Here is a devotional based on the passage from the Book of Isaiah. It is appropriate for any interested Christian as well as Jews and contains a prayer after the devotional it has to deal with endings that become beginnings.

And pretty much ONLY Charleston county.

OK, Charleston, Beaufort and Columbia.

Trump ass-stomped Nasty Nikki statewide, of course. No contest. But Nasty Nikki indeed won 3 counties, Richland (which contains Columbia, capital and Good Ole Boy HQ, what gave Miss Lindsey the Strom Seat), Beaufort and Charleston.

No biggie. Nasty Nikki besides losing her home state bigly, lost both her home counties bigly as well. Bamburg, in which she was born, and Lexington, form which she first launched her state political career as a state representative.

Giving Miss Lindsey the Strom seat was like giving Pee Wee Herman that He-Man Atilla the Hun chair or something. I do not know why the Good Ole Boys in Columbia decided to give that to Miss Lindsey.

J. Strom Thurmond, a legend (who granted a condemned murderess her last request, for a one hell of J. Strom rogerin' before she went to the death house) accumulated one hell of a "constituent services machine" over his years in public office.

That is, say "Sosh Securitee" is giving a hard time 'bout yo' benefits what you dee-serve. Ol' J. Strom's office would fix that up for you (and on purpose, I think Sosh-security was ordered to fuck up such shit so your senator could fix it for you).

Miss Lindsey was given that machine by the South Carlackey 'Stablisment for whatever reason.

Botulism is a food-borne illness that comes from a bacteria that is found in most types of soil and thus on many root vegetables or bulbs such as garlic. Botulism grows in airless environments which is why storing homemade garlic oil at room temperatures can cause it to grow. Water on or in the garlic supports the growth of botulism bacteria that can then make you sick. Children and older adults are more susceptible to botulism poisoning, but people of any age can get it.

Peanut 'butter' could have the same tendency.

You know Sally Quinn, the "doyenne" of the Washington party circuit, and just about the only recently modern use of the word "doyenne". Her husband was Ben Bradlee of the Washington Post Watergate fame.

Well, before that, ol' J. Strom holds a certain distinction. He goosed, grab-assed, a mother and daughter at the same time, young Sally and her Mama at some dinner party in the '50s or early '60s, in his hayday.

J. Strom siddled up between Sally and her Mama at that party, and just goosed 'em from behind, maybe even reached up around and grabbed 'em both, mother and daughter, by the snizz, at the same time.

You think I'm shittin' you. Ol' Sally wrote about it, and confirmed that it happened.

That was the Legen of J. Strom Thurmond. Now, giving his "seat" to Miss Lindsey, well WTF. It makes no sense.

In his latter days, J. Strom got a touch of the Biden "cognitive decline". But this is the J. Strom of his prime.

I didn't mix it enough, I guess. Now what's left, about 25% of the jar, is pretty thick stuff, hard to spread. Is it possible to mix a little olive oil with it? I have that, and don't want to buy another oil if I don't have to. Ideas?

Is the war propping up the numbers so that the Biden Administration can show a less weak economy than would otherwise be?

194 Morning.

Wife and I did a trip to Virginia City with the grands yesterday.
For some reason we thought it would be cheaper than a trip to McDonalds with the play place.
Wrong. Oh so wrong.
Youngest grand (3) gets a plastic sword at a shop. We are walking down the boardwalk and he decides to use it to stop 3 drop dead gorgeous brunettes.
"None shall pass" They laugh.
"L. If you don't stop that I'm going to take it away."
"Here Papa. Take it. I just can't control myself."
They bust up laughing.

198 No, but there are certain items prone to botulism. Green beans are the main killer (they need to be canned it a pressure canner).

We don't eat the shells of the peanuts. That's the part that gets dirty. Aflatoxin is an issue with peanuts. I am willing to bet that peanut butter is pressure canned and adding a bit of water to it is safe.

Commonly with hydrazines as fuel, the oxidizers of choice have been fuming or concentrated nitric acid HNO3, nitrogen oxides NOx, and concentrated H2O2. All of these are liquids and will keep a long time for use in positioning thrusters. All are toxic and corrosive, as is the hydrazine. So there's the toxic residues in Chynese rockets, possibly.

I think the illegals are given the proper forms for use at the DMV's to get driver's licenses too. "Resident Card" is what it's called. Either temporary or permanent.

It's one of the forms the dozens of Hispanics had when I was at the DMV last week. Some are getting Real ID's with them.

It makes sense if you put yourself into her shriveled, ferally ambitious mindset that exists within a closed circle of her equally pathogenic political cohort. She has totally thrown her lot in with the forces arrayed against Trump and overestimates their power just as she underestimates and disdains the actual people (or conservative base).
