The Well-Deserved Death of "Expert" Authority: Only 2% of the Public Has Gotten the Next Expert-Endorsed Covid Booster

As Iowahawk described the process, the radical, tyrannical left

1, takes over a respected institution, eating it up from within, and

2, then wears the skin-suit of the now-devoured institution, demanding respect.

People are no longer giving respect to skin-suited "expert" institutions.

As if we needed more proof that COVID destroyed the public health profession, the public response to this year's booster doses is as good as you're going to get.
Last year, the CDC, FDA, Dr. Fauci and other health "experts" spent months excoriating the public to get an updated, bivalent booster. They were adamant that those boosters, despite little testing and overhyped results, were necessary to prevent a significant winter surge and increased transmission. Talk about an illusion of control.
Almost no one listened.
Despite immediately authorizing the boosters for virtually all ages, with little justification, just 17% of the population got their latest COVID shot. Whether through skepticism of the "experts," immunity from prior infection, or the realization that the vaccines are ineffective at preventing infection, the public overwhelmingly ignored public health advice.

Now, more than a month after they were authorized based on testing on eight mice, we have an update on what percentage have gotten the new doses, after relentless excoriation from the CDC.
And it's low. Really low.
According to the Department of Health and Human Services, roughly 7 million Americans have received the latest COVID booster dose.
The population of the United States is estimated to be roughly 336 million, meaning that just 2% of the country's gotten the new vaccine. 2%. It's hard to imagine a more direct repudiation of the "experts" than that.

Very good discussion about covid injuries and constant vaccine misinformation being spread by skin-suited "news" companies, featuring Dr. Drew Pinksy, below. Skip to 9:30 for the discussion of excess deaths being up. He points out that after an epidemic, excess deaths usually go down, because the epidemic already killed so many of the less-healthy people.

And yet excess deaths are up.

Pinsky doesn't know why this is. What he does know is that this should be sparking a frenzied scramble to find out why excess deaths are up -- but the medical establishment is just pretending it isn't happening.

He notes that some have suggested that mental health problems may account for this increase in deaths. Maybe so, but that would also be due to the draconian lockdowns the "experts" forced on us. So the "experts" are just refusing to acknowledge the problem.

They know that in one way or another, they caused the excess deaths.

A professor discusses the establishment's absolute refusal to account for, or even look at, the mortality data. He isn't talking about excess deaths post-covid, but about the medical establishment's misinformation about what caused the excess deaths in the beginning of covid. He points out that you can't have spikes in mortality at the beginning of the spread of a virus. Viruses take time to spread and kill, after all.

So something else caused the very-early spikes in deaths.

Possibly mistakes made by the medical establishment, like aggressively putting people on respirators.

But again: They don't want to look into that.

Finally, Jeffrey Sachs, an economist, was asked to form a panel to investigate covid's origins. He went into the project believing "the experts" that covid evolved naturally.

He discovered all the "experts" were liars: Covid was created at the Wuhan lab, using gene manipulation techniques pioneered by the US.

He points out that a US lab, Rocky Mountain Lab, was experimenting in bat-born viruses at the same time covid began spreading. And Anthony Fauci has connections to Rocky Mountain Lab. He suggests that it is possible the US developed the virus, and then sent it to China for testing, where it leaked. Another possibility is that China merely extended/completed initial bat-virus research begun in America.

Key revelation: A furin cleavage site was added to a SARS virus in 2005. Experimenters discovered that adding the furin cleavage site to a SARS (bat) virus made the virus capable of rapidly infecting humans.

And then in 2020, what a coincidence, a bat virus that begins breaking out around the Wuhan respiratory virus lab, which contains a specialized bat-virus unit, has a furin cleavage site which everyone who looked at it initially says must have been added by humans starts rapidly infecting humans.

Another good revelation: Funding from the US government often doesn't fund research going forward. In fact, it funds research already done. They do the research, then they apply for grants to pay for it, retrospectively.

So when Fauci claims that some research wasn't funded by the US based on when the grant was issued, he's lying. He knows that the timeline for funding is very rubbery.

There will be no trust given to these "experts" until they offer the public a full, honest accounting, and admit to their mistakes, deliberate lies, and their own creation of covid-19.

Looking through the polls and comparing them to the end result, the polls had Landry winning a plurality of no more than 40% with an RCP average of 38.7%. He won 51.6%. Wilson's average was 24% and his final result was 25.9%.

Those polls were off...by a lot, and they were done right before the election.

But let's keep trusting polls 14 months out from a presidential election like they mean anything.

The specific order of operations might never be publicly known, but there is more than adequate evidence to conclude that, whatever the details, SARS-CoV-2 was the result of Sin-American cooperation in gain-of-function and its release was the result of a loss of control (optimistic) or prior intent to do ill (pessimistic).

That won't be enough. That will just cause remaining trust to vanish. Such disclosures need to be mated to two other things:
1. Retribution against the malefactors who did it (lifetime prison sentences and expropriation, etc.).
2. Extremely strict reform, likely in new organizations that will replace the current organizations that are all dismantled.

Since those two things are off the table, what you're describing will never happen. Disclosure without punishment and reform will just destroy whatever is left. Since the malefactors and their agencies will never, ever, for any reason accept responsibility or punishment - including the necessary death penalty for the institutions themselves - they will also work manfully to avoid any and all disclosure.

2019, Edwards won the plurality with 47%, eventually winning with 51% in the runoff. His Republican challenger got 27% in the primary but rose to 48% in the general election (runoff).

Total votes between the primaries 4 years apart showed 300,000 fewer people voted in 2023 than in 2019.

This isn't a special election in some random House race or state house district. This is a regularly scheduled governor election, and the Democrat got stomped. Hard.

The cheating is going to be amazing to watch. I'd be curious to see what DU has to say about the race, assuming they're talking about it at all.

Wasn't a mistake. Even at the time, they said the primary purpose of intubating people was so that covid wasn't spread to the Heroes (tm) by sick people breathing all over nurses and doctors.

I'm afraid over a million people "B'LEEVED" themselves into an early grave because they didn't think it was contagious, didn't think it existed, didn't think it could happen to them, thought their prayer group would save them instead of joining them in the graveyard.

We both continue to mask here. We're both compromised, both Vaxxed 7 times. Envomask N95 mask in very high risk situations, 3M N95 Aura otherwise when indoors.

I've seen a distinct uptick in masks here. During the summer I was the lone masked man in most settings. Now I estimate it is back to around a third of those I encounter. I am also pleased that those wearing masks are not all “high risk” and are some younger and healthy looking individuals.

My hyper-cautious hubby hasn't stopped wearing his mask. He's had a puny immune system since childhood and has gotten every cold, every flu within 50miles as long as I can remember. Last year proved different - he's that "masked man" now.

I actually went out and drove by the emergency rooms of a couple of large hospitals in my area during one of the surge panics after the main one. Nothing unusual. No lines, people collapsing, medical workers running rushing around, ambulances, sirens etc... Just some people hanging around chatting, people walking in and out as usual, one or two ambulances parked like any emergency room on any other day in normal times. And notably no reporters to show the world the actual state of affairs.

I don't discuss covid issues because of what I have lost because of it - and its impact on my life is less than quite a few others - but I recently started relistening to a podcast that wrapped up in 2017 that was archaeologists debunking Art Bell level theories about ancient technologies and the like.
The terms they used and the attitudes about truth, fact, verification, peer review and credentialism was a slap in the face when I thought about 2020 to today and how many "scientifickly minded academics" all fell into line with the current dogmas.
Falsification of hypothesis is a huge issue in the scientific process. The attitude I kept getting was that falsification is only useful in debunking non-approved thought, as if peer review and credentials is armor against anything in spite of the current replication crises developing in all areas of science research.

They don't have to convince us. They've already done the heavy lifting with academia, hollywood, etc. You'd be hard pressed to find a kid or old person who understands how science works and that a hypothesis has to be rejected when it fails.

Interestingly, that ties in with COVID, which was probably a bit of a test-run. Trust the Science and all that. You're not a Biologist so you don't know what a woman is. You don't receive your funding from government grants to make sure Global Warming definitely exists in order to continue receiving additional funding, so you can't have an opinion.

My wife's rheumatologist is a researcher and was working on the vaccine. On weekly calls with the Fauci team and all that. The stuff he told her we were never allowed to repeat but suffice to say he did not take the vaccine and forbade my wife to take it. None of us did.

In 2021 he was at a conference and they stated there that mononucleosis was man made. He has had a long career in immunology and says that no one knew this.

We are never going to know what all has been done to us.

I was almost that often because of my travel out of state. The hospital had a drive thru for testing. But, they would only insert "just the tip" for those tests. When I had to have a medical procedure, then they shoved the swab to the back of my skull.

My next door neighbor is a Neurologist, and much given to railing about the damage being inflicted upon the healthcare system by (mostly) the healthcare corporations. He loaned me a book which I have touted here a couple of times, 'An American Sickness'. An interesting, if somewhat distressing read.

Our local non-profit hospital was bought out by HCA. It has been downhill ever since.

Back in the '80s, Big Pharma essentially threatened the US government and said they'd stop making vaccines if they weren't given immunity to liability for known adverse effects to vaccines. Which they ended up getting (I would argue that they wouldn't need that in the first place under our laws as long as they got INFORMED CONSENT from the patients / their parents). So my point about my famioy member's diagnosis is that while he never got a vaccine, he also was never diagnosed with COVID. He did however have two different bouts of unusual respiratory infections that in retrospect might have been COVID, but weren't severe enough to seek testing. So how do we determine cause and effect in that kind of scenario? It is virtually impossible.

this is absolutely correct and this is the sort of thing that can be massaged into any sort of argument, pro or con.

It is nearly impossible to say whether increased uptake of any vaccine, COVID or not, can be determined to be the cause of any particular cancer or auto-immune disorder. There are no uniform start conditions or administration conditions, and people are not cloned mice strains who react similarly. Phocomelia was confusing because it was not all the children who developed it when exposed in utero, since it was also dependent on certain mutation levels IIRC.
What is being asked is are there trends that seem to match other trends that could be contributory, and are there any natural experiments that show perturbations of those trends
