Illinois Parole Board Lets Criminal Out of Prison Despite His Menacing a Mother With a Child; The Day After He's Set Free, He Attacks the Mother and Kills the Child

The 11-year-old boy was trying to protect his mom from this dangerous criminal, so the murderer stabbed him to death.

An 11-year-old Chicago boy died Wednesday as he tried to protect his pregnant mother from her knife-wielding ex-boyfriend who was released from prison a day earlier.

Crosetti Brand, 37, is accused of stabbing the boy in the chest and the 33-year-old woman before he was arrested for the heinous killing of Jayden Perkins, according to the Chicago Police Department.

Brand had been paroled Tuesday from the Stateville Correctional Center, where he was serving a 16-year sentence for home invasion and aggravated assault.

He forced his way into his ex-girlfriend's home in Edgewater, Ill. and "brutally attacked" the family, Chicago Police Superintendent Larry Snelling said during a Friday press conference.

The 33-year-old mother of two was leaving with her children to take them to school at around 8 a.m. when Brand attacked.

The 11-year-old boy stepped in to shield his mother, who was stabbed in the doorway of their home, from the deranged criminal.

Snelling also noted that the woman's "5-year-old son was also present and witnessed the attack."

The mother and son were rushed to the hospital after officers arrived on the scene to find them both stabbed "multiple times."

Here is -- was -- Jayden Perkins, the brave boy who died protecting his mother. Here is the next victim of The Democrat Party Murder Cult:

Two members of the parole board have now resigned.

But the murdered child has not been resurrected.

Illinois parole board resigns following release of child's killer

Quick Hit:

The chair and a member of the Illinois Prisoner Review Board have resigned following the murder of 11-year-old Jayden Perkins by a recently paroled convict. The resignations come amid public outrage over the board's decision to release the perpetrator, Crosetti Brand, who committed the crime less than 24 hours after his release.

Key Details:

Board chair Donald Shelton and board member LeAnn Miller resigned on Monday following the murder of Jayden Perkins.

Crosetti Brand, the parolee, allegedly ambushed and killed Jayden and attacked his mother, Laterria Smith, less than a day after his release.

Despite Laterria Smith's request for a protection order against Brand, the board approved his parole, leading to the tragic incident.

Diving Deeper:

The incident has sparked widespread outrage, particularly as Smith had sought a protection order against Brand just a month prior to the incident. Brand, who was serving a 16-year sentence for home invasion and aggravated assault, was granted parole on March 12th. The attack on Smith and her son occurred just hours before a scheduled hearing about the protection order.

Both the Illinois Department of Corrections and the Illinois Prisoner Review Board claimed they were unaware of the protection order hearing. However, emails obtained by CBS 2 indicated that the Department of Corrections had knowledge of the hearing as early as February 22nd.

Update: Jayden at his dance school.

The Democrat Party wants to fucking kill you. It's the party of murderers, thieves, groomers and pedophiles.

For more evidence of this: Minnesota's terrorist-sympathizing, antifa-supporting AG, Keith Ellison, says that we have to prosecute the real criminals responsible for vehicle theft.

No, not the carjackers and thieves themselves. They're Democrat voters, or rather, they will be Democrat voters when Democrat ballot harvesters request ballots in their names and vote for them.

No, the real criminals are auto manufacturers who have made their cars just "too tempting" to steal and an "attractive nuisance" hypnotizing young Democrat Scholars into stealing them.

He rejects the idea of prosecuting the "downstream" criminals -- that is, the actual criminals.

He says we have to go "upstream" to the root causes of the crime. By which he means car makers making their cars too sweet to resist stealing.

"But we have to go upstream, and we got to make sure that the automobiles are not so easy to steal that they are a tempting, attractive nuisance for young people. Right now we are investigating two major automakers because their cars are dramatically too easy to steal for young people," he claimed.

They're not "dramatically too easy" to steal. However, all vehicles, being expensive property which is, by design, self-propelled expensive property," are relatively easy to steal. Cars must have windows, and windows are easily broken. All locks are easily defeatable.

Cars are valuable property which supply their own getaway vehicle.

This is by design.

Traditionally people don't steal cars because of the threat of prison, but the Democrat Party has eliminated that as a possible consequence.

So now car makers must remove windows from cars, I guess.

How will drivers see?

That's on them. That's not Keith Ellison's area of expertise.

He's an expert in Being an Aggrieved Minority, and that's all the expertise any expert needs.

"We have to go upstream on crime and not just say we are going to only deal with the criminals, the people on the street. There are a lot of people involved in the chain of criminality, starting sometimes for people who are members of the country club, resulting in tragic circumstances for victims on the street," he continued.

Fuck you, filthy criminal scumbag and traitor.

++++
That would be Hyundai/Kia, where several model years of vehicles are in fact very easy to steal due to a design flaw combined with common kitted vehicle configurations.

But I don't think that qualifies as "attractive nuisance." They were not designed to be easy to steal, they *happen* to be easy to steal, and the manufacturer redesigned the component (the ignition, IIRC) when it came to light that this was becoming a serious problem.

Hyundai/Kia has a downright bad design. That is true. The explosion in car theft is not Hyundai/Kia's fault, however. That is the fault of the criminals, and the fault of malicious and evil men in government who have removed all consequences from those individuals, and radically shifted their cost/benefit (or risk/reward, if you prefer) analyses of the decision to steal a car.

There was once quite a comprehensive link as to just what Antifa was/is. It has been disappeared down the memory hole.
Antifa was a Communist Front organization founded by Joe Stalin (thanks Uncle Joe! - FDR) to fight "fascism" in Germany post The Great War, because the Bolsheviks on the street weren't winning.
From time to time in the 1920's, the Frei Corp (organized military vets from WWI) would have street fights with "Antifa" and other Bolsheviks. Sometimes the death toll was in the hundreds. Parts of the Frei Corp became part of the SA, then the SS.
The Black Block or Antifa (in Europe) is still quite a feared organization, when they show up at demonstrations. And remember, our emasculated European "Cousins" generally don't have firearms.

Murder as a political act is now an unprosecutable if the circumstances of race and location are considered. No jurisdiction would bother with a case that would be tossed by a commie judge or acquitted by a commie jury.

262 Does the Illinois parole board have a DEI chair?

Dunno. But it needs a fucking electric chair, that's for sure.

And for me to make that statement required a massive, MASSIVE ethical shift. I have always, always, always opposed the death penalty on the grounds that I don't trust the State that much.

Killed in the act by the victim or bystander? Good. Get dead.

Waiting 20 years on a conviction I'd rate as - at best - probable, and then being put to sleep the way we put down the dogs we so dearly love? Nope. No chance, paddles, no chance. I just can't trust the government enough to give them power over life and death in such a direct way. Not with the FBI Crime Lab Liars and the Unreliable Eyewitnesses. I've seen the government frame too many people without repercussion to be on board with letting that same government kill people for crimes it says they committed.

Now, though, I'm changing my position. I'm beginning to disagree with the idea that it's better to have a dozen guilty go free than to have one innocent in prison.

That innocent is starting to seem like the Cost of Doing Business, and I hate the left for making me consider it.

But to elect a guy to the state's top prosecutor role who is a provable abuser really showed the raw will to power of the DFL machine. Scary

264 Brand had six prior arrests for abusing and threatening this woman, had a conviction and sentenced to 16 years for "Home invasion, armed assault" at another woman's house, where he threatened to shoot her 16yo son...was under a "permanent Protective order" for assaulting this woman in 2009.
Though sentenced to 16years, with a Gun Crime modified sentence, he had only served 8 years.
I wanna see a picture of the Parole Board lady "Miller" that made this decision, wrote the Opinion Brief on it,, and the 2 other board members who concurred, apparently without actually reviewing the cases, or meeting the Parolee.

Wrong, Ace. Traditionally Americans don't steal cars (or horses) because it is wrong. Some people who are not deterred by that, are deterred by the threat of prison, or getting their sorry ass shot by a citizen or a cop. Not teaching people to the former means the only leverage you have is the latter.

You can have some nice things if you do the latter only. But you can't have actual civilization if you don't do the former.
