Weak or interrupted flow of urine.
Urinating often, especially at night.
Trouble emptying the bladder completely.
Pain in the back, hips, or pelvis that doesn’t go away.

If I got sick and took off work without telling my boss, I'd be in trouble and I'd probably get fired for it if it came out that I *could* have notified him but didn't.
If I got hit by a bus and was incapacitated or something, then I doubt I'd be fired for failing to provide notice. But if the boss-man learned that I could have done so but just chose not to, I strongly suspect that I'd be fired. My being fired in that case would also be justified.

Last couple of years they have been cleaning house of a LOT of Senior Military. Flat out firing them for reasons such as 'loss of confidence' in command ability.
I worked Staff for a couple years in the Navy... as the Admiral once told me... 'Staff IS Policy'. When you hit that level, your decisions are basically just choosing between which plan your staff gives you, you will go with. So crappy staff equals crappy command.
But then, we've seen the degradation of the military... hell, just look at the damn rust on Navy ships.

If I got hit by a bus and was incapacitated or something, then I doubt I'd be fired for failing to provide notice. But if the boss-man learned that I could have done so but just chose not to, I strongly suspect that I'd be fired. My being fired in that case would also be justified.

It's unlikely I'd be fired for a first offense, but I'd definitely get a stern talking-to from my boss. Repeated offenses would get me fired for sure.
We've had this conversation with some of our student workers who have proven to be less than reliable when they are supposed to show up for work.

Real problem is he HAS STAFF. And no doubt checked into Bethesda, which is a MILITARY HOSPITAL.

About 3 months after I started working full time I had to have emergency surgery for a bowel-obstruction. Naturally, one of the first things I did was to notify my boss at the time. I didn't have much vacation or sick-leave saved up, so I had to work with my department to sort that out as best I could.

I'm speaking to the choir, of course, but I cannot believe that if the media even approached being honest brokers of the news, there is any way a Democrat could prevail.

I used to get ticked off at Rush when he would say that the media are who they are, we just have to work around them. The first part of that was true. But things are so out of hand now, I don't think the second is possible.

My HVAC and roofing guys are on it and do it right. My handyman is slow (e.g., he might not be coming in for a month), but he's reliable and keeps his schedule.
