Good morning, kids. You'd think the stories over this weekend were just one big April Fool's joke, and if you are of a certain age and more crucially of a certain mindset – that is, sane – the headlines would certainly come across that way. But, they're not. And not just from this past weekend but really they've become more and more insane going back years.

This past weekend was the holiest on the Christian calendar. Easter. And yet the leadership of this nation, it's figurehead being a senescent near-vegetable and criminal pervert, proved for all to see that there is indeed a war on Christianity and Judaism, and those who adhere to those twin pillars of real civilizational development. Or at the very least, those who reject the undeniable insanity of those who view themselves as gods and the absolute moral authority over this nation.

Example number one: Easter Sunday being transmogrified from the traditional recognition of the meaning of Christ's crucifixion and resurrection into something that would be as enraging to Jesus as that of the moneychangers in the Temple 2,000 years ago.

If you thought March 31 was Easter Sunday, think again, heretic. And no, I’m not referring to the fact that for, Orthodox Christians, Easter falls this year on May 5. Those who celebrate Easter on March 31 are heretics from the standpoint of the Biden regime’s favored religion, which is worlds away from Old Joe’s ostentatious and hollow Roman Catholicism. March 31, you see, is the Transgender Day of Visibility.
. . . And speaking of invisibility, that’s a good description of Old Joe Biden’s Christianity, except when he hauls it out in pursuit of votes. “Each year on March 31,” GLAAD asserts, “the world observes Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV) to raise awareness about transgender people.” Well, no. “The world” doesn’t celebrate the Transgender Day of Visibility. The government and a small minority of the people of the United States and some Western European countries do, and Canada tags along as always, and that’s about it. In many areas of the world, the idea of celebrating this particular mental illness would be greeted with amusement and disgust. . .
. . . it is also virtually certain that the Resurrection of Jesus Christ will continue to be celebrated many, many years after the Transgender Day of Visibility has been relegated to the dustbin of history and is generally regarded as what it really is: a symptom of the twenty-first century West’s cultural, spiritual and moral decline.
In the meantime, the fact that the Transgender Day of Visibility falls on Easter Sunday, and is the subject of a presidential proclamation while Easter remains unmentioned, is yet another indication of the real religion of Old Joe Biden and those around him. Although Biden and some others are professing Christians, they actually bow down and worship the gods of this age: libertinism, self-indulgence, and raw power.

Upon nailing his 95-year-old feces to the door of the church, the backlash against Biden's apostasy was immediate, forcing whoever is changing his Depends and loading his teleprompter to issue a more or less traditional Good Friday greeting, albeit two days late.

No apologies or backtracking on this insult, though.

In yet another casual insult to the vast majority of Americans, the Biden White House has banned all religious imagery and themes in its annual Easter art contest. Apparently, they are still calling Easter, Easter, but this move is just outrageous. Obviously, they are saying “religious,” but they mean Christian.
The Biden [junta] banned children from submitting Easter eggs with religious themes for its 2024 “Celebrating National Guard Families” art contest.
The competition, which is part of the White House’s annual Easter Egg Roll, explicitly stipulated that egg designs not feature any “religious symbols” on the Christian holiday.
“The Submission must not include any questionable content, religious symbols, overtly religious themes,” a flyer with instructions from the White House stated.
. . . . Other restrictions include depictions promoting “bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual based on race, gender, religion, nationality disability, sexual orientation or age,” the White House stated. Child participants were also told not to depict “illegal drugs or firearms” or to include “material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous.”
Scenes from the popular Democrat kiddie porn library are probably fine, though.

Or how about this wonderful book in your toddler's school library?

"This is My Vulva." Made me think of the song I learned at that age nearly 60 years ago, "This is My Country." That and the scene from Full Metal Jacket with the men parading around the barracks in their skivvies chanting "This is my rifle, this is my gun." You may substitute the words as you wish.

So, no imagery of Jesus or Christianity on its holiest day. Why even have this event in the first place? The answer is simple: a display of raw power.

They fear it, hence their desperate need to destroy it, and failing that, transform it into an image that reflects their wants and desires. "Trans" being quite appropriate here. I have no quarrel with homosexuals or transexuals. My thoughts on their "condition," shall we say, aside, my objection is their lifestyle being used as a weapon to upend and destroy the established order of society and human development, which has brought us down from the trees, out of the darkness and to a summit of achievement, again the main pillar and driver being the precepts of Judeo-Christianity.

History moves in fits and starts. Humanity is of course far from perfect, because of human nature itself. Yet despite the false narratives and smears, it's not Jews and Christians hurling gays and trannies off of rooftops or stoning them to death. Tolerance does not mean acceptance, but let's put things in perspective. Of course, we cannot do that because that would expose the hypocrisy and outright lies of those who seek our destruction and subjugation via moral rot and decay, the promotion of homosexuality and transexuals being a part of that. The tell is that it's no longer about forcing us to "accept" them and their lifestyles as normal. It's about persecuting those with traditional views of family and sexuality as evil. Where's the tolerance let alone the acceptance there?

Focusing just on transsexualism alone, it's a psychosis that is conveniently being glommed onto as both a weapon to physically and mentally destroy children, as well as to create a whole group of new "victims" with which to accuse us of persecuting.

That was Raphael Warlock, er, Warnock, an alleged senator from Georgia who pimps himself as a man of the cloth despite being a confirmed wife/girlfriend/concubine beater as well as a slumlord. He does wear the skin suit of righteousness well, despite the stench and trail of flesh-engorged maggots trailing behind him.

Meanwhile, on the heels of debasing Christianity on its holiest day, the occupants of the White House had this to say about where they were taking whatever the hell is left of our nation. And it is indeed hell.

"If given the opportunity to nominate another justice to our nation's highest court, or if I change my mind about expanding the court, my next nominee will be the first illegal immigrant ever nominated to the United States Supreme Court," Biden told reporters outside the White House, in a rare back-and-forth with the media. "Sorry. I meant to say undocumented. The next Supreme Court justice on my watch will be an undocumented immigrant of color. Oops."
. . . "Undocumented representation on the Supreme Court is long overdue," said Cordelia Campos-Patterson, assistant professor of Latinx studies at Yale University. "How can we call ourselves a nation of laws when millions of non-citizens are denied the opportunity to assess the constitutionality of those laws?"

Because, Cordelia, non-citizens are exactly that. They're NOT CITIZENS and as such have zero right to have any voice in what is and what is not Constitutional in a country where, yet again, they are not citizens.

Senior White House adviser Ian Sams defended Biden's pledge, noting that the U.S. Constitution does not specify whether an individual must be a natural-born citizen to serve on the Supreme Court. "If an Uncle Tom like Clarence Thomas can sit on the court promoting white supremacy for more than three decades, I think it's only fair to let an undocumented immigrant have a turn," he said.

Note to Ian Sams. You are an insect, nay a paramecium, compared to Justice Thomas, intellectually, morally and in every way shape and form possible as a human being. Speaking of having a turn, your mother's like a doorknob; everyone gets one.

Yeah, I'm a bit confused on how that would work. The candidate would have had to go to law school (as an illegal), been bar-certified (as an illegal), and would have been a practicing attorney/judge for many years (as an illegal) before assuming the robes of a SC Justice.

Nope, and he can't, which is why I think the presidency is something of a false prize. It is a bit better to have a non-POS in the Oval, but it is a matter only of degrees.

The problem is the "deep state" of administrative bureaucracy and unchecked surveillance and the associated weaponization of the IC and federal LE. That can technically be dealt with by destroying the agencies, but requires all three branches to do. The President and the congress have to cooperate to do that, and the SCOTUS would have to uphold it. Even if that weren't a monumentally tall order on its own, I think they wouldn't pursue it for fear that they wouldn't win. The greatest and most terrible thing to consider is along the lines of, "what if they outlawed and abolished the DoJ, and it didn't matter?"

This is true, but there’s an ironic truth displayed in our history that if the right person has that power and voluntarily gives it up, that act alone can be beneficial. I’m thinking of George Washington of course who voluntarily retired after 2 terms. FDR destroyed that legacy with his 4-term power grab.

From what I've heard from a friend who served in Afghanistan, he also gets stoned - but it's different.

He described such an event to me. He witnessed it, and decided not to re-enlist because he no longer thought that those people were worthy of any American blood or treasure.

As he described it, both the man and the woman were buried before the stoning. The woman up to her chest, the man up to his waist. The man could get away and take a lot of body blows in the process. The woman could not get away and took mostly head blows. It's designed to wound and injure the man, and kill the woman. One can escape and the other cannot.

Not sure if that's true, but it is what a friend told me during a rant about how we should have just glass-packed Afghanistan and done the world a favor.

I don't really disagree with that, but that's an argument for Trump rather than against Trump.

But ultimately, unlike most politicians, Trump will do what we want him to do. He took the lead on many of these issues, which other politicians had refused to do for decades. That's also a key differentiator.

1. Trump won't use extra-constitutional power, not sure why you're asserting he would. In this context, this is a weakness rather than strength because the country is not in a place where it can be fixed within the system as it exists.
2. We're well aware the "process-compliant" fix would theoretically be through the legislature. I don't think it's going to happen. It just doesn't historically. Usually countries just death spiral absent a specific sort of intervention.
3. The people who save countries from collapse, such as Franco or Pinochet, weren't elected. Nor do we have such a person on the ballot.

Trump is literally a work within the system guy, who's going to do the best he can within the rules. Because of this, he will fail to make a lasting impact. Oh well.

"There's no one else" is also a weak-tea defense of Trump. Of course there were other people running against Trump. A couple of them had pretty good cases they were the same kind of outsider Trump was in 2016. And Trump steamrolled them all, I'm utterly convinced on the strength of his celebrity.

Now whether you agree with me on that particular point or not, NOW would be a good time to be thinking about two possible outcomes:

1. What happens if Biden cheats his way back into office?

2. What will you do it Trump beats Biden, has his four years, and Biden (or someone like him) runs in 2028?

Of all my complaints about Trump, most of them are pretty personal-level stuff. But if he's everything and more that his supporters say he is, he's still not the fix for what really ails us in this country.

Happened under Mayor Wellington E. Webb, toward the end of his eternal term (he was mayor for close to 15 years).

I remember being a teenager and driving my dad's pickup truck to the Sears appliance warehouse on the edge of downtown Denver and seeing a billboard at my exit from the highway. That billboard read, "Welcome to Sanctuary City."

Denver became a "sanctuary city" thanks to a Webb executive order in 1998. Denver was ahead of the curve on it. It didn't rise to prominence until the end of his term in the early aughts, but it was there. It was there even before the bluing of Colorado thanks to second great migration from California, and the conversion of the state into a permanent blue stronghold thanks to universal cheat-by-mail.

Denver wants what it has today. It has wanted it for 25 years. It's finally getting it.

In 2016, Trump owned the illegal immigration issue. That's due to the other candidates being less willing to touch it or advocate for what the base wanted.

In 2024, most candidates were now simply copying Trump's policy positions. This isn't very convincing, why not just go with the original?

We all know Trump isn't perfect. People haven't made a convincing argument that other candidates were better, at best the argument was made that they'd mostly be similar but perhaps less bombastic.

Yeah, what was upsetting about Biden's behavior isn't that he's slighted Christians, not exactly. What I am reacting to is that it's an escalation in the Left's demonization/othering of Christians. He has declared us the enemy politically, and now feels comfortable openly insulting us on one of the most holy days.

When he says Christian Nationalism is the biggest threat to democracy, he means it. He sure as heck would never openly, intentionally insult Muslims, LGBTQ, illegal aliens. He's almost there with the Jews (one can imagine what he feels comfortably saying about them in private given his current policies), but he still needs campaign donations from them, I guess.
