Project Veritas Suspends Operations Amid Funding Collapse, Following the Sudden Firing of the Founder/Talent of the Group, James O'Keefe
I don't know about you, but I totally did not see this coming.
What did they expect? To be honest, I think they expected this. I think they intended to destroy the organization. As we keep seeing, the Establishment will only permit half-hearted, token, symbolic resistance. If you really resist them -- out come the r4pe allegations.
Investigative news outlet Project Veritas suspended operations this week amid a substantial drop in funding following the ouster of founder James O'Keefe. HR Director Jennifer Kiyak announced a round of layoffs on Wednesday in a letter obtained by Mediaite.
"In the interest of preserving the possible future existence of Project Veritas we need to put operations on pause and, as communicated since the Spring, another Reduction in Force ('RIF') is necessary," she wrote.

I don't think he "blames" Cornyn, the blame belongs with the Bush Family and Dade Phelan (Texas house speaker), but Cornyn is the most vulnerable seat availablle in the near future, especially since I'm sure Paxton isn't wanting to take on Abbott head to head.

They are bogus. You can google them. His first trial ended in a hung jury with something like 10-2 in favor of acquittal. Then in the second trial, the judge inexplicably allowed new testimony that Masterson roofied them, even though there was no medical evidence of that. Masterson might be a creep, and who knows what really happened with those girls, but for sure there was no actual evidence that he raped them.

By "Board Figurehead" I meant that Giles was nominally the chairman of the board after they bounced O'Keefe. The article claimed that she was the one that started the campaign against him that they capitalized on, however, out of what amounts to petty jealousies over her role in the ACORN sting being minimized compared to his own. So she was rewarded for that by getting a title that had little real power behind it ultimately, which I should have done a better job stating. Sorry to be obtuse.

There are some statistics showing women led companies outperform their male comrades. A lot of that was based on the fact that few women wanted that spot, so the pool was a little more high quality. You got a smaller subset of the labor pool that could ever try to do it, so the chances of getting a higher performer was greater. Of course now, with the overt push to place women in these spots, the bench of really qualified ladies is getting stretched pretty thin - so their performance will deteriorate. Because you are now pushing obviously unprepared women into a job that is really hard and that many men fail at already.
