Senator Mike Lee Calls for Investigation Into J6 Committee for Concealing Evidence
Prominent conservatives have shared footage from the January 6, 2021 Capitol Hill riot, released by new House Speaker Mike Johnson, which one said means the "J6 Committee's violent insurrection narrative has crumbled." On Friday, Johnson made around 90 hours of January 6 footage security footage available via a committee website. There, he said the remaining 44,000 hours of video, taken from surveillance and police body cameras, would be posted over the coming months, fulfilling a vow he made while running for speaker. ... A number of short clips from the footage were shared on X, formerly Twitter, where some have received hundreds of thousands of views. Charlie Kirk, head of pro-Trump campaign group Turning Point USA, shared a 37-second clip showing police officers at one end of a congressional corridor and demonstrators at the other, without any apparent conflict between the two. Kirk wrote: "And just like that the J6 Committee's violent insurrection narrative has crumbled. "The Capitol Police facilitated the protesters passage through the building. The vast majority of J6ers should be immediately released," Kirk added.

"We need to investigate the J6 committee," he wrote in another post.

Twitch is a platform for streaming. There are people on there who compile multiple people on the streets streaming in to one video. So you'll see like 12 camera angles of the same thing as it's happening, live.
I watched the entire January 6th protest live. From at least a dozen angles.
It was almost entirely non-violent, with police clearly allowing people in to the building. The biggest violence was MAGA people pulling what looked like black bloc antifa types off of scaffolding and whatnot and accusing them of being antifa.
There were also some scuffles with police, but I didn't see any of that up close from any of the streamers.
The entire story of January 6 has been a lie from day one.

The cops were / are probably under standing orders to allow protestors in, and to only arrest people they witness being violent.

It's not possible to view J6 footage and NOT run across evidence of non-criminal acts. It's impossible for the video to tell one story and one story only. They saw innocents being falsely charged for non-crimes. They were knowingly antagonistic towards them because they view the public as pawns to be used for their own desires. In this case it was TDS because Trump was taking away (or simply threatening to take away) the toys and power they assumed was their birthright.
So good on Lee for pressing this investigation. But not good enough, really, on setting the battlefield for the defense of the argument that needs to be made about wholesale, targeted abuse/persecution of citizens by self-appointed authoritarians.

It was a political rally by the sitting president. Thousands and thousands of people showed up for his speech.
They planned to protest outside the capitol.
Again, nothing illegal here at all.
They decided to go inside of the capitol. As far as they or anyone else knew, that was totally legal and fine.
Yet within minutes of them entering an unlocked, open to the public building, the entire media was yelling out a word we rarely here in the 21st century -- insurrection.
In lockstep.
In order to say Trump led a violence insurrection against the government and was barred from running again. Obviously entirely planned ahead of time. Unfortunately for them, it was nowhere near as violent as they hoped / did they best to make it. But the stories were already written so fuck it, go with what you have I guess.

Dad fell for a Medicare scam AND a phishing scam at the end of July and it took a solid two months to get their finances back in some semblance of order. Thankfully, they lost maybe $200 but that's because I watch their accounts on a daily basis. It's been an absolute nightmare. I think we're on bank account five for both of them.
Dad also fell in July and hit his head, though he did not suffer any head injury and then he fell and hit his head again two weeks ago, though still no head injury.
Mommy's on the slide down into dementia. She can still drive and take care of the house so that's a blessing. After Dad fell the second time, she agreed that they need assisted living so we're working on that.
It's been a lot.
I still have them though and that's the important part. Thank you for asking.

Names, photos, children left behind, spouses, and for sure if available, what may have been revealed in suicide letters. None offed themselves because they experienced PTSD from J6.

I was at a car dealership today and they talked about the high number of trans people being killed. I couldn't help but wonder-how many are killed because of drugs and/or the man was none too pleased to find out Lucy was really Louis when he wanted sex acts from an actual woman?
