Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Tom Cotton to Woke, Anti-White Job Recruiters: You Know, Discriminating Against Members of One Race is Illegal, Right?Tom Cotton is putting recruiting firms that discriminate against white men on notice that they are breaking the law. Arkansas Republican Sen. Tom Cotton sent letters Thursday to ten recruiting firms regarding their diversity quota hiring practices after reporting revealed that recruiting firms are conspiring with companies to exclude "non-diverse" candidates from the hiring pool. The Daily Caller first obtained the letters to the following ten different recruiting firms: Robert Half, Kelly Services, Randstad North America, Korn Ferry, ManpowerGroup, Egon Zehnder, Spencer Stuart, Heidrick & Struggles, Russell Reynolds Associates and Diversified Search Group. In the letters, Cotton calls on the firms to refuse any request to racially discriminate while recruiting. "Compliance with DEI mandates may violate federal law. Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, for example, prohibits private employers from basing hiring decisions on race. A member of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission ('EEOC') has warned that 'diversity programs pose both legal and practical risks for companies,'" Cotton wrote in the letters.A group is preparing to sue MIT for rejecting more-qualified male applicants in favor of less-qualified female ones. The alumni have formed a nonprofit called FairAdmissions@MIT and currently seek male plaintiffs rejected by MIT despite "top SAT/ACT scores, great grades, strong recommendations, and substantial extra-curricular activities," the group's website states. "This is about a return to meritocracy," said a member of the group who asked to remain anonymous for fear of possible retaliation against him for organizing the litigation. "The entire political center of the institution has shifted so far left, and this is directly correlated," he said. "The point is to treat applicants as individuals, not as members of an identity group."DEI is a luxury corporations indulge in times of plenty. But now, in the Bidenomics Economy, they're cutting back on Luxury Virtue Signaling. For some reason. I don't understand. The Democrat Media Propoganda State keeps telling me this is a Miracle Economy. And on that: Blackrock just announced its own layoffs. Most of these will come from their ESG division. (ESG -- Environmental, Social, Governance investing -- pours money into nonprofitable woke corporations that push DEI.)

Let me advise you what these racially discriminatory practices are doing. They're creating racial discrimination. People are now presuming "diverse" graduates are less qualified than "non-diverse" because people aren't stupid. They realize many of these graduates didn't become who they are based on merit, but because they're "diverse". Fair or not, reap what you sow.

People demand base-level competence.
It's just a matter of how long incompetence takes to surface and be remedied in one way or another. In a foxhole, incompetence gets you or your buddy dead quickly. In corporate life, incompetent people can be shifted around and covered for for quite a long time until eventually the incompetents find themselves in a critical mass in one unit or another, and their work product is so bad it can't be ignored any longer. DEI breeds intolerable incompetence. It's just taken 10 or so years in earnest for it all to start crashing down. Posted by: ballistic at January 12, 2024 03:38 PM (oqH4h) 75

There's a system's analysis phrase coined by Stafford Beer who said, "The purpose of a system is what it does." It's an interesting way of thinking. Instead of burdening yourself by taking in all the historical information of what a system was supposed to be and all of the many changes and iterations its gone through, simply determine what it DOES. What are all of the direct and secondary and tertiary effects? If one applies this school of thought to most government, the purpose of its systems is sinister. I know many of you have soured on Trump...perhaps Daily Kos has analysis that might sweeten the deal?
Pro-Trump Republican senators angle to replace McConnell if Trump wins...as a potential successor to McConnell, Barrasso's high-profile endorsement stands in stark contrast to the neutrality of Sen. John Thune of South Dakota, McConnell's right-hand man and another potential heir to the throne. ...in Trumplandia, neutrality is traitorous. House Republican leaders have made clear they are all-in for Trump. Senate holdouts appear to represent the last stand by non-MAGA Republicans. Sen. Murkowski, "There is room for an alternative to Trump versus Biden if we make that space." Sen. Ernst of Iowa, "I just have to remain neutral through the caucuses." If McConnell was truly running the show, Thune would be the heir apparent. But Barrasso appears to be positioning himself as the conference’s most broadly acceptable pro-Trump alternative. That would put the Senate Republican caucus—the last vestige of reality-based thinking in the Republican Party—firmly within Trump's grip. Saying no woman is qualified when half the men are paying for their rides and nepotism like the Dillon brothers.

Seriously though... young, hetero patriots are the military's main demo. If you're one of those, what the actual fuck would possess you to join the armed forces, so some buttfucking Communist in a dog costume can send you to take a bullet bringing home the Big Guy's 10%?
It's no mystery why recruiting is off. Posted by: Yudhishthira's Dice at January 12, 2024 04:17 PM (0FoWg) That's not the worst of it. Milley's already said that he would inform the Chinese military if we, you know, Americans, were about to undertake any aggressive or military actions against them. So, tell me- would you want to fight under the command of a general who has promised to let your potential enemy know when and where and how they will be attacked- ie. a general who's treason is painting a target right on your back so the enemy can easily kill you. Madness. Posted by: naturalfake at January 12, 2024 04:36 PM (nFnyb) 317
190 Watch Joe Biden's eyes in this clip. He hasn't got a single clue where he is or what's happening.
____ Oh yeah he does. Wait until you see Morgan Sherman walk up. Tall blonde. The owner directing Biden knew the look in Biden's eyes and he was protecting his employee. Posted by: Chuck Martel at January 12, 2024 04:48 PM (fs1hN) 318
de Tocqueville also thought our regularly mandated elections were genius: the founders realized that all the gods we think we are electing really have feet of clay. He had seen the results, with kings and Napoleon, etc. I guess people Obama was a god too.
To me that's why elections are so important and in so much danger now. Posted by: PJ at January 12, 2024 04:52 PM (G1dq6) 319
>>> Has anyone here seen the SpiritAero team video? SpiritAero makes parts, like doors, for Boeing airplanes, among others.
Thread about them on X. It's what you'd expect. http://tinyurl.com/ya5v65em Posted by: Martini Farmer at January 12, 2024 04:11 PM (Q4IgG) A lot of Spirit used to just be Boeing. Like Boeing Wichita. All shut down, cut apart, and sold off. I'm sure some accountants got fat bonuses from all that. I've heard of so many problems with Spirit. Things most people don't know about. They do. It's a clear, black-letter violation. Race-based hiring - outside of the narrow (and still wrong) EEOC incentives (Affirmative Action) - is illegal per my understanding.
So is sex-based hiring. Or sexuality-based hiring. Or disability-based hiring. These are things that legally *shouldn't* factor into hiring decisions - not things that *dictate* hiring decisions. Posted by: Joe Mannix (Not a cop!) at January 12, 2024 04:08 PM (Zp1WF) == Affirmative Action I believe is by Executive Order for Defense Contractors. SOme of that has spilled out beyond that - and DEI was a total spill out. It is all illegal under the CR 64. There are no provisions for it in the statute. Administrative State opining cannot include it. We were willing to put up with it for the stupidity of 1950s race relations, but it was always illegal. DEI discriminates against the majority (even those who are a apart of it and think they are not). This has made everyone realize it is time for it to end. The law is race (and all the other categories) to be a neutral aspect to employment decisions (and some others, employment is Title 7 I believe). It's all going to end - soon. Posted by: Lemmiwinks at January 12, 2024 04:30 PM (aLrRO) It was a bit worse, as they found out that most of the production sold out was coming from a minority of more skilled energetic farmers that were nicknamed Kulaks. Seeing a 'class struggle' out in the farms they killed the Kulaks. Excess production for the cities cratered so they took what the cities needed anyway. Thus the less productive peasants starved to death, especially in the Ukraine. A defector Officer talked in an amusing book about how he became an officer in the late 50s. In the huge communal farms almost nothing was produced on the major fields, but each farmer family had a small garden plot that produced just about everything for them plus to sell to the cities. One year in an involved way he obtained a tankload of fertilizer for free and put it on the plot, which killed his crop. Facing starvation himself he had to bribe his way into the army (since peasants were not allowed to join the army). Posted by: Oldcat at January 12, 2024 05:49 PM (eoQWY) 322

Tom Cotton to Woke, Anti-White Job Recruiters: You Know, Discriminating Against Members of One Race is Illegal, Right?
Tom Cotton is putting recruiting firms that discriminate against white men on notice that they are breaking the law. Whoopdee-fucking-doo. There have been laws on the books for at least 2 decades stating that entering the country illegal is... illegal. Not enforced. Laws stating that companies hiring illegal aliens is illegal. Not enforced. There are laws on the books for most crimes in inner cities. Not enforced. If you do not enforce all laws equally, then none of the laws matter. The reason that companies are full-speed ahead with D.I.E. the last few years is because the Marxist Left has all the power and there is no one in a position of influence to stop them. Long March succeeded. This stuff is just the boot on our necks for next few generations. Posted by: Clyde Shelton at January 12, 2024 08:51 PM (AaCDb) 324
