The Palestinian son of a Hamas co-founder — who later converted to Christianity — warned the world that if Israel does not succeed in eliminating Hamas “all of us will be next. ”Mosab Hassan Yousef, son of Hamas co-founder Sheikh Hassan Yousef, spoke this week flanked by Israeli flags. Referring to the Hamas massacre and atrocities committed against Israel on October 7, he stated, “This crime cannot be forgiven. None of us should forgive this crime.” Speaking of the Israeli attack on Hamas in Gaza, he explained how those people killed in Gaza by Israel were part of Hamas’ plan to demonize Israel, saying, “So Israel now got stained by blood. This is what Hamas wanted to happen from day one. They wanted to sacrifice thousands of children so Israel can take the blame. Digging tunnels and bunkers under hospitals, schools … Hamas misfired. How many people killed at the hospital and they went so fast to blame Israel and the rest of the world listened to them and listened to their propaganda?” “If Hamas is not defeated, if Hamas is not eradicated in Gaza, we will set the model, we will give the freedom to so many radical groups around the world,” he warned. “And this is just a warning. If you really care for the global security — and I speak of a person who was part of the counter-terrorism effort against radical Islamists — if Hamas is not defeated in Gaza, it will inspire many groups around the globe. I find it heartening that someone like this man who had been so completely marinated in this insanity could see the light and reject it. That said, I'm not going to bank on a mass wave of enlightenment in the Islamic world. And the cult-like parallels with Leftism mean the potential for an axis of evil like no other.
Who would have guessed that the next trendy, chic thing among America’s addled and miseducated youth would be Islam? It was perhaps inevitable that young secular Westerners, their self-centered lives achingly meaningless, would gravitate to the only force that seems to present an alternative to the culture of materialism, hedonism, and increasing madness in which they’ve been marinating since birth. But many of these people are likely to wake up in the morning with a massive buyer’s remorse headache.First, there was the Osama bin Laden craze on TikTok. Hordes of witless millennials suddenly discovered the terror titan’s 2002 letter to America and professed to find wisdom in its whiny grievance-mongering and Jew-hatred. But that was just the beginning. Now the same disaffected, diseducated, and rationality-challenged millennials are embracing not just Osama, but the whole hog, or if you prefer, the whole halal enchilada, and converting to Islam. High-profile “influencers” are driving much of this trend. First, there was former kickboxer and accused sex trafficker Andrew Tate, who converted to Islam precisely because it sanctifies brute force and intolerance, qualities that he confuses with strength and sees lacking in the woke, relativistic half-men and men who think they’re women of the contemporary left. Following Tate into the Religion of Peace was the “Internet personality” Sneako, who is now doing his part to bring into the fold of Muhammad the legions of antisemites who have revealed themselves since Hamas’ Oct. 7 jihad massacre in Israel. On Thursday, the venomously anti-Israel propagandist Jackson Hinkle, who has over two million followers on X, tweeted (X’d?) a video in which Sneako presents him with a biography of Muhammad, the prophet of Islam. Hinkle wrote: “Thanks @sneako for gifting me the biography of the Prophet Muhammad. It’s already a very eye-opening read.” . . . Some of these people should have looked before they leaped. One is a woman named Alex, who describes herself as a “leftist queer gremlin.” This particular gremlin has been going to pro-Hamas demonstrations and recently bought a Qur’an, made a formal conversion to Islam, and started wearing a hijab. But has Alex noticed that the population of leftist queer gremlins in Gaza is vanishingly small? Is Alex aware of what happens to leftist queer gremlins in the Islamic land she so admires? Almost certainly not. But if she continues with her little rebellion against the West, she is liable to find out, and will likely be thinking as her tormenters close in that maybe the much-maligned West wasn’t so bad after all. . . . . . It is unlikely in the extreme that Megan Rice or any of these other new Western converts to Islam have the faintest idea of what their new religion teaches. They just like the idea of rebelling against The Man, who in their thoroughly propagandized minds is a white Christian; they haven’t noticed that the people who have the real power today are those who share their hatred of Israel and are determined to destroy and are happy to see this Islam craze spreading among young people because it furthers their larger goal of destroying the West in order to pave the way for socialist internationalism. By the time these young dupes wake up to how they’re being manipulated, it is likely to be far too late.Indeed. My blessings exceed anything I can ever hope for. Even though I've had ups and downs throughout my life, I managed to get to this point and will be 70 in December with a sound mind and still healthy enough to do whatever I want. It is a miracle that I'm financially secure now with a home that's nearly paid off and no debt, that is a blessing that brings me peace daily and that I haven't had a job in 8 years come March next year. I'm grateful that my son is out of school and has his career ahead of him and he's become a fine young man and a terrific musician to boot. I too am grateful for my gray box friends here; my empty nights are filled up, especially the part about bird bath status, kittens, and blueberry pancakes. That I now live in a lovely little community surrounded by lovely people that make my life richer every single day. But what I'm really grateful about this year Is I got to a World Series game, I have a 75-in TV, an Xbox that have no business owning and a coffee pot. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Just wanted to share a little something that made me smile One of the fathers of a kid on FenSpouse’s bus gave him a big wheel of nuts and dried fruits. FenSpiouse often gets lots of chocolates and gift cards at Christmas time which is also very nice, but this is the first time at TG. I thought that was wonderfully kind and thoughtful.

That's a shame, I had hoped for better. What you describe is a common problem when historical stores with huge amounts of detail get made by an outfit without a good editor. Editor's job more than anything is to still tell the story while tossing out the stuff that is going to put the audience to sleep.

Hoping that Geert Wilders can form a government; the parliamentary system of the Netherlands is fractionated that it's hard to predict anything. Looked up some numbers; in the outgoing Parliament there were 3 parties that each only had 1 member, and 4 more parties that each only had 3 members. Looks like there will be at least 16 different parties with seats in the new Parliament - what a ridiculous way to set up a government.
Looks like Wilder's party starts off with 37 members, up from 17 last election. (the reason its called a landslide)
But he has to find a way to negotiate up to 75 in order to govern.

This is like polling fed gov workers about cutting the fed govt. Men favor keeping their tech jobs, and the alliance will give them acres of them. Women don't tend to work those jobs, so they favor what's right.

I work with children and I can see a difference in their socialization behavior post- plandemic, but none of them have identified as non-binary.
The youngest children especially are very slow to warm up to their peers. I think it's because they were locked away for a year by Karen mommies who didn't want them exposed to a bug that would not harm them.

Trying two new things today;
1)Beef Wellington - found an awesome sounding recipe. Hopefully, I do a good job and it doesn't come out looking like something from Ace's Flambeed Leg O' Hobo Friday Night Dinner.

2) Spatchcocked Turkey with Orange and Anise - also dry-brined with those flavors as part of the package. I think it'd be a good as a smoked turkey so that's what I'm doing.
Cocktails and all the fixings, but of course.

I saw a video once of a woman speeding down the highway in the rain, lost control, hit a curb at the entrance to a gas station, and was launched into the air, finally landing a few feet from the gas pumps. it was unreal. Mr. Figorito was my 6th grade teacher. He was awesome, but tough. Merrill was a child in the class who was pretty incorrigible, doing things like putting tacks on others chairs. Mr F made Merrill write "I must learn to accept and respect all legally delegated authority at all times without reservation" 100 times on the chalkboard after class. Merrill later went on to do a stint in Federal prison for selling stolen electronics across state lines, his older brother went to the Big House for hijacking a tractor trailer from the docks in Weehawken, and his Dad, who was a lawyer, went to Fed Pen for bribing immigration officials. Nice family.
