Harvard's Board:
Some People Plagiarized Some Things;
"We Unanimously Stand In Support" of Our Unqualified Hamas-Sympathizing Affirmative Action President

They blow off Gay's plagiarism in her Ph.D. as mere errors of improper citation which she is now correcting 30+ years later. (Correction: Landrath says they didn't clear her dissertation for plagiarism, but only three of her articles; I'm sure they'll clear her dissertation too, however.)

From m:

John Hasson
@SonofHas

14h

In 2021, @Harvard expelled 27 students for plagiarism

But its PRESIDENT will reportedly get a free pass despite plagiarizing her PhD THESIS

It's going to be really hard for Harvard to enforce its plagiarism rules against students now.

Just kidding! Harvard is of course a primary enforcer of the One True Rule: The pigs at the top of the Regime's trough-feeding pyramid get to make the rules.

Enforcing the rule against plagiarism against students while suspending it when it comes to the Top Pig at Harvard is actually teaching its students the most important rule of the Regime. It's telling them all what they can and should aspire to: Power without principle.

harvardplagiarismiscoolnow.jpg

It's good to set aside the rule against plagiarism -- did you know it hurt black folx and latinx students disproportionately?

All rules and laws which black folx and latinx peoplex violate more should of course be abolished. This means abolishing all rules and laws, because unfortunately blax and latinx commit a disproportionate amount of crime. They also apparently violate the most spelling rulex.

The prediction:

The fulfillment:

Speaking of Regime figures supporting Hamas: Current #1-Ranked Opiate of the Masses Taylor Swift attended a "comedy" show benefiting Hamas.

I mean "Gaza."

No, I had it right the first time: I mean "Hamas."

Pop superstar Taylor Swift attended a recent standup show by comedian Ramy Youssef benefiting a prominent Gaza charity, according to multiple reports.

Taylor Swift was spotted with fellow singer Selena Gomez at the performance that took place Friday at The Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York. Other celebrities spotted in the audience were Cara Delevingne, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Zoë Kravitz, People magazine reported.

This won't matter to them - they're still one of the gatekeeper's to America's elite status - but it will lose all reputation and value abroad. How long until, say, Seoul National University starts encouraging students to find non-Harvard sources for their research?

But it will do well for the Dems electorally later. This is all battlespace prep. yes of course. He's in the Kevin Costner Wyatt Earp biopic, Bat Masterson and his brother. That's one of the reasons I like that movie more than Tombstone (which I also like). I like seeing the Masterson brothers, I like seeing so much of the broad sweep of the west, seeing all these legends cross paths.

I think Bat Masterson is played by the guy who played the president in Independence Day. Bill something. He starts as a deputy under Earp, maybe in Dodge City, but the city fires Earp in favor of Masterson because Earp is too brutal. (Masterson is later murdered in the streets and Earp is called back to Dodge City to restore order, brutally.)

113 "Gay is further accused of lifting material from legal scholar Carol Swain without giving a citation."

Swain was on with Bannon, and (iirc) says the point is Gay basically stole Swain's research and claimed it as her own. The smaller point of improper attribution is important, but Gay did no real "research", came up with no real independent ideas. She relied on Swain's work for her main subject, but Swain was left as a footnote.

Even though Swain was Democrat at the time, her ideas were not really accepted, so it was OK for them to be stolen by a more faithful leftist. (or something).

She was fired. Big companies - and universities are, even if they claim otherwise - don't like firing executives. It makes the company look bad.

How this works in industry is that the executive being fired is brought into a room with his fellow executives. He's then told, "you're gone, but how you get gone presents choices. You can make us fire you and we will, but you get nothing. Your options, your benefits, the other perks and your employment status end today. Now. Or, you save us the trouble and resign for non-business reasons. If you do *that* instead, you'll remain on the payroll for six months, we'll make sure your options and restricted stock vest, you'll stay on the benefits plan for those six months, we'll cover your COBRA for the next six, and we don't disclose why you're fired. Ball's in your court."

And then the executive "resigns for personal reasons" while the parachute pays out.

Seems like Harvard, who is standing behind their girl, gets it more than UPenn.

These universities have stupendous endowments, and deep connections to both the Party, and ruling class at large. They don't actually *need* Jewish pennies or Jewish influence.

The first rule of tyranny club is that you never kneel to the peasants, unless they force you to. The Jews don't have that power.

So you rub their faces in it. If I were in their shoes, I'd have dipped into UPenn's $21b war chest. Pluck out $100m and award it to Magill as a bonus. Make the power dynamic clear.

I was very surprised they didn't hold fast like Harvard is. Apparently, they *are* smarter than the UPenn cronies, as they always claimed.

But it will do well for the Dems electorally later. This is all battlespace prep. They more or less have a lock on single women anyway, but this is to help them *hold* that lock and make it more powerful. Swift herself is particularly important because more of her fans are married and will try to cow their husbands into voting right when Tay-Tay says so.

It's all about preparing for next year.

Most research indicates that celebrities have minimal impact on actual voting decisions and Tay Tay is no different. What Tay Tay could do though is help raise money or help with voter registration for the Dems.

However, the more she chooses to engage in politics, the more it will damage her 'brand' limiting future income. That has happened to a lot of celebrities over the years.

A few years back I saw a video about grade inflation at universities. They reported that the average GPA at Harvard was A- and no one got less than B.

They interviewed a student who said "that's just because we're so very smart. We do all this work to get in but once we're in of course we do well". Said student failed to recognize that he was saying that Harvard "supposedly" took higher quality raw material and did absolutely nothing with it.

What it indicates though is kicking and screaming that the GOP is being forced to engage in lawfare. A lot of the Dem lawfare actions occur simply because they never pay much of a price for doing it and are frequently rewarded for doing so.

The GOPe has muttered for years that they are too principled to do lawfare and it is wrong to use the law and legal processes to punish political enemies. In truth, it is because they are gutless and lie to their base what policies they actually prefer.

This has always been the case.
What has changed is that they no longer start out with higher quality raw material - it is all legacy and diversity.

It used to be a kind of club, but it only admitted brilliant people so even though they did not work as hard, they networked and did OK. The Harvard grads I knew were sadly ignorant of things that most decent schools teach, but they were smart and they did very well because they had all the right connections.

Now the got input material like Gay, they teach nothing, and it is all connections.

Merit-ocracy -> credential - connections - corruption - crap.
This is where we are: shit-ocracy.

And to the Ferrell haters - he's funny. He's not funny in everything and he's overused, but I find him funny. I liked the first Ron Burgandy movie, for instance.

But, again, humor is subjective. There are a number of successful stand-up comics (Wanda Sykes anyone) who I think are not remotely humorous and cannot understand how they are successful. And other stand-ups I really like who aren't particularly successful.

I would think his endorsement would be the kiss of death in the primary. A candidate trying to sell themselves to a party base that absolutely doesn't trust or like the party leaders and trotting out Sununu to try and win votes? Talk about being deaf to what is going on in the party base!!!

My guess is that this endorsement will gain DeSantis a few votes.

Fen, I think our commenter was suggesting that *a certain subset of 30-60 year old women* are Taylor's ideal market -- not all of them by any means. The 30-year-olds woujld have encountered her music when they were 15-17. The older ones, well, they'd have been in their 30s and 40s, so I don't know what about her lyrics would appeal to that subset.

The 81-year-old’s anecdote is, like other biographical details he’s shared in public remarks, not supported by his own autobiography — or by Reagan’s daily presidential diary.

512 Our demented president just suggested that Netanyahu should change his government as Biden doesn't like the "indiscriminate" bombing of Gaza.

Maybe that kiddie-sniffing, pants-shitting-retard should just STFU and worry about his own government.

514 Aviva Klompas @AvivaKlompas
Roy Yanovsky, a journalist serving in the IDF posted a series of photos entitled: "Things you find in Gaza homes." The most common items were RPG missiles and Kalashnikov rifles. "The supply is highly impressive."

[The second common item is explosive charges. “It’s hard to find a street without a house that has several ready-to-use, including vests, uniforms, and pretty impressive combat equipment,” he added.]

Hebrew translated:
Concatenation
Things you find in homes in Gaza. Let's start with the most common: RPG and clutch. The supply is impressive, no doubt.

Translation of the English:
Concatenation
1The state of being concatenated or linked together; a relation of interconnection or interdependence.
2 A series of things united like links in a chain; any series of interconnected or interdependent things or events: as, “a concatenation of explosions,”

516 So...which songs of hers are targeted towards 30-60 year old women? Surely you have a list to support your assertion.

I couldn't name a song or point her out in a crowd if my life depended on it. I'm posting entirely based on the demographic data.

No sound; and it's a public square that used to have a statue of a Hamas rocket in it that the IDF blew up thus the FAFO remark.

520 Well, a bunch of retirees, janitorial service owners, Charles Schwab level investors and insurance agency managers are about to vow never to hire another Harvard graduate? It is a blog day ending in "y."

I will go first. My attorney shuffled off into retirement, and I am seeking another to be on retainer. He went to the Sorbonne. Sticking neck way out, I might have considered a Harvard graduate to replace him. On average I see my attorney one-half a time per year. So that's going to put them right to the wall.

522 I am surprised that Gay was not fired. Not because she is a Jew-hater or because she plagiarized, but because of WHO she plagiarized. Carol Swain is a black republican - about as horrible as you can get these days.

523 Read to the end of the Harvard letter and note that Penny Pritzker is the "Senior Harvard Fellow" listed. She's the one driving this train - Gay was her hand-picked choice for President of Harvard. That's the same Penny Pritzker whose brother is Governor of Illinois (Obama's homey) and whose cousin is the world's wealthiest tranny (has spent untold millions advancing that cause). Penny herself was Obama's campaign co-chair and Secretary of Commerce. She's also been pegged (see what I did there?) to head up Ukrainian reconstruction.

All roads lead to Rome.

525 Hopefully the blowback that will come down over the next weeks against Gay and the Harvard Corporation (comprised of the President and Fellows of Harvard College) will not only force Gay to resign but also Senior Fellow billionaire heiress Penny Pritzker (class of '81) who has pushed a ton of woke and trans-sex crap into the school and other activist groups and was the main Chicago backer for Obama prior to his presidency (and also offered to pay for his Hawaii retirement mansion). Fiona Hill, the BFF with Igor Danchenko at the Brookings Inst. and testifier at the first impeachment, was recently elected to the Board of Overseers (2nd power governming body at Harvard).
