Brains tend to not fully mature until 20+ years (especially in males). But then toss in some hormone blockers that affect all sorts of bodily functions during critical growth years and it's not too shocking that mental development might also be affected.

But this is an interesting comment regardless of what he does. It's similar to some of the comments about Musk when it comes to various policies, and around Lex Wexner when it comes to Jeff Epstein.
The government and power structure are so completely degraded now that conversation and speculation about what comes next is decreasingly about "will of the people" or "right and wrong" or "law" and increasingly about the affiliations and alignments of the oligarchs.
I think people realize - whether consciously or not - that this is the way things work now. "Which oligarch wants what" is now a meaningful and important consideration when discussing policies and actions.

Diversity of methodology can be useful. Diversity in how people think is useful. They can come at problems in a different way. The 'new eyes' kind of approach. It also helps when checking whether your reasoning is good to include someone who does not think exactly like you.
Diversity of skin color though, I do not see how that is inherently useful and it would be kind of racist to say it would be.

Well, she did come back a day later and said we should try again. So we played for about an hour, Dolley bristling at every dice roll that went against her and getting pissed at me when I took half of the Pyke Isles, and it's been sitting on our dining room table in between turns since the weekend. We'll get back to it Saturday or so. I hope.

That may not be a tranny thing. That particular construction was becoming common well before tranny madness.
It was the result of the PC crowd (the feminists, at that time) assaulting the masculine inclusive pronoun. Mixed groups or groups of unknown composition in English - like in Spanish - get the masculine pronoun. This is bad, because it demeans women or something.
So, the perfectly sensible and acceptable old-type sentence involving a person of unknown sex would be: "The person picked up his keys and walked to the car."
But in PC land, it had to be: "The person picked up his or her keys and walked to the car."
But that's stupid and nobody will ever speak that way and nobody wants to write that way, either. So the crutch work-around is: "The person picked up their keys and walked to the car."
This is, of course, incorrect but it's the kludge that developed to appease the PC crowd and avoid extremely awkward constructions.

Oligarchy suffers from an effect like the tragedy of the commons does in land use. When a common area is declared it tends to be stripped because everyone has instant needs and nobody owns it, so future use is ignored. A tyrant or king at least needs to keep the country intact to pass on to his heirs and he owns it all. Oligarchs don't so they tend to strip mine and plan to run off with the loot. Similarly, the worst colonies were the ones where the colonizers went home with the proceeds rather than planning to live permanently in the colony.

I did. Except everyone cheated like motherfuckers so it was pointless to play any more. I once rammed my battleship into the holes diagonally, which I maintain wasn't cheating but clever strategy. Then I stuck it straight up so it occupied just one hole. Ok ok, that was probably cheating.

As kids, a friend and I got bored of the ordinary version and decided to create a variation where you could move your unhit ships after each turn.

Nice. I have a very fancy and intricate chess set that's a standalone table that my g-mom got me years ago when I first moved into NYC. Problem is, the pieces are so intricate and detailed (and big) that they're hard to play with if you are used to the usual Steiner pieces.

Yup. And in NY you get 'tenure' after 2 years. Then you have to dismember a kid in the hall to get fired. My cousins retired very well as NY teachers. But they still said the job was Sooooo hard. Gees. I asked them once what they thought "tenure" was worth each year in dollars. 10K? 20K?. You cant be fired. What's that worth? Crickets. The principal has to give you 45 days notice (I think) before they can observe you in class....unbelievable.

I know quite a few adults who play D&D. Not incels or dorks or losers at all. I still buy the manuals and game books out of curiosity, but I don't play any more. I was a DM back in the day.

Older men don't realize how F'd up the modern sexual relations are with the advent of online dating. Throw in the metoo, gender role confusion and frankly a society that says women can do no wrong and it's a shitty situation.
Even average looking guys have a hard time with the women who have become extremely picky.
