Shock: School Districts With DEI Officers Suffered Even Greater Learning Loss During the Pandemic Than Non-Wokef*cked Schools

Really. You don't say.

You mean when an organization turns itself inside-out to prioritize things other than the stated priorities of the organization -- and even in direct opposition to the stated priorities of the organization-- its ability to achieve those now-deprioritized priorities suffers?

I shan't believe it. I simply shannot.

I wonder if corporations know about this effect.

Probably not! I'm sure that woke hiring practices and hiring People of Complaint and People of Pronouns who have no interest in making the corporation profitable, but just making it ideologically compliant by running a coercion racket within the corporation, is delivering huge, huge value for shareholders.

School districts with DEI officers suffered greater pandemic learning losses by Black, Hispanics: Report

The Heritage Foundation's report also showed that school districts with CDOs had secretive transgender policies.

Whoah! Double-plot twist!

A new report revealed on Wednesday that K-12 school districts with a chief diversity officer [CDO] are associated with greater pandemic learning loss by Black and Hispanic students than other districts during COVID and have secretive transgender policies.

According to the Heritage Foundation report, 48% of school districts with at least 15,000 students had a CDO.

Although the purpose of a CDO in a K--12 school district is to reduce achievement gaps for minority students and address their learning needs, the Heritage Foundation found that large school districts with CDOs suffered greater pandemic learning losses among Black and Hispanic students.

Math scores saw their largest decreases ever, while reading scores dropped to levels not seen since 1992 for fourth and eighth graders across the country, according to the Nation's Report Card.

Heritage Foundation Senior Research Fellow Jay Green told FOX News Digital that the federal government provided schools with an additional $190 billion to prevent learning loss during the pandemic.

He added that one of the things school districts spent that money on was hiring chief diversity officers. The investment did not appear to pay off.

"It is now the case that 48% of all school districts with at least 15,000 students has a Chief Diversity Officer, up from 39% two years ago," Green said in a statement. "Rather than stemming learning loss, we found that black and Hispanic students in districts with Chief Diversity Officers experienced greater declines in their math achievement during the pandemic than minority students in districts without a Chief Diversity Officer."

"While these diversity staff were not academically successful, they were associated with the spread of policies to keep secret from parents information about their own child's gender issues, including changes in names, pronouns, and bathroom usage," Green continued. "In school districts with Chief Diversity Officers, 40% had these gender-secrets policies compared to 17% in districts without those officials."

Furthermore, Blacks and Hispanics experienced larger declines in math achievement and those declines on average exceeded the rate of decline among White students.

Triple plot-twist! The most wokef*cked schools did the most damage to black and Hispanic students.

No one saw this coming, except everyone who is not part of the Democrat-Media-"Education" Establishment, and who therefore is paid not to notice the obvious.

Not only did the Heritage Foundation discover that Black and Hispanics suffer greater learning loss than White students, CDOs efforts were geared toward more political activity.

A man can only be shocked so many times before his heart just quits.

More specifically, districts with CDOs were significantly more likely to have policies to keep children's gender confusion or dysphoria secret from parents. The Heritage Foundation reported that such a practice showed that CDOs tend to push "ideological orthodoxies opposed by majorities of parents instead of assisting with student learning or closing minority achievement gaps."

...

"Rather than devoting their time to ensuring that minority students took equal advantage of all available learning tools and opportunities, it appears that CDOs were focused on pursuing very different agendas. The evidence connecting the presence of CDOs to policies to keep gender secrets from parents suggests that CDOs are more focused on promoting ideological goals than educational ones."

That's a Right-Wing Dark MAGA Conspiracy Theory, Thought Criminal.

But Trump is the real anti-Establishment guy, right? And DeSantis, the guy who actually DOES the shit that Trump makes "Strong Statements" about, is the guy controlled by the Establishment. Right? Riiiiight?

As far as your fantasy that the nation will rise up to avenge a Trump loss: No, they won't. The nation hates him. Hated figures do not provoke the kind of widespread revolt you're looking for.

85 This is probably the result more of demographics than anything else. During Covid, even affluent students at affluent suburban schools phoned it in. They treated it as a very extended vacation. Poorer, more urban schools were probably completely shut down, and even if not, the students were completely tuned out. It would not surprise me in the least that these urban schools (which have higher percentages of minority students) had a more significant drop in student performance, regardless of how many no-show CDO positions they had.

The evidence connecting the presence of CDOs to policies to keep gender secrets from parents suggests that CDOs are more focused on promoting ideological goals than educational ones."

Ideological goals that will never be achieved. On purpose. By continually moving the goal posts, "my truth" anecdotal evidence in place of facts and honest statistics, and anything else that CDOs can do to keep the minority tyranny going...along with their own scam jobs. As we here have known since forever.

99 Having a CDO is a strong marker for Woke disease, but there is plenty of Woke disease in the other schools as well.

So the damage from Wokeness is greater in the CDO schools, the that does not measure total damage. So maybe CDO schools reduce "education results" by 50%, whereas no CDO schools only reduce that by 35%?

And then there was the shutdown damage, which for 3 years now also relates to the degree of Wokeness. The harsher the shutdown the more damage to education.

He's a high enthusiasm candidate among likely voters. Any R candidate with high name recognition will tend to poll poorly in general polls.

The most popular R candidate is "Generic Republican", unfortunately he's never bothered to run.

A candidate may be affable like Carter without being popular in the sense of bringing in voters.

Biden may have outrun Obama in key districts with blacks but that doesn't mean Obama wasn't popular.

Trump is a very effective retail candidate, stumping for votes, generating enthusiasm, that sort of thing.

I don't believe for a minute that PDTS 'lost the election'. There is more than enough circumstantial evidence that it was rigged by voter fraud, including Joe Biden's own words.

If memory serves, 2018 was when the GOP effectively surrendered the house by resigning and retiring, led by Paul Ryan.

2022 was pretty much the same. the GOP half-assed the effort and McConnel and Graham actively worked against those who attempted to get it done.

Just my impressions, YMMV.

And still, my only real point is, putting one's hope in any of these other clowns who are "running" for president is a fool's errand. None of them are going to be nominated, and if they somehow push Trump out of the way, most of those people who DON'T hate Trump aren't going to vote for whoever Gope throws up.

But it'll also be a whipping post for any future administration who tries to cut taxes by "stealing food from kids."

Cashless commerce is another button. Heard a report that when Covid hit, more people started supporting churches by automatic deductions than cash. Why would that matter? Oh, yeah. You can hide who/what "deplorable" persons you support with cash. You also can buy your homeschooling neighbor's produce or hire their son to shovel snow without them having to declare it or be licensed.

275 Yeah, but they've got the judiciary, the media, Hollywood, and academia on their side. They can - and do - ignore the law with impunity; the judiciary lets them, and the media suppress news of this.

Pretty hard to overcome all of that.

Exactly. I'm not faulting her. I'm taking a bit of a shot at the youngsters who were running her campaign though. They were awfully confident... and arrogant about all this.

276 . I know some people that said that they would vote for another Republican but not Trump.

They are lying.

If you want to go cashless, you'd best make sure your Internet connection works. They opened a new Dollar General by us. No one thought to get landline internet. There POS cash register isn't working for shit without internet. So it's pretty much cash only. They have written down six pages of lost sales due to no internet.

Sure, if you're a business. But government doesn't really care if the average joe is inconvenienced or the store loses money.
