America First Legal Accuses Disney of Financial Malfeasance In Pursuing a Toxic Woke Agenda at the Expense of Its Shareholders
Leak: Nelson Peltz Ahead in Proxy Ballots Cast So Far

They accuse Bob Iger and his handpicked board of violation of fiduciary duty.

Fiduciary duty is the obligation someone has when entrusted to manage someone else's money or property. The duty requires the person in control of the property to make choices for the benefit of the person who actually owns the property, and to not make self-serving decisions for his own benefit.

Disney's management has, of course, impoverished the shareholders so that they can have the (non-sharable, non-dividable) benefit of being praised by Hollywood lefties and groomers.

As Fox News reports, a letter was sent to Disney on Wednesday by America First Legal (AFL) accusing the company of unlawful discrimination, as well as forcing political messages that have resulted in "damage to Disney's brand, properties, and commercial reputation by management's manufactured misalignment between its woke political and social agenda and the vast majority of the Company's customers."

SEC disclosure filings require the principles of a corporation to forthrightly admit all possible risks to the company so that investors will have the information necessary to make an informed choice in investing.

Disney acknowledged that their woke agenda caused a possible "misalignment" of their objectives and the public's sentiments. They disclosed the fact that their woke agenda was alienating the public and causing a huge loss of shareholder values by speaking of a "misalignment." Of course they put it in the weakest, most weaselly way possible.

AFL, which is run by Stephen Miller, a former senior adviser to President Donald Trump, further claims that Disney's upper levels of management "intentionally manufactured misalignment between the Company and its core customers" in recent years, which has led to the company's market capitalization losing over $100 billion since February of 2021.

"Disney has displayed an inexplicable disregard for its customers and shareholders, forcing radical gender-expansive, anti-White, and anti-police content on families while providing warnings about harmful content on uncontroversial content," said AFL in a press release, which went on to cite several examples of left-wing rhetoric and messages in Disney's various entertainment products, from TV shows to movies.

In February, AFL filed a civil rights complaint against Disney with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, claiming that the company implemented a "patently illegal" hiring program that overwhelmingly favored "underrepresented" groups.

The leftwing shill media even admits that Iger might be in trouble. This Hollywood Reporter shamelessly shills for Iger, but it does concede that the ISS endorsement of Nelson Peltz for the board moved the needle.

If Bob Iger were a Marvel superhero, his power would be persuasion. The Disney CEO has long leaned on his ability to convince others of his plans. From film and TV writers, directors and stars, to Disney shareholders, to the company's own board members, Iger's track record has been impeccable.

Consider possibly the most important deal he ever led: Disney's $4 billion acquisition of Marvel Entertainment in 2009. While Marvel's success since then is not in dispute, at the time the idea of Disney chasing young men via the comic book brand was seen as a real risk. In his 2019 memoir The Ride of a Lifetime, Iger recalls how he pitched a skeptical Steve Jobs on the deal.

Jobs, who had sold Pixar to Disney just a couple of years earlier, was Disney's largest shareholder and a member of the board. He also told Iger that he had never read a comic book in his life, "so I brought an encyclopedia of Marvel characters with me to explain the universe to him and show him what we would be buying," Iger recalled. Jobs ultimately bought into the idea and called Marvel chairman Ike Perlmutter to vouch for Iger, helping to seal the deal.

Okay, that's definitely shilling for Iger. The Hollywood Reporter thinks that Iger's action in picking up The Handbook of the Marvel Universe, which you can buy off Amazon, to show Jobs how many characters Marvel owned was some kind of fifth-dimensional chess.

My God, it's the most basic bitch thing you could possibly do.

Fifteen years later and Disney finds itself at a crossroads, facing a bitter proxy fight with Nelson Peltz and his Trian Partners, who are backed by billions of dollars in Disney stock owned by Perlmutter, all set to come to a head April 3 at Disney's annual meeting.

The former Marvel chairman, who was let go last year in a round of corporate cost-cutting, plays a shadow role in Peltz's push, with the Trian chief telling Financial Times in an interview, "Why do I have to have a Marvel that's all women? Not that I have anything against women, but why do I have to do that? Why can't I have Marvels that are both? Why do I need an all-Black cast?" -- comments that mirror critiques of Iger's strategy by Perlmutter. And Peltz said of Marvel chief Kevin Feige, "I question his record," again mirroring comments from Perlmutter, and sparking a rebuke from Disney, which noted that with $30 billion at the box office, Feige is the top-grossing producer of all time.

But the endgame (to lean on a Marvel reference) remains uncertain...

The Wall Street Journal received a leak of how the proxy voting is going so far. Nelson Peltz is ahead of the current board member he's running against, with 22% of ballots in. Jay Rasulo, who did not receive ISS's endorsement (I guess they wanted to play it safe and only endorse one challenger board member), is not getting the votes to defeat his opponent.

Big caveat: the big institutional investors, including the very woke capital management companies like BlackRock, have not voted yet.

World of Reel noted the partnership is already raising eyebrows in Hollywood.

IndieWire admitted to having "conflicted" feelings about the project. Screen Slate went a step further and said there was even more reason to get "mad" since the docu series was being produced by "Hollywood Zionist" Matti Leshem. Filmmaker Ted Geoghegan called the news "disappointing." Variety writer Joe Leydon frustratingly tweeted "Nope."

XBox meddling? Indeed, Midnight's Edge reports that Microsoft and XBOX are now demanding that game publishers make their games woke if they want to get permission to sell the games at all. The new liberal Karen woman in charge of XBOX development has laid down the law that, quote, "If you're not intentionally including, then you're unintentionally excluding" to mandate checkbox diversity in games.

This new "framework" for inclusivity is required for all games to be released on Xbox.

I used to play D&D RPGs (Balders Gate, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, etc) and I recall you could do that easy enough. Is that not a thing now? Even FPS, that could be done. Did Woke parasites now make that impossible?

Would be curious to know if he had first approached another cable outlet and/or studio to do this. It may be that they are mad he’s found a way to do this when they are confident this type of fate is no longer produced in Hollywood. Right, FF XVI released in June 2023, is exclusive to the Playstation 5, and might be worth playing. There's also the aforementioned remastered version of Demon's Souls, but the original version can be purchased for the PS3 (or played on a PC via an emulator, though of course anyone doing so should own the game legally).

Despite having released in 2020, the PS5 is still quite lacking in games exclusive to that console. Even adding games available on PS5 and at least one other console but not the PC would only increase that list by one or two entries.

Long after my command in the Navy had quit keeping cash on hand (PSD) to cash checks or make payments to vendors we kept calling security when we closed and locked the doors at the end of the day and they would make a log entry.


One day I asked someone why we did that. They said it's because of the safe. I said....you mean the empty safe that we never close anymore because it's empty and we don't use it?


We quit calling base security when we locked the doors after that conversation.

135 LOL, one of Armored Core's best-known traits is not even showing any human characters, so they wouldn't be able to woke it up if they tried. Unless the giant stompy robots have races.

Fair warning on it ACVI though: the first boss comes a few minutes into the game and is MUCH harder than a lot of the bosses you fight later on, because you can't just overpower it with upgrades and have to actually play skillfully to beat it. It took me an hour or two of banging my head against it to beat it the first time. If that kind of thing frustrates you instead of making you want more, it's probably not for you.

Yea, it was an open secret in Silicon Valley around the time it was happening. DARPA, which was really just a front for the CIA/NSA, was one of the first investors in what would become Google. They were interested in crowd dynamics and tracking people as to see what types of information they were going after. They never really left.
