National Guard Whistleblower Accuses Government of Lying About Millitary's January 6th Response

Via Twitchy, a National Guard captain who served as aide-de-camp to the general commanding the DC National Guard says that the Guard was ready to deploy on January 6th, but the Secretary of the Army told him to stand down -- and then lied about it.

He also says he's been a confidential informer on this matter -- a whistleblower -- but of course his anonymity was breached, presumably by someone he's implicating.

@kylenabecker

National Guard Captain Blows Up J6 Narrative, Accuses U.S. Govt of Lying to the American People

"I'm here today to aid the subcommittee in resolving factual errors in the official record of what happened on January 6th, 2021, specifically regarding the alleged District of Columbia National Guard delayed response caused by a critical presidentially appointed, Senate-confirmed Pentagon senior officials," Captain Timothy Nick testified under oath on Capitol Hill on Wednesday. [...]

"First, I want to explain my role on January 6th. I was assigned as aid to camp the personal assistant to Major General William Walker, the commanding General of DC National Guard. It was my only second day on the job (!). Please focus on alleged facts found in the November 16th, 2021 Department of Defense Inspector General's multidisciplinary review into the DC National Guard response and Department of Defense's role that day."

"I can say unequivocally that the Inspector General's Review is riddled with inaccuracies, misstatements, and perhaps false flags and narratives regarding how critical Pentagon senior officials responded when our republic was under great stress (!!)."

"For instance, during a conference call at 2:31 PM with members of United States Army, US Capitol Police, Metropolitan Police Department, District of Columbia Government, and US Secret Service Uniform Division, the US Army's Lieutenant General Walter Piatt, Director of Army staff and the Army's Lieutenant General Charles Flynn, Director of Chief of Staff of Operations were on the call." Also was Colonel John Lubas, executive officer to the Secretary of the Army."

"The Army FALSELEY DENIED that General Flynn was ever on the call. This is false and material on its face. Lieutenant Flynn was on the call and even participated in discussions. The defense inspector's review also rounds language papering over the fact that Lieutenant General Piatt, Lieutenant General Flynn, while on the call discussed how they did not like the OPTICS."

"That is a direct quote, and they stated it would be in their best military advice to recommend to the Secretary of the Army, Ryan McCarthy, to deny the request from Command General William Walker to deploy the DC National Guard and aid US Capitol Police in restoring restoration of Order Liberty on Capitol Hill."

He also alleges Secretary of the Army Ryan McCarthy is lying about having been on the call. See the tweet for that.

"We arrived too late. One American laid dead with other sisters and brothers injured, including federal and local law enforcement officers. We were ready and standing by. I know if we were able to deploy immediately, when General Walker made the request, the National Guard could have helped and civil disturbance and restored public order quickly."

"The Army National Guard motto was always ready, always there. The DC National Guard was ready to help and assist Capitol Police, but we were NOT ALLOWED to do our job due to paralyzed decision-making by acting Secretary of Defense,Chris Miller and Secretary of the Army, Ryan McCarthy..."

"This led to a crisis in federal leadership at the Pentagon and delayed the DC response by 3 hours and 19 minutes."

Instead, the DC police ran this op - with the FBI. Trump's failing was not calling the entire thing off. He's just not nimble enough, mentally, to avoid walking into a trap.

You say that ... and you are not wrong. Realistically, it probably needs to go down all the way to Brigade Commander level. And just chain the doors to the Pentagon.

But it's always been this way - just now worse. The Pentagon has always been staffed by those who politically worked their way to the top. Because that's how any bureaucracy works.

The history of WW II is that. All the doctrine was wrong, and those pushing the doctrine fought like Hell to save their own doctrine until the body count got too large ... as was the case for the Eighth Air Force. McNair never gave in, until he ate friendly fire as part of Cobra.

You know, that's the thing about people. All the quotes from Lincoln are still out there - yet, people will absolutely argue he didn't say what he said when I point out that he said his first priority was keeping the Union intact.

We all know - if we can read - that FDRs cabinet was flush with Communists. Yet, Mister Roosevelt saved us all.

And on and on. That's the thing about people. The truth is not absolute. It's not objective. It's just not black and white. Few things are.

Math is absolute. Everything else, pretty much, gets decided by which group screams the loudest.

Ever wonder why they hate math ? I don't wonder at all.

Math - at the end of the day - is the only objective test. You can either count, then count quickly enough to multiply, then do that well enough to take the geometry and calculus leaps ? Or you can't.

Some groups, as groups, can. Some can't. As groups - individuals of course exist. Math doesn't care. The answer is the answer. And the answer can literally be proven.

The fundamental beauty of math. I can take two rocks, and two more rocks, and put them in a circle of dirt. The answer is not five rocks - because there are only four rocks.

Language can call those quantities different things ... and do, all across the globe. But two rocks plus two rocks does not equal five rocks ... because a rock is missing. I'm a big, big fan of math for just that reason.

It wasn't paralyzed, it was deliberately still.

They were hoping against hope that it would turn into what they said it was - in other words, they were waiting for it turn into a murderous rampage-mob - so they could justify a major live-fire response and justify a "war footing" for the start of the administration.

The gambit failed. The crowd didn't behave like they expected, because the crowd wasn't comprised of young leftist revolutionaries. They sat there waiting for it happen.

The entire Jan6 affair has been run from a broken playbook. It's broken because the precipitating event never happened. They have kept trying to run it, but it doesn't work because the basic premise was wrong.

99% of statistics, as taught, is simply not applicable to the real world.

For example ... do what your stats book tells you. The classic problem ... measure one variable, track it, and plot it and analyze it to do all the theoretical shit taught to torture the numbers enough to get a confession regarding standard deviation and such.

Get this ... that process is not random. No process is. You'll discover, if you look and can see it, a non-random thing. A valve that sticks. Material that varies. Life is not random to the extreme statistics tries to preach.

Life is anecdotal.

The op has been a failure. The people involved were supposed to be in jail for life with an outraged country unified behind a major government crackdown against an existential threat. It was supposed to be a Reichstag fire. It wasn't.

Yes, they have loads of people locked in dungeons for no reason and from that standpoint, they got something for their trouble. On balance, however, it's been a failure. The people in dungeons aren't a symbol of victory, they're a symbol of the oppression and evil of the state. Their show trials were absurd. Their hearings were preposterous.

Reading suggested but a tiny part, "The White House’s treatment of Piatt differs from the hands-off approach it had to the promotion of another senior officer involved in the response, then-Lt. Gen. Charles Flynn. Flynn was the Army’s deputy chief of staff for operations, plans and training when the Capitol was assaulted, and is the brother of retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, a former Trump administration official who suggested before the Capitol attack that Trump should declare martial law and have the U.S. military run a new election.

There is no indication that Charles Flynn shares his brother’s extreme views, and senior defense officials have publicly and privately defended him as a bright leader who is loyal to the Constitution.

Flynn was promoted and allowed by the Biden administration to assume command of U.S. Army Pacific in early June 2021."

328 Is there is plug in or something that I can select (apply) to a paragraph of text, a collection of unrelated words, and have them alphabetized?

First, as Kindltot said there are definitely programs you can buy that will do this, and they’ll have all sorts of useful features. If literally all you want to do is select some words and have them alphabetized, you can be a lot cheaper, though. On a Macintosh, this would be an Automator Quick Action. I expect there’s something similar on Windows, and I would hope there’s something similar on Linux.

When I need to do this, I highlight the text, right-click, and choose “sort”. If it’s multiple lines, it sorts the lines. If it’s only one line, it sorts comma-delimited words or phrases. If there are no commas, it sorts on words.

Depending on what you need, it could be as simple as a three-line Perl program. Even if you don’t program, you probably know someone who could do that.

But I have also said numerous times - and stand by it - that they have to keep up appearances. Criminalization of dissident is actually a problem, and the predicate they were going to use for it fell apart on them. They're having to bend over backwards and twist themselves into knots to justify their actions. It wasn't supposed to be that way, they were supposed to do it with full support.

They couldn't. They are still in power, and dissent is still criminal - as it was even before Jan6, albeit less publicly - but they don't have the blank check they were trying to get.

"Jan 6 did not go as planned and the op failed to achieve its major objectives" and "the Party is nonetheless firmly in power and operates openly against dissidents" are not mutually exclusive positions.

The ice is braking on that--tactically it was a success for the Biden junta to consolidate power after a coup. Strategically, it was a mistake for the whole Uniparty to smear themselves with feces and claim that the public was smelling roses.

Essentially, our elite uniparty has lost the mandate of heaven and what we see is they keep doubling down on both domestic and foreign policy mistakes despite the fact that the masses are now awake to what they are doing. That creates plenty of kindling for someone, probably not Trump, to cross the Rubicon and drive them from power and most probably from their existence on this plane of existence.

Intolerable, thieving, corrupt, and unjust aristocracies end up promoting the population to pick the biggest, baddest junk yard dog to put down the aristos and their families by any means possible.

If the uniparty cheats its way to victory at such an obvious level AGAIN, that pattern is going to accelerate. The nation will fracture. NBC 10: President Joe Biden accepted endorsements from at least 15 members of the Kennedy political family during a campaign stop Thursday as he aims to undermine Donald Trump and marginalize the candidacy of independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Kerry Kennedy, a daughter of former Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, niece of former President John F. Kennedy and sister of the current presidential candidate, delivered the endorsements in Philadelphia by calling Biden “my hero.”

“We want to make crystal clear our feelings that the best way forward for America is to reelect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for four more years," she said.

Conservative messaging to ignore the legal and social ostracization associated with defending J6 is not winning the day against the fear narrative of cancellation and legal action. Yet Geometry is. 3-4-5 ... literally going back to Pythagoras, is applicable. And you can do 3-4-5 using sea shells, or your pecker, or any other unit of measure that's consistent.

Posted by: TheJamesMadison

Not really sure about that one. One of the top reasons for a governmental regime to be totally overturned is blatant cheating in elections. The left does not rule a consolidated country due to federalism and for the cheat to be effective, it can't be everywhere or particularly blatant.

Basically the tools to figure out cheating are there and the basic fodder for cheating in most states is the voter registration roll. New fractal techniques are out there to highlight non existent voter addresses, dead people, and the various place keepers used to keep the cheat from being discovered using normal sql relational type database technology.

A lot of that is happening more or less out of sight of the media because they dare not cover demonstrations of fake voters that happen when court cases striking them from the rolls occurs. Motor voter has one important flaw in the ointment for cheaters-it allows almost anyone to go to state and federal courts concurrently to challenge voter rolls via lawsuits.

Because Math is objective. It really is. If you can't agree over math ? How in the Hell are you supposed to agree over anything political or social ?

Math is easy. The answer is right there. Either you can solve it, or you can't. "I don't agree with the solution" isn't an option.

I understand and share your optimism - unfortunately, having served in the military, I think we're all going to be shocked at how long that brute force actually can be maintained if those imposing it are so motivated to do so, as long as they have a cowered public, established through a similarly complicit evil media, to accept it.

The Third Riech may not have lasted 1000 years, but they certainly did rule thru evil over an intelligent, industrious and otherwise normal moral country for well over a decade, and rather easily...it's depressing to think about it.

406 I beg to differ, it did achieve much of its major objectives for a swing state.

City & State PA: 'The Jan. 6 criminal case tracker
An in-depth chronicling of the ever-growing number of Pennsylvanians charged and convicted of crimes committed during the 2021 insurrection,' Jan 24, 2023.

In part, "In the aftermath of the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol, dozens of Pennsylvanians have been arrested for their role in the 2021 riot.

Supporters of then-President Donald Trump flocked from all corners of the state, from Pittsburgh and Palmyra to Harrisburg and Havertown, to Washington, D.C. for a Trump rally that later turned violent. To date, 72 Pennsylvanians have been charged to date for their role in the insurrection, which disrupted a joint session of Congress dedicated to certifying Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential election win.

Pennsylvania ranks third among U.S. states for the total number of residents charged with Jan. 6-related offenses, according to an analysis by Stacker.

Charges levied against Pennsylvania defendants include the destruction of government property, obstruction of an official proceeding, violent entry and assaulting law enforcement officers."

412 Some of the whistleblower's testimony:
". . . my heart goes out to all the law enforcement officers, sisters and brothers, that held the line that day to restore public order to the chaos."
". . . the January 6th Atack on the United States Capitol."
". . . when our Republic was under great stress."
". . . the National Guard could have helped end the civil disturbance and restored public order quickly."

What would the National Guard have done with such attitudes among its commanders?
Would they have somehow peacefully dispersed the crowd just by being there in their uniforms?
Would they have stopped the capitol police from shooting someone for no reason?
Or would they have turned it into Bonus Army 2: Civilian Massacre Boogaloo?

Every NG whistleblower in this affair has referred to J6 in the harshest possible terms and all have wanted to unleash fully armed Guardsmen on the people involved.
Their complaints have all focused on the government and their commanders covering up not wanting to do that.
If true, I am not seeing how that is a Bad Thing (TM), and I wonder just how big a massacre these whistleblowers would have unleashed had they been allowed to "restore order".
