I've never seen that angle of the castle. I've only seen the standard view of it. I didn't even know it had a courtyard.

Not exactly. That's the story, Disney modeled the castle at Disney World (Land?) after that real castle. I know guys who visited the real place when I was in Germany, but I don't think they served beer there, so I never bothered.

Most pictures are 'straight on' from where you walk up.
You have to have shot from a drone to get the one shown.
If you look for pic of the castle some of them show you the distance from the courtyard entrance to the castle proper; but, you have to look back and forth between the front and side views.

149 Most assembly-line or packaging robots are not "visual" like us. There may be physical guards-- such as fencing or plexiglas barriers, or 'light curtains' and/or infrared or laser sensors to stop robotic motion if light beams broken.

In large robotics, usually areas are fenced-off or guidelines painted so that human w*rkers can see where to avoid.

Engineers often are in charge of programming & reprogramming, so perhaps this engineer was within the boundary of motion while making adjustment(s) & testing, but simply screwed up somehow.

I understand actually living in one of those castles isn't what you'd think. Cold, smelly (poor santiation), shabby outside the few rooms used, badly designed. The kitchens were often distant from the living quarters so food always arrived cold.

Just to look at the structure, one would think that the poured concrete structure would have been almost impossibly complex, but the building isn't what it appears to be externally. It is actually a fairly massive steel structure, with all sorts of prefab stuff, using all sorts of prefab materials and structural stuff to embellish things.

Doubtful. Too complex (read: expensive) for common vison systems. Cameras are generally fixed-position. Hapless, chunky guy would've been *where he shouldn't be* to get thunked by robot

We can see (pun not intended, but will take it!) with doorbell cams, that human eyes/brains are required to make the connection known as recognition.

The camera "knows" nothing, it merely receives and transmits data. The "screen" knows nothing, it merely receives and displays data. Again, human eyes/brains are required to interpret it.

Robots follow their programming, as it relates to motion. Software stands in place of human eye/brain to interpret the data sent by camera(s), which then sends data as variables to be inserted into the robot's programming.
