Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | There Were So Many Paid FBI Agents/Informants/Provocateurs at the January 6th Fedsurrection that the FBI "Lost Track" of Them All and Had to Perform an Audit to Figure Out How Many Paid Ringers It Had at the Staged EventThe FBI had so many paid informants at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, that it lost track of the number and had to perform a later audit to determine exactly how many "Confidential Human Sources" run by different FBI field offices were present that day, a former assistant director of the bureau has told lawmakers. At least one informant was communicating with his FBI handler as he entered the Capitol, according to Steven D'Antuono, formerly in charge of the bureau's Washington field office. D'Antuono has testified behind closed doors to the House Judiciary Committee that his office was aware before the riot that some of their informants would attend a "Stop the Steal" rally thrown by former President Donald Trump, but he only learned after the fact that informants run by other field offices also were present, along with others who had participated of their own accord. The Washington field office had to ask FBI headquarters "to do a poll or put out something to people saying w[ere] any CHSs involved," he said, so they could get a handle on the scale of the FBI's spying operations at the Capitol that day. "We started getting responses back" from FBI headquarters, added D'Antuono, which helped identify which field offices had planted confidential informants in the crowd. ... In a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray on Tuesday, Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) described D'Antuono's testimony as "extremely concerning." It suggests that "the FBI cannot adequately track the activities and operations of its informants, and that it lost control of its CHSs present at the Capitol on January 6," he wrote. "These revelations reinforce existing concerns, identified by Special Counsel [John] Durham, about the FBI's use of, and payment to, CHSs who have fabricated evidence and misrepresented information. "The Justice Department Inspector General also identified critical problems in the FBI's CHS program," Jordan added, "including the FBI's failure to fully vet CHSs and the FBI's willingness to ignore red flags that would call into question an informant's reliability."Relatedly:

Yes. It's just like Covid. Just like the Hunter laptop.
Just like any number of other ops, people know what it was, they know what happened, but it won't be officially acknowledged until it's safe to do so. And even then, there will be "personalities" on corporate media and in congress who will continue to peddle the fake lie. My guess is, most of the people currently serving time for J6 will be released within a year or two of next year's election. As I've mentioned before, I watched the entire january 6 protest on twitch. The channel I was watching was streaming around 15 people who were all live streaming it for their own channels.
It was very clear watching it that 99% of people were just being goofy. Walking around, taking selfies, smiling for the cameras. There were cops EVERYWHERE, their demeanor seemed entirely calm, other than when someone opened fire (we now know that was ashli babbitt being shot). There were, however, small, isolated groups of what looked like antifa black block (wearing all black, covered faces, helmets and backpacks) that were getting yelled at by the protestors. One tried to climb up some scaffolding and got pulled down by other protestors. I didn't see anything crazy from them, but they were DEFINITELY being more aggressive. How much do we want to bet that every single one of those people were all feds? Posted by: Harry Paratestes at September 20, 2023 03:02 PM (mj0Qp) 22

This should tell you a little something about the inner workings of the FBI and how the rank and file are no better than their managing masters.
Why so many paid informants? Well, because just about every field office was sucking up for that notability and eventual promotion. The organization as a whole is lost. Personal benefit trumps their legitimate purpose for being. As a result, the rank and file are just as malleable as those setting the political agenda guidelines. ++++ This is a fairly staggering example of operational incompetence. It is not surprising at all that the FBI planted spies everywhere - that's what secret police forces do - but this was a single event in a single place. To not know how many spies were seeded throughout the event is somewhat astonishing in terms of operational rigor. This wasn't some nationwide thing with dozens of offices involved, it was in one place and under one jurisdiction. How many people at the FBI run off half-cocked and do their own things without coordination or approval? Where in the hierarchy are these calls made? No wonder their terrorist grooming ops they run to snag headlines go sideways and get people killed so often. Operational failure like this indicates that way, way too many people in the organization are running private kingdoms and doing whatever the hell the want. What level implies autonomy of that level? Here is what I think happened:
The Deep State was worried about Trump, was worried about voter fraud being revealed, and wanted to ensure Trump could never run again. They also wanted to blackwash his supporters. So they set in motion the events that led to January 6. Originally, there were murmurs about antifa showing up, and how Proud Boys and others should be armed and ready to deal with them. The Feds tried to set up a violent riot, so they could call it an "insurrection", blah blah blah. But it never materialized. So they planted fake bombs at the DNC. They had their agent provocateurs try to incite violence at the capitol. Still didn't happen. So they decided to go with plan b, and have their agents try to cause chaos and just pretend it was this violent coup attempt or whatever. They did a shitty job, but they said "eh, we tried, good enough for government work." and the media/ deep state already had their narrative and just ran with it, even though the violence they hoped would happen did not. The Epps thing is interesting to me. If we assume that Epps is an FBI provocateur (and I think there is no reason to *not* assume that), the FBI pulling out all the stops to protect him is interesting behavior as far as internal security police tactics go in most cases.
Guys like Epps are in a high-risk position. If a provocateur gets caught, he may well end up dead. That's one of the risks of being a provocateur. If an op goes sideways and the provocateur gets swept up in the aftermath, that's another risk associated with the job. Normally, in a case like this, the political police would sacrifice the provocateur. It happened all the time in places like the USSR. Yeah, the provocateur is doing his job and expected (and probably got, at least to some degree) protection - but if shit hits the fan, the provocateur goes down. I assumed that the Feds expected the crowd to descend on the Capitol after Trump's speech and the huge number of FBI agitators wouldn't have been so obvious. And Pelosi and Pence wanted a disruption to the electoral college vote in order to prevent any objections and airing of fraud evidence. But the start of Trump's rally was delayed and messed up thier plans. They couldn't wait for Trump's crowd, so the Feds had to start the riot with the small crowd they had. Epps was at the 1st breach and whispered something to that guy (who was i think one of the convicted Proud Boys) to start shaking the bike rail fencing. Epps was then at the 2nd breach (blurred out on the FBI edited video with some timestamp during a trial but an astute court observer noted that the original video showed Epps clearly breaking through and encouraging the 2nd breach. Don't forget him holding overhead that large trump sign frame that was used to jam up into the police line. Some protestor got serious added jail time for just touching that sign. And orating the crowd by the hotel the night before to "go IN to the Capitol" while standing next to Salt Lake City based BLM Sullivan the fake cameraman.

138 I assumed that the Feds expected the crowd to descend on the Capitol after Trump's speech and the huge number of FBI agitators wouldn't have been so obvious. Your family scrapes together several thousand dollars to hire a criminal defense attorney for you. He says "well, you can take a chance fighting this. It will probably cost a minimum of $75,000, although it could easily be double that. It will be many MANY more months before you even get a trial date. Then you'll have a DC jury. Even if you're completely innocent, you could get sentenced to up to 20 years in prison." Then he says "or ... the prosecutor offered a plea. The rest was basically Feeb agents provocateur, the Capitol police letting in protester-tourists and a very few rowdy protesters who were "making a statement" by causing minor property damage but not attacking anyone. One evening, she comes up to his room in the house only wearing a robe, intimating she wants to have sex with him. What do you think he did?
