Merrick Garland perjures himself here, claiming that Weiss had "full authority" as he's previously pejuriously claimed, but prosecutors in other states could "refuse to partner with him" on investigating Hunter Biden. A movie that looks great in part because of its very disciplined use of CGI. The tower blocks are superimposed onto very real, very gritty slums. Those real slums were in Johannesburg, IIRC.

Dredd looked fabulous on the big screen. And had one of the best uses of 3-D I've ever seen in a movie (cuz all the principal photography was 3-D. Stellar sound too.

Since moving to a real house in a real neighborhood, I actually get trick-or-treaters. My prior place was a basement unit with a side entrance, so nobody even knew there was a house there and I got none.
I love it. It's fun. I go all-out and go with something unusual or exotic for candy. I try to buy stuff most people don't have on a regular basis but that's really good. It has gone well so far. Once last year, one of the kids had prior knowledge of the candy and was extremely excited about it. I like being a bit unexpected and not give out the same stuff everyone else is.
Halloween became a super-fun holiday after I moved.
