RFKJr. Told a Court During His Divorce Proceedings That a Worm Had Eaten Part of His Brain and Died Inside of His Skull, Giving Him "Cognitive Problems"

That reads like a juiced headline but it's actually 100% accurate.

The Times is attempting to take Kennedy out of the race.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. admitted in a 2012 deposition that a worm had eaten part of his brain and then died inside his head, according to a report by The New York Times.

RFK Jr. made the unusual admission during a deposition for his 2012 divorce proceedings.

Obviously the Times is attempting to destroy RFKJr. so that he doesn't take votes from Biden (who himself has a worm-riddled brain and "cognitive problems").

I'm not sure if I should root for their effort. RFKJr. seems to take more votes from Trump.

Different circumstances. Despite some claims Trump was never in any danger of losing the Republican nomination as is now obvious. Debates couldn't have done much to help him, just hurt him.

Biden is losing right now and one of the biggest concerns lots of voters have is his mental condition which is only getting worse. It would be very risky to put Biden on a stage with Trump for 90 minutes and let people see the constrast. The issues and answers would almost be secondary.

They are already hiding him as much as possible. A debate between Trump and Biden would draw an enormous audience.

My opinion, and worth every penny, but I think she knows Kensington is an embarrassment seen across the country in videos. While other big city Mayors have let the problem fester and grow she seems to be taking a proactive approach.

This is only the first six months of her term but she seems solid. I don't go into Philly any more but I don't wish it ill will. I hope she succeeds and shows other Mayors the way.

Basically, apply skepticism to everything nowadays and triangulate your way to some sort of fix on reality.

Robert Heinlein, in his Take Back Your Government primer, mentions relying on how to use the opposition's media to figure out what is going on. Basically the same technique that trial lawyers use with a hostile witness--look for statements against interests.

Waters blamed others for his own depression and misdeeds. The wall album was conceived in part after Waters lured a screaming fan closer at a concert and then spat on the guy.

Pete Townshend had a similar breakdown a bit earlier in the 70's but he turned his depression inwards into substance abuse and self loathing. One reviewer proclaimed Pete Townshend's suicide note composed the songs on Who By the Numbers.

Meh, I find the Wall has quite fine musicians but a quite nihilistic message. It does have Toni Tennille cameo vocal as the girl marveling at all those fabulous guitars.

The movie accentuates rather than reduces the nihilism.

Compare it to another two album masterpiece, Quadrophenia which deals with some of the same issues but from a fan's point of view. Basically everything around him, society, parents, his mates, his love, religion, and even rock has failed him but at the end, he has learned love is what he is missing after he loses everything and is stuck on a rock during a storm. More hopeful message and leaves the final fate of Jimmy unresolved. Better movie from the album too.

Basically everything around him, society, parents, his mates, his love, religion, and even rock has failed him but at the end, he has learned love is what he is missing after he loses everything and is stuck on a rock during a storm. More hopeful message and leaves the final fate of Jimmy unresolved. Better movie from the album too.

The last time we saw The Who, in 2022, my wife actually started crying when they played "Love, Reign O'er Me", because she misses being in the business (she was a stage hand for years). She actually knows Tom Kenny (The Who's production director) pretty well, and I have met him too. Really nice guy.

Don't be ridiculous. Nikki brings nothing personally to the ticket nor politically. My guess is that Trump will pick a loyalist. He seems to have learned his lesson about the politics of personnel. He dumped Ronna after Nikki dropped out and put his daughter in law there.

The RNC also dumped as the RNC chief counsel Charlie Spies who was a buddy of Marc Elias--Dem lawfare specialist. This was after people told Trump about how awful this guy was and that he was no fighter against election fraud.

I think he no longer feels any pressure as an 'oldies' group to top himself and he more or less gets to do what he wants to and when he wants to. Think he has a steady live in girlfriend now for years.

He also encouraged Roger to go out and play away doing a lot of Who songs recognizing that Roger needs the money.

There is a good youtube video out there of the most recent Who bass player, John Button, and he discusses his bass parts and how he deals with John Entwistle's legacy. About thirty minutes well spent.

You really do not want to research up your rock legends of any major group and many of the girls of that time were quite proud of who they did like the Plaster Caster sisters, Sweet Sweet Connie, and the like.

For whatever reason he did it, Pete took his legal licks, pleaded no contest to charges and was on the sex offender registry for five years. He also apologized and has since raised money to keep children safe from exploitation and for cancer research. Far more redemption than some in the rock world have done.

To my knowledge, no one has come across like Steve Tyler's live in tween girlfriend to light or the notorious fish incident with Led Zeppelin among others. Roger stuck with him and Roger is by all accounts a decent bloke.

375 eh, Radiologist here, RFK likely just had a spot in the brain that somebody thought was old Neurocysticercosis. These are fairly common, from a preventable parasitic infection caused by larval cysts of the pork tapeworm (Taenia solium). Alot of Mexicans have them, from poorly cooked Pork. You dont necessarily have symptoms from it, especially, if you just have one spot.
