On the back porch here, it's about 28F. But it can be a couple degrees cooler around, since the house is sort of in a cool spot due to a creek bed nearby.

If any of you watch "How It's Made", most of the process is fully automated, including the packaging. Each bag is even x-rayed before it's shoved into the box. That process is done by machine as well. Sounds like a Tylenol type tampering.
