The AVClub consults the NPC playbook and whines "we're so tiiiired" of having to do the work to correct this kind of Literal Erasure.

If "we're so tired" sounds familiar, that's because it's the newest Alphabet People/SJW whine. When they can't force people to repeat their lunatic cult doctrines, they start crying and whining "I'm so tired (or exhausted) of having to explain why you must accept all of my delusions as real."

Eh, it really started in 2015. It wasn't just their dropping the ball on a lot of current events, it was their opting for season-long storylines rather than the classic one-off episodes.

Last season was an improvement. it was about 40-50% in their old-style.

The rest was woke caca. Plus, they really have TDS. It makes the show totally unwatchable sometimes.

I suspect though that they're rich enough now that they just letting the money machine run while they do what they want with little supervision.

Tried watching Fall of the House of Usher on Netflix this weekend, didn't make it through a single episode. The multi-racial cast and gayness must have been a priority, because it's there in spades, unlike quality writing.

So, while I was flying over the briny sea last weekish, I saw a couple of movies y'all might want to check out:

1) "No Hard Feeling" - hands down the funniest comedy that I've seen in a long time. I was laughing loudly on the plane.

It stars Jennifer Lawrence and she is hilarious. She should do more comedy and is totally fearless in doing the stupid stuff required by the script.

The story concerns JL who needs a car so she takes a job with some severe helicopter parents who want their son to have a "dating" experience before he goes to college.

Not for the kids. so, be aware of that. But, truly funny. Watch it tonight you won't regret it. 5 Stars.

2) "Hypnotic" - directed by Robert Rodriguez, starring Ben Affleck. Concerns a cop whose kid disappears while he was watching her in a park. But, during a bank robbery, he discovers that what he knows may be wrong.

Believe it or not. Affleck is very good in this. He used to seem, well-for lack of a better word, fey, no matter what the role. But, his turn as Batman seems to have given him some, for lack of a better word, gravitas.

She's an overall terrible human being, but if you don't care about Yootoob drama, you can be forgiven, but what she did is possibly illegal, and definitely the kind of thing that can get you banned on various platforms. We'll see if they do anything about it, because she's huge, and has tits.

If Jack had done it to her, you can bet he would have been gone faster than you can say Jack Douglas.

I have to tell this story, which I have never told anyone ever.

When I moved to CA i lived in corporate temporary housing off the main strip in Sunnyvale. (Moffet Rd? I think). On the Monday morning, my first day of work, I drove east toward 101, and about a hundred meters from the highway there was a first gen, white, T-bird, rubber side up. I nearly cried.

I have no idea how it could have happened unless it fell off a carrier. It was very early and there was a cop there but no traffic yet. Surreal.
