.

They are winning their cases and until recently under Ronna, the GOP was sitting on the sidelines. Firing Spies as the chief legal counsel for the RNC along with other defeatist or leftist staffers will probably invigorate the RNC's ability to go after voter fraud as well prior to the election which is key.

Every invalid voter registration that is struck is one less for the Dems to steal.

IN person voter fraud is rare because the minuscule amount paying for the floater to commit a crime is simply not worth the time. Absentee ballots are where the action is and no state allows you to register same day and file an absentee ballot. Pretty much have to show up at the polling place to do that.

Same day worked back in the day for the Dems as they rounded up college yutes and churches to bus to the polls. Meanwhile the GOP concentrated on deflating its casual voters becuz corporate donors and liberal GOPe types hate the casual voters of the GOP.

Same day works against the Dems this year if honest voters show up register and then vote. I don't think the Dems want anyone self motivated to go to the polls and register to vote this year.

I'm convinced it was an intentional strategy to try and make Joe fly off the handle and say or do something that would make it clear that he was not in control of himself. It may have been a bad strategy but it was a strategy. But Joe's drugs were stronger than Trump's goading and you'll notice that he didn't repeat it in the 2nd debate.

When many millions of people are thinking this way, there is a real possibility that we're at the point when the regime's next affront against the masses could be its last one.

347 I'm convinced it was an intentional strategy to try and make Joe fly off the handle and say or do something that would make it clear that he was not in control of himself. It may have been a bad strategy but it was a strategy. But Joe's drugs were stronger than Trump's goading and you'll notice that he didn't repeat it in the 2nd debate.

Probably crap advice from Conway.

348 Trump has and has had very expensive private security which is probably better than the Secret Service is. Trump has no reason to trust the Secret Service types and recently a chatlog released under FOIA about the Mar A Lago raid gives him even less reason to trust them.

.
I was at Saturday's rally in Wildwood and there were Secret Service people wanding entrants, TSA people checking bags, Trump's private security, another private security company, NJ state troopers, and local police from a couple of surrounding municipalities. I have no doubt that there were plenty of undercover people wandering around, but still it was not enough.

Nothing was allowed inside the rally--no outside food, water bottles, soda, chairs, coolers, umbrellas, etc. Yet we were about 2 hours in before the SS realized hundreds of people had already purchased stainless steel mugs from one of the food trucks. They put a stop to the sale, but that was it. I was also very surprised to see that the amusement rides on the pier directly behind Trump were allowed to continue operation throughout the day. Didn't seem very safe to me. Very worrisome.

It is not a debate, but both Trump and RFK Jr are going to speak at the Libertarian presidential convention.

Which is going to be lit.

350 If your state bans abortions, and you really really want one, you can always travel to another state and get one. Duh.

My company announced a policy of paying employees to travel to get an abortion if you wanted one and lived in a state that didn't allow it.

That actually isn't an option in Indiana. It is illegal to go to another state and get one or enable that. Employer's who would be paying for that to be done would result in a direct violation of Indiana abortion statutes. I was shocked they went to a total ban, but it wasn't a big deal at all. They maintained all their legislative super majorities and will again in 2024 - and a stronger GOP governor will be running things.

351 Brandon will no doubt say this on election day too stating that the votes of illegals, zombies, vampires and the undead should have been given the full credit they merit.
