Fermin Garcia-Gutierrez, a migrant man who has been deported seven times, has been charged with aggravated murder in Hamilton, Ohio. The 46-year-old, who has allegedly used multiple aliases and birth dates, has been jailed 11 times since his first arrest in 2001.

Nelson Balido, chairman of the Border Commerce and Security Council, questioned why Garcia-Gutierrez was continuously jailed and released. He asked whether the judge was responsible or if ICE was not called for deportation.

Internal federal documents reviewed by The Post show the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has been in contact with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) regarding Moreno, and is mulling charges against him.
The exact charges are not known, but sources said they would likely be brought under a section of the Gun Control Act which prohibits those on parole from possessing, shipping, transporting or receiving firearms or ammunition.

As I said before, they're only throwing the book at this one illegal -- who is not so different from millions of other illegals -- because he's mocking Biden's policies and showing them for the grim farce they are.

They want to flood this nation with illegals. They just don't want US citizen normies to notice. This guy makes the normies notice, so the DOJ and INS and ATF are called in to make this PR problem go away.

His crime isn't illegal entry or welfare scamming or illegal possession of a firearm. Leftists routinely decline to prosecute such cases.

His crime is embarrassing the left with the consequences of their policies seven months before an election.

Trump's press secretary announced that a Trump election will result in the biggest mass deportation in history.

Start small, first close the border. Then Fedgov offers a bounty on the successful capture of a suspected illegal. You report a suspected illegal and if it turns out they are in fact illegal the Fed gives you $500 after they are arrested, no limit. Word of that gets out to the illegal community and the majority will self deport.

Fed then sends them back to their country and if that country refuses to take them, off to GITMO they go unless they voluntarily deport themselves. There is room for over 100,000 illegals there. We had 20,000 Cubans and Haitians at the same time and we had plenty of room to make more tent cities.

Most of those were legal. It used to be that migrant farm work in the US was family business for a lot of people from Mexico, and they would be there with visas, traveling around, doing harvest, and then going back home.

It's probably still that way with any that are willing to work.

The idea that we need illegal aliens anywhere is utterly false and completely stupid.

That said, if the Dems want to conflate legal immigration and illegal invasion to the point that even their own supporters say "lock the border, no more foreigners", I'm not going to stop them.

No, there's ongoing fight that's evolving into a nullification crisis that could lead to a war.

Legally, the answer to this is simple. It's the responsibility of the FedGov to secure the border, prevent illegal crossings and deport anyone who is here illegally or violates the terms of their visas or residency requirements. It is the responsibility of the state and local governments to apprehend illegal aliens, prosecute them for other crimes they may have committed, then turn them over to the feds for deportation (or just turn them over for deportation, depending on circumstances).

None of this is difficult or hard to determine in terms of responsibility. The problem is that the FedGov and various state and local governments are derelict in their duties, forcing state and local governments to intervene and thus creating legal conflict and nullification problems because the feds won't do their damn jobs and the states are sick of it.

I hate to say this, but illegals make up a large majority of restaurant workers throughout the country. You'd be hard pressed to find a place that doesn't have any. Much the same goes for laborers in the construction industry. Not saying it's right or that I like it, just that it's true.

With Joe's recent 10,000,000, we probably now have upwards of 30,000,000 illegals here now. That's close to 10% of our total population. Think about that. Perhaps one in ten people in this country are here illegally, and they are everywhere.

If you go into the kitchen in even a high end restaurant, the staff back there is almost all hispanic (and to a lesser extent Asian) and mostly illegal. When a police agency finds an illegal, it arrests the illegal, notifies ICE and detains him until ICE can move him. Stack them three deep in the drunk tank if needed.

ICE takes custody of the illegal and transfers him to a prison camp near the border. Those camps will have to be established, but high-capacity bases with Quonset huts and basic facilities are not hard to build. Once in the camp, they await their hearings.

Attached to the camps are high-speed, dedicated immigration courts. Each judge will be expected to hear and adjudicate at least 32 cases per shift (4 per hour, eight hour shifts) with three shifts per day. With 120 ruthless immigration judges (40 per shift), they can adjudicate 3,840 cases per day. If the alien's asylum claim is possibly legitimate, it is kicked to a lower-volume court also attached to the camp for final decision. Most will be denied and returned to the departure area of the camp to await deportation.

Tyson is a local(ish) employer that I tried to support, especially when their chicken patties were better than Banquet's. They changed the formula recently for the worse, so I'm not having a huge problem dropping them. I'm seeing their shelves in the grocery store become empty much, much slower than the other brands. Oh, and Bud Light is still drastically on sale.

And not having to know Spanish to work in a kitchen will go a long way, too. Plenty of places just won't hire you for that kind of work if you don't speak Spanish, because everyone else does. It becomes a self-reinforcing problem.

I found this to be true when I was a teenager in the late 90s/early aughts, long before the illegal alien infestation happened. A lot of places just wouldn't hire anyone under 18. The supermarket would, and a couple of area restaurants. That was it. I gave up and did - you guessed it - babysitting instead because I couldn't get a job as an under-18, even then.

To make matters worse, the owner's kid, under age, worked in the shop and he could legally do anything.

when the price of labor increases, the first jobs lost are the ones that don't at least earn their wages: trainees, kids, customer service all tend to not make money, but cost money for training young newbies and increasing customer satisfaction. That is why kids don't get hired anymore, and the retail and food service is all turning into "grimy soviet style public washroom" mode.

Not just illegals. Companies learned fast that they could hire older, retired workers -- often working part time -- and get experienced workers that were more dependable than teenagers. Today's teenagers are on the whole lazy, incompetent, and/or don't give a shit. I wouldn't hire them either. Of course there are exceptions. But they are exceptions.

My buddy had a customer who was doing a sting at the Naval War College a couple of years ago. He was in Naval Intelligence.

Turned out his specialty was planning for the possibility of a nuclear attack and assessing the damage in suspected targeted areas. My friend asked him what if anything he could do to prepare and the response was along the lines of "I can't go into any detail because it's all classified but this area won't be habitable for many years".

I take that as a bad sign.

my friend (legal immigrant btw) runs a landscaping/construction massive multi-pronged deal out here, and he is very against hiring illegals, hires his family and other legal immigrants and my kids to do grunt work too.
