"According to the whistleblower, at the end of its review, six of the seven members of the Team believed the intelligence and science were sufficient to make a low confidence assessment that COVID-19 originated from a laboratory in Wuhan, China," the House panel chairmen wrote. "The seventh member of the Team, who also happened to be the most senior, was the lone officer to believe COVID-19 originated through zoonosis."
Could this most senior member be none other than Anthony Fauci, smuggled into CIA headquarters to try to talk the others out of their conclusion that this was a manufactured bioweapon? The answer yes. Yes, that is exactly what happened. I believe we will find this out shortly. There is no deep state. There are only government employees and their family, and everyone else. Party or not of the party. And some government employees have more power and prestige and perks than others, but everyone has a massive level of protection with their job and income from the get-go. Teachers are the easiest / most accessible glimpse into the phenomenon.

The collapse of the sea otter fur trade was a key element of how the Americans cracked open Spanish California. American sailors showed up at the closed Spanish ports claiming they had an emergency which got them docked. I saw the crazy insane Chinese response, and I thought it was an escaped bio-weapon. I still think it was, but fortunately for the World, it was still in development, and not a finished product.
I overreacted. But by the time it got here, I realized that it was not a world killer. But my healthy 35 year old nephew was very very sick from it around Valentines Day 2020.
It took until July 2020 when I saw the actual sick and dead data to realize anyone healthy and under 60 years old was not likely to die.
I even got the first vax in March 2021, so I could get permission to visit my parents in assisted living. (How fucked up was that policy?!?!?)

As I said a few years ago, I don't think this really has anything to do with gain of function in viruses.
I think we have a bunch of nerdy scientists and sociopathic business and political figures who are thrilled with the idea of manipulating DNA.
Manipulating human DNA is (as of right now) still a non-starter. Too many people against that.
Plants we already manipulate, but they're boring and don't give great insight in to manipulating human DNA (down the line).
Viruses... well, they're not really alive. And we can learn a lot about manipulating animal DNA in the future by manipulating virus DNA and seeing how it interacts with animals. And of course, it necessitates manipulating animal DNA (mice, in the COVID situation) with human DNA to see if the virus works.
Because otherwise gain of function research makes little sense. "lets fuck with this virus to try to make it more deadly" "why?" "well, then we'll know what happens." uhhhh

If that were their plan though, again -- why such a shitty virus? They were all reading from the script of a much more serious pandemic, but I still stand by the idea that if this was 1950 and COVID was in the wild, we'd probably note an "especially bad flu year" but it wouldn't be that big of a deal.

And part of the op was to determine how effectively they could put the virus out there, and subsequently control EVERYTHING about how people live.
Whether or not Covid 23 gets released this winter or not, I think we'll know more then.
But the extent to which they were able to get people to fundamentally change how we live, I'd say Covid 19 was a smashing success.

One of the early reports we got on the Chinese Bat Lady was that, among other things, she was fusing HIV proteins onto bat viruses that were otherwise unable to be infectious for humans.
Now, the proteins themselves are harmless, they're merely the conduit by which virus particles infect cells, then whatever their genetic material is, it will then cause whatever damage it will.
It's entirely possible this is all new to them, that they had no idea HOW dangerous/lethal this virus was to humans, and the research was invaluable to them figuring out what to do next. When the REAL killer gets released.

Makes perfect sense to grab guns and create more chaos. In Colorado, they have already floated the idea several years ago for massive gun restriction laws and almost immediately, the CO Sheriff's association said that 62 of the 64 Counties in the state would not enforce these laws. Naturally, the two holdouts were Denver and Boulder counties.
