Negotiating With Terrorists: Northwestern University Bribes Pro-Hamas, Pro-Terrorism Protesters With Full Ride Scholarships

After five days of anti-Israel demonstrators occupying Deering Meadow on Northwestern University's campus, Northwestern president Michael Schill and the rest of the university's leadership decided to accede to several of the protesters' demands.
While not committing to divesting its endowment from companies that do business in Israel and ending partnerships with Israeli institutions, the university released a list of concessions in a celebratory statement Monday afternoon in exchange for the removal of the encampment on the lawn.
Most notable among those concessions is a promise to offer full-ride scholarships to Palestinian students and guaranteed faculty jobs for Palestinian academics.
"The University will support visiting Palestinian faculty and students at risk (funding two faculty per year for two years; and providing full cost of attendance for five Palestinian undergraduates to attend Northwestern for the duration of their undergraduate careers)," the document reads. "The University commits to fundraise to sustain this program beyond this current commitment.

The university will also issue a statement telling employers not to "discriminate" against the pro-terrorism "scholars" involved in these campus takeovers.

At Yale, "demonstration marshals" have announced that only people who support Palestinian terrorism are allowed in the "liberated zone." They are attacking any journalists who attempt to report on them or photography them.

These colonizers have declared that Yale is now the private property of Hamas.

The encampment, which protesters called a "liberated zone," was erected at 3:30 p.m., with protesters blocking off the western and eastern ends of Cross Campus while others set up tents on the lawn. According to Yale Police Chief Anthony Campbell, this violated University policies regarding the use of outdoor spaces, postering and chalking, the use of amplified sound and the recently created policy on the placement of structures on campus spaces.
Organizers announced a set of community guidelines that all individuals within the zone must follow, including "being committed to Palestinian liberation and fighting for freedom for all oppressed people," as well as a zero-tolerance policy for any form of discrimination in the space.

No discrimination, except that no one is allowed to step on to the seized land unless they swear allegiance to the terrorists:

Throughout the day, marshals at designated entrances to the encampment asked pedestrians if they agreed to the community guidelines before allowing them to pass through Cross Campus. Pedestrians who did not agree to the guidelines were turned away.

Academics has a few very rich problems - one is a shrinking customer base - and their alienation of half of their potential students, as young men increasingly decide there is limited reason to attend. The largest most woke companies are to the point that their employment needs are dropping - they cut more people than they hire, and when things are bad economically as they are trending, they just don't hire hardly anyone. Most state universities in red states are being suggested to change lanes so to speak - or lose funding. The Columbia's and Northwestern's and the rest of the Ivy's are losing stature each day this goes on. At some point, the board of directors are going to face lawsuits on the diminished value of the degree based upon governance negligence. They are in a bunch of trouble.

I think the issue (the way you look losing weight) is with the biological response that is creating the weight loss. And with older people, weight loss in the face is always a dramatic look, with a bony gaunt look being common. The side effects are well known. What is less well known is after you go off it the weight will come right back absent a huge lifestyle change.

Long term I haven't heard much, but I have to think we will discover this is doing permanent damage because the drug thinks you have a pancreas issue - and of course unless you are a diabetic, you don't.

Last 6 or 7 was water weight cut to win a bet. Which I did. Leveled off at minus 30. Feel good, breathing better. Helluva lot easier to put my socks on. Slow and steady for the next 10-15lbs.... golf, walking, gym, cleaner diet, etc.

That's not wholly wrong. If you read Churchill, Chamberlain comes of rather better than you'd expect.

Partly, he DID start rearming, which was essential. Had he not, they'd have had no Spitfires, no modern battleships or carriers, etc.

The difference was partly that he thought Germany was more appeaseable than Japan. Really, neither was. (It's forgotten that WSC completely underestimated the Japanese threat. Without us, the Brits would never have been back in the East.)

The link the guy cites for that issue actually has a story about J&J discarding the 15 million doses, not administering them. I remember the story at the time which was that a brand new plant pressed into service produced shitty results. Same distortion appeared with the fetal tissue issue---the fetal tissue lines were created from cells from abortion but the actual cells involved were descendants of that line, not original. When you play games with sources like that in your main article, it makes the rest of it appear dubious.

A good demonstration of why it is always best to go to primary sources--not what someone says about them and it is a problem here that one cannot document such easily with the current design. It has its virtues but allowing easy discourse with sources provided for others to check your work is not one of them.
