Madison Cornbread (Government Name: Cassidy Hutchinson) Denies She Dated Matt Gaetz; But Daily Caller Reveals an Intimate Pic That Suggests Otherwise
Do you like that headline? It's what I call "search-optimized." Those of you who are hoping to see Madison Corbread's cornfed snizz are going to be disappointed.
I learned that from the media. It's a technique called, let me look this up so I don't get the spelling wrong, "lying." Nevertheless, despite the lack of corny nudity, the photo seems to indicate that something was going on between Matt Gaetz and Madison Cornbread. The last time we saw Madison Cornbread she was giving testimony that "someone said something to the effect of" Trump tearing the wheel of the presidential limo out of the driver's hands so that he could get to the Insurrectionist Rally and lead a coup.

"Matt Gaetz is inside you now"
Republican Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz and the January 6 committee's key witness, Cassidy Hutchinson, can be seen FaceTiming while lying in bed in an iPhone screenshot obtained by the Daily Caller. The photo comes after Hutchinson denied Gaetz's claim that he dated Hutchinson "for a few weeks when we were both single years ago." A source close to Gaetz confirmed the authenticity of the screenshot.

Gaetz revealed the alleged relationship in a statement to MSNBC host Rachel Maddow, who was set to interview Hutchinson about her forthcoming book, in which Hutchinson claims that Gaetz groped her on two occasions. "I don't remember either of these events and based on Cassidy's prior false statements, I doubt they occurred," Gaetz said in response to the allegations. Hutchinson, a former aide in the Trump White House, told Maddow during Monday night's show that her "standards" would not allow her to enter a relationship with the Florida congressman. "And I do not think that Matt Gaetz has the best track record for relationships" Hutchinson told Maddow. "I will say, on behalf of myself, I never dated Matt Gaetz. I have much higher standards in men." "Matt, frankly, is a very unserious politician," Hutchinson continued. "We see that today with the ruckus that he is causing on Capitol Hill with the spending negotiations." Hutchinson did not immediately respond to a Daily Caller inquiry about the screenshot.

Related, I was watching one of those compilation things, with each of the cast members selecting some of their favorites from back in the day (except Graham Chapman, others were allowed to select his, of course). Eric Idle, who was the songwriter of the group, one of the sketches they showed for him was a liver performance of the Lumberjack song, which of course on the original show was performed by Palin.
I guess Eric wanted everyone to know it was his.

Anything with a brand name seems like it's at that level of sipping whiskey in the bourbon family. Woodford (they have the nicest distillery in Kentucky as far I could tell), Buffalo Trace, Bulliet...I'd enjoy those as just sipping whiskeys.
Maybe something like Wild Turkey should be more of a mixing liquor, but even the lower end Evan Williams I like to drink neat.

You guys are way too picky. Dewar's White is a decent, cheaper scotch. Not a ton of flavor, but reasonably smooth and inoffensive. I keep a bottle in my bar. Jack D ain't that bad either. There is much, much worse stuff out there.

I finally broke down and started talking to the guy who worked in the liquor store. I started with, "I want to get into scotch, but I tried Dewars and I hated it."
He lifted his hand and just told me straight up that it's 75% grain alcohol. It's barely scotch, if even that. There's a world of great scotches to discover.

The first time I ever had Jack Daniels was in a Bourbon and Coke. It was so disgusting I avoided bourbon for literally decades.
After years of being a single malt kind of guy I have been introduced to fine bourbons by others and now realize that the foulness that comes from the Jack Danials distillery is merely an adulterated aberration of bourbon that is to be avoided at all costs.

The odd thing is that I really like almost everything else Jack Daniels makes. Gentleman Jack is respectable. The Single Barrel is kind of delicious. Even their weirder little things like the Frank Sinatra blend are quite nice.
It's just No. 7.
And I think I mostly just don't want to clean the dishes of making a mixed drink.

I was talking to a scotch expert who was surprisingly down on Japanese scotches because there was little telling what was actually in the stuff. It was his impression that it was far more artificial than an actual scotch.
Of course, taste only matters, but at that price point, it might be better to buy a scotch than a Japanese whiskey.
He had nice things to say about Indian whiskeys, and I've never had a chance to try one.

Everyone got a "you want a roll" except SFC Williams, he got "you want some hot buttered buns?"
OMG, the shit we gave poor Williams over that. Especially when she would remove her BDU top and go around with just the T-shirt, pants, and boots. She'd turn on the hi-beams when Williams came around. Poor bastard, She-Ra was a good LT too. The other officers fave as much shot as we gave Williams.

In the extras to "Erik the Viking", Jones talks about his son's work on the film and is evidently extremely proud of him. I liked that about Jones.

Meh. It's not complete. The distillery is a separate facility than barreling / aging / bottling - the 2 facilities are more than an hour's drive apart. But if you can get your hands on a distillery-only bottle of Four Roses cask strength single barrel -- DO IT!!!

I told him next time, he needs to drink it more quickly once opened, and especially that low, because it'll oxidize and get off flavors.

Yeah, whiskey essentially just turns into ethanol over time after the bottle gets opened. A year is a pretty good limit on how long a bottle should remain opened and undrunk.

I got mine for $50. Bought it off a guy who has a hookup with PX Liquor Locker. His son, an alcoholic, was living back with mom and pop and pop wanted it out of the house. Like I said, to me it has a back note of Sulphur that is unpleasant. My go to is Maker's Mark. I also like Old Grand Dad. Both middle shelve Bourbons. Basil Hayden I like a lot is a top shelf I buy occasionally.

I've done that with tea before. Catching that hint of honeysuckle on the breeze is one of my favorite things, which is a big reason why he bought it.
When we were little kids we'd go rabbit hunting and I can remember walking fencelines and us pulling the little stamen (or whatever the flower part is) through the picked flowers to get that little bit of sweet nectar.

I think it starts as ethanol, but as the bottle fills with more air, more of the booze will oxidize, creating new compounds with off flavors.
