The Morning Report — 2/28/24

winsomelosemost.jpg

Good morning, kids. There are people who get it, and then there are people who get it. One of them happens to be the Lt. Gov of Virginia, Winsome Sears:

State Sen. "Danica" Roem, a man who identifies as a woman, stormed out of the chamber after making a parliamentary inquiry to Earle-Sears.

"Madame President, how many votes would it take to pass this bill with the emergency clause?" he asked Earle-Sears, who was presiding over the chamber.

"That would be four-fifths, senator," Earle-Sears replied.

"And what would be the exact number for that, Madam President?"

"Yes, sir, that would be 32," she replied.

A triggered Roem quickly relinquished his microphone and stormed out, and the chamber was forced to go into recess twice.

Earle-Sears refused to apologize but later addressed the issue when the Senate reconvened, acknowledging that she “said something that upset Sen. Roem.”

“Let it be known: I am not here to upset anyone,” Earle-Sears began. “I am here to do the job that the people of Virginia have called me to do, and that is to treat everyone with respect and dignity. I myself have, at times, not been afforded that same respect and dignity. But in this body, and as long as I am president of the Senate, and by the grace of God, I will be treated with respect and dignity. And I will treat everyone else with respect and dignity. . . ”

. . . Earle-Sears never specifically apologized to Roem, nor should she. Roem is a man, and calling him "Sir" was accurate. I don't care what he identifies as or what his "personal truth" is. I care about reality, and Roem can't force anyone to pretend he's a woman no more than he can force anyone to pretend he's a cat, an elf, or any sort of mythological creature. He is a human male.  Naturally, local Democrat groups were outraged.

I imagine some of you are not necessarily impressed with Sears' non-apology apology, preferring that she, for lack of a better expression, just called a spade a spade. That is, double down on calling a man "sir." In any case, Sears gets my respect for doing what she did in the first place.

Considering everything that's going on, is this perhaps focusing on something trivial? Not in my estimation. Andrew Breitbart of blessed memory stated correctly that politics is downstream from the culture. And even a cursory look around shows that we've lost the culture, big time. When these days we don't even flinch at the notion and sad fact of life that men in drag are allowed into girls locker rooms, and allowed to openly serve in our military, I'd say that that is a pretty solid indicator that we're circling the drain, with the Ty-D-Bowl man Drag Queen waving bye bye.

I bring this up because people like Winsome Sears are going to be our salvation, politically and culturally. Leaving aside the bastardization of the notion of America by the Left that "we're a nation of immigrants," I would say it takes an immigrant – a real, honest LEGAL immigrant who got here the old fashioned way by earning citizenship – to understand and appreciate this nation, its history, heritage and culture. These are the people who came here for a better life not to be given it to them on a silver platter via the welfare state but for the opportunity to work for it and build it. And in so doing, building a better more prosperous union.

And for Democrats and Leftists, that statement is the equivalent of showing the cross to Dracula. It's the last thing they want because independent, self-sufficient, law-abiding citizens who don't need government is not how Democrats and Leftists gain and maintain power.

The bitter irony of Winsome Sears being a naturalized citizen and not native born is that it disqualifies her from serving as VP under Trump or any pro-American, America first, non-globalist/statist candidate. It's too bad that attitude and patriotism are trumped (heh) by this technicality, because there are far too many natives who pale in comparison.

Take for instance this glittering jewel of dumb-fuckery:

House Budget Committee chairman Rep. Jodey Arrington (R-Texas) has said that raising taxes will be necessary to balance the federal budget. His comments will likely irritate President Trump and his team, given the pledge to make the Trump-era tax cuts a permanent fixture in a second Trump administration.

“It’s only fair to have both revenue and expenditures on the table,” Arrington told Semafor. “The last time there was a fix to Social Security that addressed the solvency for 75 years, it was Ronald Reagan and Tip O’Neill, and it was bipartisan. It had revenue measures and it had program reforms. That’s just the reality,” said Arrington, who led the charge to create a bipartisan fiscal commission to address government debt.

In January, 19 GOP members of the Budget Committee and three Democrats voted for a proposal to establish the commission, which Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La) supported. Both sides of the political aisle are already attacking the commission. Following the Budget Committee’s vote to establish the commission,

Democratic Rep. Lloyd Doggett (Texas) said: “There is a real concern out there that this commission will be called the ‘Cut Social Security Commission.’” A group of conservative organizations released a letter attacking the commission as a “trap designed to get Republican fingerprints on a tax increase in exchange for ‘spending cuts’ that never materialize.”

When in God's name are we actually going to take, not merely an axe, but a thermonuclear warhead to the size and scope of the Federal government?! If you answered "never," you win a cookie. Social Security should've been strangled in its infancy, but here it is and heaven forfend we throw granny off of the cliff in her wheelchair! Remember, the welfare state was originally created not for illegal aliens but for the citizenry by yet another junta led by FDR (with the initial aid from Hoover) who just couldn't let a crisis go to waste when it came to expanding the power of the state at the expense of individual prudence, ethics and ultimately liberty.

Just like Winsome Sears called out a mentally deranged drag queen "sir," what we need is a GOP that calls out taxation, spending and an ever-expanding governmental bureaucracy "cancer." We won't get that, of course because the GOP is the Grifting Oleaginous Parasite party.

Meanwhile, in another part of the forest, the rate at which Joey Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants' brain melts seems to be in direct proportion to the graft that is finding its way into his bank account:

. . . [So-called quote-unquote "president"] Joe Biden doesn’t want to confront China about their involvement in the fentanyl trade due to ties between major players in the fentanyl trade and people who have sent money to the Biden family.

[Blood Money author Peter] Schweizer said, “White Wolf is this very powerful figure. He is pro-CCP. He works with the Chinese government, but he’s the head of UBG, this gang. And this gang is widely recognized as the organization that made the Sinaloa Cartel the kings of fentanyl. They told them how to make it. They helped them get pill presses. They helped provide communication devices. So, the Chinese helped the Mexican cartels so they could communicate securely without the Americans knowing. And they also helped them launder their money. He was partners with this individual, the head of CEFC, who sent $5 million to the Bidens. So, the question, Jesse, is, does Joe Biden really want to have a conversation about Chinese involvement with fentanyl? I think we all know the answer is no based on this evidence.”

The Chi-Coms own Joey lock, stock and barrel. Just like the Ukrainians, Romanians, Russians, credit card companies, racketeers, mobsters and every other bad actor and crook, foreign and domestic, who for the past half century have bought access to his office, either directly or via family members like his brother and son.

And speaking of bribery and straight-up tyranny:

The Supreme Court told [spurious] President Joe Biden that he didn’t have the authority to forgive student loan debt. But he did anyway, bragging that the Court “didn’t stop me.” So why do we even have a legislative branch and a high court if the president is going to make law as if he were a king? . .

. . . If the president can capriciously set policy, not waiting for Congress to act and ignoring Supreme Court rulings, then the executive branch is no longer one of the separate but equal branches of government. It becomes a separate but predominant branch. . .

. . . If any Republican president had so egregiously and brazenly ignored a Supreme Court ruling, in essence telling the Court it is inferior to the presidency, the Democrats and the media would be constantly shrieking about the dangerous emergence of a “constitutional crisis.” They’ve done it before. In 2018, John Kerry, a Democrat who’s been in Washington almost as long, it seems, as the Washington Monument, claimed that the “off the rails” Trump White House constituted “a genuine constitutional crisis.” It was a typical tale from a Democrat, full of sound and fury, signifying deception.

But what Biden has done is more serious. Keith E. Whittington, a Princeton University professor of politics, identifies three types of constitutional crises: a crisis of operation, a crisis of fidelity and a crisis of bad faith. Biden’s constitutional offense could be placed in either of the last two categories. He is “no longer willing to abide by existing constitutional arrangements” and is clearly a political actor who has refrained “from repudiating the inherited constitutional system but nonetheless” subverted “it by only giving lip service to constitutional requirements.”

Remember (as if you need a reminder) that the rule of law goes only one way: against the citizenry and anyone who is non-Leftist. Should Donald Trump actually win this coming November, every legal executive order he will sign will be met with rank insubordination and outright mutiny in every agency from the top all the way down to the lowliest toilet attendant, if not met with violent protest from Robert Creamer's Central Committee Casting Rent-a-Mob. That's if an organized "Seven Days in May" coup doesn't actually materialize long before that. And the GOPe? They'll be first in line to rip him for unilateral action that defies the spirit of "bipartisanship."

As for Biden, he will in all likelihood never face the terrible swift sword of justice in this life for his acts graft and borderline treason in selling out this country to the highest bidder. For sure, the Lord in Heaven is doing a rapid finger tattoo on His desk in anticipation of his arrival for final judgement.

If this is authentic it should absolutely solidify the deity of Christ. I am inclined to believe it is real, or at least was written by a Roman, as the events described are as they would be from the Roman perspective.
It adds interesting details such as Pilate's precarious control over the local population, the payment to the "protestors" who surrounded the palace and demanded crucifixion, and the placement of 100 soldiers to guard Jesus' tomb, and the lead soldiers eyewitness account of the resurrection.

I remember back during the 80's, we did a port visit and liberty call in Haifa.

Several of us hiked from the Port all the way up to the top of the city, passing through small communities and play-lots along the way.

shat struck me was the number of long-gun armed parents setting at the play-lots, prepared to take defensive positions over the kids if need be.

Yet at the same time, enjoying life itself.

That will stay with me the rest of my life.

65 At this point, I really don’t care whether or not social security is “conservative”… at least it goes to American citizens (wouldn’t shock me if some illegals cheat to get it). So it should not be cut by even one cent. Stop all the foreign aid and MIC grift first. Allow younger workers to invest their own SS funds and slowly reform the program that way. But no way it should be first on the chopping block with all the money wasted on other things by the fed gov

I saw something recently that a family that has four children (in some Nordic area) is free from taxation the rest of their lives.

I've proposed that those who have no children should not receive Social Security. The system only 'works' with a ratio of 2.2 people paying for every recipient. If you're not having children you're doing nothing to provide those 2.2 people and you're saving about half a million dollars per child not born.

Whatever the case, those of us who have paid into that mess for 30 - 40 years are not ashamed to claw back as much of it as we can. As long as Social Security exists anyone who has paid into it will want their cut when eligible unless something takes its place.

But the bottom line is that people will want the money "promised" to them however it was collected.

I read deeply into this years ago. The program and the SC case were exact parallels to the socialized medicine debate in 2009. FDR literally made the case during the argument that the program was a pension scheme at one point in the case, and that it was just a tax increase later, and the court bought it.

175
When social security was enacted in the 1940's or so it was a different America. Family size was larger, homes were smaller.

It was not a Ponzi scheme to imagine that 3 people would pay toward one recipient. But as family size has gotten smaller the number is now around 2.2 payers per recipient. I think the latest birth data puts family size as having 1.9 children.

That is the rope around the neck of the system. The wealthier we have become the fewer children we want.

That's the thing, though. Most of what drives a person to come here legally also drives them to respectfully put the place they fled on the back burner because it sucked enough that they fled it. Honoring memories and history of your ancestors is not a bad thing. Everyone came from somewhere and someone.

Illegals are bringing their culture here. They couldn't care less about America or American ideals.

Heck, the majority of Americans probably couldn't agree on what being an American meant these days. They can tell you about Black History Month or Gay Pride Day or all the things meant to separate us into tribes, though.

He’s basically a depressed old man because absolutely nothing he did had any impact on the country (except for a couple of temporary changes to welfare). My opinion is that libertarians sided with the social liberals on the sexual revolution and a big part of the shit we are in is because simply viewing people as economic units as libertarians do completely overlooks the virtue part. Murray apparently came to the same conclusion.

228 And the trust fund that is broke in 2033 is just a stack of paper.

There has never been a Social Security "Trust Fund". The Social Security tax money is simply destroyed as is all Federal Tax Money. From an accounting standpoint Social Security taxes are considered the same as income taxes. Seriously, all of you need to figure out how Fiat money systems actually work.

Everyone here knows that when the government prints a $100 bill that money is created out of thin air. Nobody seems to understand that when money is taxed (at the federal level) out of circulation, it goes back into the same thin air it came out of.

NO? OK, where are the banks where all of that treasury income is deposited? How come they aren't guarded like Fort Knox? There would be Trillions of dollars in them, which is way more than the dollar amount of gold in federal gold depositories. Why aren't there Army divisions guarding those Treasury cash depositories? You say those depositories are in computers? Why has nobody ever been arrested for trying to hack them? You would think Trillions of Dollars would attract some thieves.

Why?

The federal budget was increased from $1.827 trillion to $4.439 trillion in 25 years. But 2023 was a comparatively cheap year considering the tech wreck, financial crisis, wars and COVID of the intervening period.

In 1998, the US federal debt was around $5.5 trillion, or about 61% of GDP. In 2023, it was around $33.2 trillion, or 121% of GDP.

Sort of. Party Men and their allies of momentary convenience are above any consideration of law, and above any punishment (usually - sometimes the Party will sacrifice a low-level operator to keep up appearances, but those are the risks of the game for a Party Man). Those who are *not* Party men are subject to the law, but it is vague and arbitrary. Some people get punished, some don't. Some people are unlucky, some people are lucky. Some leftist might get a Party Man to confer upon him temporary invulnerability, some might not.

The anti-Party Men are universal targets for weaponized "law" (Jan6, etc.). You can be outside the Party and take your chances, but being *against* the Party means no chance.

There are two absolute positions. The Party Men and their allies are immune to the law, and the anti-Party Men are viciously and aggressively ground down and destroyed by the law. Those in the vast middle just have arbitrary and indifferent application of law hanging over them like the Sword of Damocles.

284 INBOX: Marianne Williamson says she’s “unsuspending” her presidential campaign:

Dear Friends,

As of today, I am unsuspending my Presidential campaign.

All of us have noticed America’s political dynamics are moving in a disturbing direction. Donald Trump’s power is on the incline, and President Biden’s is on the decline. More and more people are saying the quiet part out loud: that despite the fact that the President deserves credit for many of his accomplishments, he is clearly a weak candidate to defeat Donald Trump in 2024.

I, however, am not. My ability to arouse in Americans the angels of our better nature is the most powerful antidote to Trump’s dark and authoritarian vision.

I suspended my campaign because we were losing the horse race. But there is something much bigger than the horse race that’s at stake here. In the words of Mohammed Ali, ‘When the mission is right, the odds don’t matter.”

We cannot sit idly by while the D.C. political class sleepwalks this country into disaster. Too many have followed the directives of the status quo for too long, but we are awakening now.

296 Dear Friends,

Speaking of mental illness....

302 I've proposed that those who have no children should not receive Social Security. The system only 'works' with a ratio of 2.2 people paying for every recipient. If you're not having children you're doing nothing to provide those 2.2 people and you're saving about half a million dollars per child not born.

312 ". . . such are the entirely predictable results of a top-down, dictatorial economy. It's good to see the auto industry adjusting to that reality."

The reality is that the stringent EPA regulations and standards for fuel economy and emissions have not been changed. In January 2025, they kick in and that is when the auto industry will either have met them with their fleet or they will be paying massive fines (for not meeting fuel economy target) or be banned from selling vehicles altogether (for not meeting emissions target).

That is the sole reason for the auto industry going all-in on EVs. The WEF Agenda 2030 policies that have been implemented in every Western nation in the world, including in the USA through the EPA.

Because of this, the auto industry as a whole is in a no-win situation. They either go all-in with vehicles customers do not want (and go out of business) or they get fined out of business or banned from selling vehicles (and go out of business). Which is the plan by the WEF and Deep State. Which leads to hundreds of thousands of people unemployed across the auto companies and suppliers.

Posted by: Bulgaroctonus at February 28, 2024 08:59 AM (9yWhg)
++++
"Superpercentage" as a concept is derived from taxonomic structures like "group" and "subgroup" or "superset" and "set."

Taxonomic organization in language is an artifact of white supremacy and represents a perpetuation of colonialism that is definitionally oppressive.

We must decolonize the language, yes, but it is even more important to decolonize knowledge. Hierarchical categorization, taxonomy and their concepts of a low-resolution "general" eventually becoming a high-resolution "specific" through continued layers of classification represents intellectual and mental colonization. This must be fought at every step.

Be better.

This is the description of Jesus by a priest whom Jesus confided in frequently, written before the start of his ministry: While he is nothing but a man, there is something about him that distinguishes him from every other man. He is the picture of his mother, only he has not her smooth round face. His hair is a little more golden than hers, though it is as much from sunburn as anything else* He is tall^ and his shoulder^ are a little drooped ; his visage is thin and of a swarthy complexion, though this is from exposure; His eyes are large and a soft blue, and rather dull and heavy. The lashes are long, and his eye-brows very large. His nose is that of a Jew. In fact, he reminds me of an old-fashioned Jew in every sense of the word •

326 Biden picked up 81% of a relatively large Democratic turnout, given the fact that he's really the only candidate. The other two in the race are tokens, not really representing anything...Haley took away more votes than Trump can afford to lose in Michigan, and most of those voters won't vote for Trump in November. The Democratic side isn't as divided, or as fragmented, as the media wants you to believe.

the primaries are showing that Benedict Donald is in trouble, but Benedict has the MSM on his side that is still pushing Biden's age and the ridiculous talking point that he should drop out. It is the Magat party that should consider running another candidate. Benedict also has Putin's pal Musk running Russian propaganda all over social media. I am confident that Joe wins comfortably in a fair election.

Haley got approximately (from my understanding) 250k votes and yes, uncommitted votes against shithole was approximately 30K. But alas like clockwork, corporate media ran with uncommitted against Pres Biden and again giving shithole a pass.

Regarding SS….. every dollar spent and distributed by fed gov now is a magic, fake dollar anywhere printed out of thin air. I no longer believe the 40 year narrative about deficits…. Since Carter I’ve heard conservative pundits wailing about how bad deficits are…. I’ve yet to see any collapse. Economic theory says a collapse is inevitable….. but inevitable could be in 200 years. I don’t care about deficits anymore…… I do care however what the money is used for. Funding Ukraine and other grift,.. a hard no. Paying back citizens who spent their entire life paying into SS…. A hard yes

Posted by: LinusVanPelt at February 28, 2024 09:12 AM (Dd+/6)

390 The video i referenced earlier led me to a book "The archeological writings of the Sanhedrin..." which is a compendium of scrolls written during the lifetime of Jesus. This is the description of Jesus by a priest whom Jesus confided in frequently, written before the start of his ministry:

-

That reminds me, I tracked down the writing I was looking for a month or so ago. Quadratus:

"But the works of our Savior were always present, for they were true: those that were healed, and those that rose from the dead who were seen not only when they were healed and when they were raised but were constantly present; and not only while the Savior was living, but even after he had gone they were alive for a long time, so that some of them survived even to our own time."

Presented to Hadrian somewhere around 125 BC. I read that it's speculated the miracles performed on the people changed their bodies and gave them longer lives in order to be able to tell others what had happened to them.

It *is* welfare. Legally. SCOTUS made that clear. Social Security is a welfare program masquerading as an annuity. They send out their statements and show pay-in and pay-out, but none of it legally matters in the slightest. You're taxed and, per the terms of the program, you get some of it (or much more of it) back later. But that's just current rules. None of it is set in stone and it is *not* a pension scheme. It has never been a pension scheme. That was always, since day zero, a lie.

But that lie makes it work. Nobody would contribute a dime toward a welfare scheme? Of course not. That's why it's not a contribution, it's a tax.

But substitutions to save money have to be made, so it tastes close to the original. Then do that again, except it tastes close to the first substitution. After seven or eight copies it's no longer anywhere near the original.

432 Pension funds. Endowments. Insurance companies. Foreign buyers. For any unsold bonds, the Fed created reserves, credited those new dollars to banks, and required the banks to use the magic money to buy federal debt.

So those Pension funds, Endowments, Insurance companies, and Foreign buyers had $34 Trillion and decided that instead of investing in Industry, where it would return a higher income and fuel the economy, that they would Loan it to the government because Joe Biden, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, and Jamie Raskin strike them as such a good risks. Is that what you want me to believe?

433 I think she did pay in some pitifully small amount. But got benefits for the rest of her life. No spot in hell hot enough for FDR.

I sit corrected. She paid in for three years - and collected for over three decades.

True wisdom comes when you realize they were the smart ones because the savers like us will have to burn through all of our sacrifices when it's time to enter the nursing home, and they lived two or three stations higher than they should've by never saving a penny.

but they'll be in the same nursing home.

437 David Harsanyi is good at this finger-waggling shit. His mistake is in thinking lefties care about debates.

Conservatives often chalk up this kind of ignorance about civics to a declining education system. It's not an accident. It's true that Przybyla, a longtime leftist propagandist -- and I don't mean a biased reporter; I mean a propagandist whose reporting is often transparently ludicrous -- followed up her MSNBC appearance with an embarrassing clarification. But even if Przybyla were fluent in the philosophy of natural rights, one strongly suspects she, like most progressives (and other statists), would be uninterested. It's a political imperative to be uninterested.

If natural rights are truly inalienable, how can the government create a slew of new (positive) "rights" -- the right to housing or abortion or health care or free birth control? And how can we limit those who "abuse" free expression, self-defense, and due process if they are up to no good? You know, as Joe Biden likes to say -- when speaking about the Second Amendment, never abortion -- no right "is absolute."

Well, they have regulatory mandates in many cases to invest at least some of their money in fixed income investments, and they also have income needs (to pay benefits), so, yes, that's what I believe is true.

They invest in productive equity investments, too.

439 GM, all, & thank you, J.J.

Winsome Sears is fabulous & a blessing to VA. Dem. Abigail Spanberger, reported to be a centralist, 1st to throw her hat into the ring for Governor, to succeed Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin in 2025. (Virginia Constitution prohibits a governor from serving two consecutive terms.)

From above, "Here is my request to our American friends." Adir, the Second of My 3 Sons, Fell in Battle on October 7. So beautifully written, it's a story of such deep lose but also such promise, I think I'll be with me, in my heart, always.

"Summer Lee Cancels CAIR Speech, Still Praises the Pro-Hamas Group." Reportedly raised in the tiny borough of North Braddock, PA; has Juris Doctor from Howard University; Democratic Socialists of America "backing," all in with Progressive Dems: AOC, Cori Bush, Jamaal Bowman, etc. And PA Muslim pop. in Philly & expanding in-state, has effect.

>Religion News, Aug. '23 Opinion, Black Muslims will play a big role in the next election. Join us. Black Muslims helped elect Joe Biden president and are gearing up for 2024.

I fear FJB has been picked & played for more than a decade: "If they do it with you, they'll do it to you."

440 "Ah say! Ah say! There's too much misgendering goin' on 'round heah!"

Well, yeah. There's a lot of "misgendering" going on, but not by the likes of Winsome Sears. It's being done by the trans-alphabet people themselves. Every dude who claims to be a woman and vice versa is doing the "misgendering," if that's even a word.

441 Any grown adult that gets so bent out of shape by being called something that they feel misgenders them that they have to storm out of a legislative chamber is demonstrating a lack of maturity or such a severe case of mental illness that they probably belong in a mental hospital.

If someone inadvertently called me "Ma'am" or called a bunch of us "ladies" (like my USMC Senior Drill Instructor did), I could not justify any reaction greater than mild annoyance that I wouldn't bother to display.

442 The Hill - today - Hunter Biden opens impeachment testimony: ‘I did not involve my father in my business’

In part, “I am here today to provide the committees with the one uncontestable fact that should end the false premise of this inquiry: I did not involve my father in my business. Not while I was a practicing lawyer, not in my investments or transactions domestic or international, not as a board member, and not as an artist. Never,” Biden said during his opening statement."

Is this not identical to what he's stated in the past? And, again I note in particular, "Not when I was a practice lawyer... "

Were the questions asked in return, "How about as a Lobbyist?, his career. Or, "Through any Equity firms?" "Via Blind Trust?" "How about family S corporations, non-profits and/or any other non-profit including healthcare oriented?"

443 WATCH: Anti-Israel Protesters Shut Down Event Hosted by Jewish Students at UC Berkeley, Break Glass Doors

In the not-so-far-back olden days, folks who did stuff like this would be shot dead while they were doing it. Those that supported them would be fairly warned of the used of violence, those that shot them would be considered heros.

With this admin? With Kalifornia's admin? They WANT to see this violence, while disarming their enemies.
