The Long Knives Come For Russel Brand, YouTube Leading the Assassination Pack
YouTube had demonetized Russel Brand not for committing any infraction, but based solely on a new made-up rule that if women anonymously report unproven allegations and a scalp-hunting media outfit prints them, you're not allowed to speak or pursue gainful employment.
YouTube said Tuesday that Russell Brand will no longer make money from the video streaming site after several women made allegations of sexual assault against the comedian-turned-influencer. The BBC removed some of Brand's material from its streaming archive, joining a growing list of organizations distancing themselves from the performer, who denies sexual assault and has not been charged with any criminal offenses. YouTube said monetization of Brand's account, which has 6.6 million subscribers, has been suspended "following serious allegations against the creator."Specifically, they claim he's violating the company's deliberately-vague "content safety" rules. This is absurd; while Russel Brand may or may not be a danger to women in real life, his speech is no danger to anyone. He doesn't encourage violence or sexual assault. All he does is question the Right to Rule of the corporate state, which I guess is what they fear for the "safety" of. Long Live Google Fascism. They've wanted to ban him forever, and not for any sexual assault -- just for questioning the covid narratives and state-corporate power. But it gets worse: The UK Parliament is now saber-rattling and demanding that Rumble likewise act as state-deputized censorship agents, and ban Russel Brand. All because five women -- anonymously! -- made some claims about Brand which are now safely in no-surviving-evidence past of 15 years ago.
"This decision applies to all channels that may be owned or operated by Russell Brand," the Google-owned video service said.

One of the reasons this works on Yootoob, and presumably twatter too, is because their algorithms don't allow for individual advertisers to target individual sites/creators.
Rumble doesn't operate that way, and there is a clear opportunity for them to attract advertisers who will WANT to advertise on certain creators' channels.
Granted, they're not yet big enough to generate the kind of revenue Google and Farcebook do, but they could get there. Soon.

There was an actual case of a Hobo being accused of a crime for which there was no way he could have been there. Turned out he had gone to the hospital, and the same paramedic that wheeled him into the ambulance was also the same paramedic that responded to the murder scene. The belief is that a hobo hair got on his clothing and fell off at the crime scene...
