The Morning Report — 9/19/23

uawdpicketheel.jpg

Good morning, kids. Riffing off the latest episode of the podcast (here and in the sidebar) as well as Buck Throckmorton's terrific rant from yesterday, (linked here; reminder not to post comments on old threads) the UAW strike is the latest disturbance from within what seemingly is, or what is pimped as a "rainbow coalition" of constituencies and groups coming together to form a monolithic and unstoppable political force.

Their power and influence, obtained over these past 100-plus years sometimes legally but mostly otherwise, for sure has succeeded in turning this nation and society on its ear. Yet, the Achilles heel in this "paradise on earth" is that it ignores the very thing that it has sought to conquer. Try as they might to short-dick every cannibal in the Congo – the body count now is well over 150 million souls – communism, socialism, Nazism, progressivism, leftism will never overcome human nature.

So, the UAW rank and file are on strike not only for better wages and working conditions, at first glance seemingly outrageous in their demands, and not only as a reaction to the skyrocketing cost of living imposed on them, and all of us, by the political party and vegetable-in-chief that they themselves voted for. They are on strike for their own lives and livelihoods since the party they have backed since time immemorial now is out to destroy them via the madness of environmentalism. That, of course, is the purview of another strand of said rainbow coalition that is starting to fray and, please God, unravel.

Former President Donald Trump will skip next week’s second Republican presidential primary debate and hold a rally with striking autoworkers and other skilled tradesmen instead.

Trump, 77, is planning to hold the event, which will include a prime-time speech, in Detroit on Sept. 27 — the same night his GOP rivals will convene in California at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum for the second primary debate, a source familiar with the former president’s plans told The Post on Monday.

The move signals that Trump, who holds a nearly 44 point lead over his closest GOP primary opponent, is already looking past the GOP primaries and focusing his attention on defeating President Biden in 2024, in part, by courting union members in one the states he lost to the 80-year-old incumbent in 2020.

The move signals that Trump, who holds a nearly 44 point lead over his closest GOP primary opponent, is already looking past the GOP primaries and focusing his attention on defeating [so-called quote-unquote "president"] Biden in 2024, in part, by courting union members in one the states he lost to the 80-year-old incumbent in 2020.

“AUTOWORKERS, VOTE FOR TRUMP – I’LL MAKE YOU VICTORIOUS & RICH. IF YOUR ‘LEADERS’ WON’T ENDORSE ME, VOTE THEM OUT OF OFFICE, NOW. WITH THE DEMOCRATS & CROOKED JOE CALLING THE SHOTS, YOU’LL BE JOBLESS & PENNILESS WITHIN 4 YEARS. REMEMBER, BIDEN IS A CROOK WHO HAS BEEN PAID MILLIONS OF DOLLARS BY CHINA, & OTHERS. He is a Manchurian Candidate!!!” the former president added.

The strike against Detroit’s Big Three automakers – Ford, General Motors and Stellantis – entered its fourth day on Monday, with about 13,000 combined workers represented by the United Auto Workers union refusing to work at three factories unless they’re offered better wages and benefits.

The UAW union notably refused to endorse Biden in the spring, with President Shawn Fain expressing serious concerns about his [junta's] preference for electric vehicles.

But Fain has also charged that a second Trump presidency would be a “disaster.”

Biden has not recommended terms for a deal – the UAW is demanding a 40% pay raise for workers and a 32-hour work week – but he has endorsed the strike and has blasted “record profits” that he says automakers have not “shared fairly” with workers.

Trump lost Michigan to Biden by less than 3 percentage points in 2020 after previously defeating Hillary Clinton in Great Lake State by less than 1 percentage point.

First, Trump did not lose Michigan; it was stolen from him courtesy of a flooding toilet in Atlanta that resulted in the count being stopped, poll watchers booted from that Wayne County arena as pallets of counterfeit ballots were subsequently trucked in and counted. But I digress.

Second, this Shawn Fain stooge is not so much a weasel as he is perhaps concerned with his long term health, political and otherwise. Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants and company are an obvious existential threat yet a second Trump term would be a "disaster?" Given the economic miracle of just his first three years, if that's what Fain thinks was a disaster, he better shut his cake-hole, get on his knees and start praying for a "catastrophe."

Love him, hate him, support him or not, joining the strikers on the picket line is a brilliant move. I opined as such on the podcast so I'm flattered he took my advice to heart (yeah, right). Yet the contradiction of doing something to win votes in a state that by every indication is sure to be stolen yet again, even if every autoworker in the state and nation does cast a legitimate ballot for him, is kind of jarring. Whether Trump recognizes it as such, this is something that transcends electoral politics, even (if not more importantly) banana republic politics. This is how societal and cultural movements are born. It's kind of a shame that it's with a man whose ego gets in the way, with terrible results. Oh well, it is what it and it will be what it will be, as is will be the man.

Meanwhile, in another part of the forest, this is going on:

Le Cheval, which has operated in the Oakland area since 1985, said that it would permanently shut down at the end of September in part because of violent crime, according to CBS. While the restaurant had been robbed repeatedly, some patrons were robbed at gunpoint or had their cars stolen from directly in front of the restaurant.

“Even right in front of the restaurant, their car is still broken into. And they’re really mad. And they told me ‘Son, I love your restaurant. I love your food. I love your family, but I cannot come back to Oakland. A $30 meal becomes $500 something,” Son Tran, the owner of Le Cheval, told CBS.

“The lack of office workers did not kill us. The crime, the criminals killed us,” Tran added.

Other restaurants in Oakland have also faced escalating crime that has placed a strain on their businesses, according to CBS News Bay Area.

“It happens like almost every month,” Pim Soithong, co-owner of Pintoh Thai, told CBS. “And when we try to get help from the police. We know they are busy, but we call them for support, and they never show up.”

Oakland locals have criticized Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price for her “soft on crime” approach and lack of response to violence in the area. Auto theft has risen 46% in the town this year compared to the same time span last year, while reported robbery has increased by 30%, CBS reported.

“Mad, really mad, very disappointed. The politicians in Oakland here, they can do nothing, just talk only,” Tran told CBS.

Emphasis mine. No, Mr. Tran. The criminals didn't kill you. Democrats killed you, and if you voted for them, you and all those who cast ballots for them election after election after election killed you. The criminals were merely the weapon.

But wait. There's more! And back to Michigan we go, for something we covered a while back but still has cromulence, or Koran-ulence:

The Democrats are learning on a daily basis that there is more to politics than January 6 and hating Trump.  They are also learning that some voters think that their party has been hijacked by some pretty weird people who think that boys can be girls and girls can be boys.

Enter a community in Michigan.  This is the story:

The LGBTQ residents of Hamtramck, Michigan voiced their feelings of "betrayal" over the Muslim city council’s decision to remove Pride flags from public property, according to the Washington Post.

The council unanimously voted in June to ban Pride flags from public flag poles, citing a desire to respect the religious rights of citizens opposed to the symbol. This decision, months later, is still considered an act of betrayal by LGBTQ citizens to the symbol of "diversity" they hoped the council would uphold.

"Many residents in this tiny enclave just north of downtown Detroit saw these changes as a sign of Hamtramck’s progressiveness. The Muslim community that had previously experienced discrimination, including voter intimidation and resistance to mosques’ public call to prayer, had finally taken its seats at the table," the Post reported.

It continued, "Yet the ethnic, cultural and religious diversity that made Hamtramck something of a model is being put severely to the test. In June, after divisive debate, the six-member council blocked the display of Pride flags on city property -- action that has angered allies and members of the LGBTQ+ community, who feel that the support they provided the immigrant groups has been reciprocated with betrayal."

. . . Moral of the story:  Do not assume that supporting an immigrant is going to have them change fundamental religious values on marriage and sexuality.  They have their values and they won't let you poison their kids with books and messages that contradict what they believe.

Putting aside for a moment the highly problematic aspects of Islam and Muslims, be it they, auto workers and city dwellers are all taking it in the neck from the party they consistently vote for in every election. As a result, the combination of in-your-face policy disaster and a palpable feeling of being taken for granted (hello, Maui? black America?) has gotten these individuals rather irked, to say the least.

You'll recall back in the halcyon days of 2016, when Trump dared venture to where few if any previous Republican candidates ever did, the black community, he pointed out their perpetual misery by perpetually voting for Democrats and asked (paraphrasing) "What have you got to lose by voting for me?" For sure, some did. Did it make a huge difference in his margin of victory? Probably not but for sure blacks, Latinos and everyone who traditionally voted Democrat thrived like never before between 2017 and 2020. The COVID lockdown notwithstanding, that was an unmistakable and huge trend that made the Dems shit Joey's Depends heavier than a New Orleans levy breaking.

What I'm driving at is the big question: All of these Democrat constituency groups, many if not most have goals and priorities that are at odds with one another who are artificially held together by the common propaganda that America as founded, whitey and capitalism are their common enemy, are pissed off. They're pissed off at the Democrats for essentially not doing anything to help them. Can they ever and will they ever recognize that it's the Democrats themselves that are the root cause of their problems, overcome their preternatural, reflexive instincts to perpetually vote for their own destruction and at least stop that madness and stay home during Election Day Season, if not pull the lever for the other side?

Maybe Trump's trip to the picket line might go a long way in making that happen. Your move, DeSantis.

    ABOVE THE FOLD, BREAKING, NOTEWORTHY

  • Michael Walsh: "The boys who cried wolf have been at this for decades now, and their increasingly impatient desperation is a sign that they know the jig will soon be up. Gas and oil will not disappear; the internal-combustion engine will not be replaced by electric cars; space exploration will not be conducted via cavorite. But they'll find something else, equally fanciful, to complain about."
First Time Tragedy, Second Time Farce
  • Betsy McCaughey: "The White House unveiled a proposed rule Friday that would make it even harder than in the past for an incoming Republican president to wrest control of the left-leaning federal bureaucracy and actually implement the conservative policies promised to voters." (President Trump/DeSantis withholds all funding as is his purview. Check and mate, if either has the balls - jjs)

36 Azerbaijan on Tuesday demanded the “complete withdrawal” of Armenian forces from the Nagorno-Karabakh region as a condition for peace after launching “anti-terror operations” in the disputed territory.

“The only way to achieve peace and stability in the region is the unconditional and complete withdrawal of the Armenian armed forces from the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan and the dissolution of the so-called (Armenian separatist) regime,” Baku’s defence ministry said in a statement.
==========
Armenia on Tuesday accused Azerbaijan of unleashing “large-scale aggression” against the Armenian-populated separatist region of Karabakh, and claimed Baku was attempting “ethnic cleansing” in the region.

“On September 19, Azerbaijan unleashed another large-scale (act of) aggression against the people of Nagorno-Karabakh, aiming to complete its policy of ethnic cleansing,” Armenia’s foreign ministry said.

Too bad. I think he should leave the purpose of the strike - money - entirely at the door. Just hone in on poor management, corruption, political glad-handing, poor strategic decisions for the reasons of political correctness, etc.

The UAW's demands are fairly unreasonable, and I strongly suspect there won't be a lot of sympathy for the strike in America at large. There will be a lot of sympathy for sternly dressing down the corrupt and incompetent management of America's mega-corps, though, and aligning with the strikers - though not on any particular - could allow that to shine through.

55 What I'm driving at is the big question: All of these Democrat constituency groups, many if not most have goals and priorities that are at odds with one another who are artificially held together by the common propaganda that America as founded, whitey and capitalism are their common enemy, are pissed off.

58 At the end of the article, readers learn that 16 inhabitants of the building died, mainly of suspected overdoses, in just the first eight months of this year. With 305 apartments for the formerly homeless in the building, this represents a death rate of about 5 percent, though the actual rate is probably higher because apartments were not filled until partway through that time.

72 Trump’s political instincts and skills are once-in-a-generation. Love him or hate him, he has amazing skills as a vote getter. There is no longer a GOP primary contest, if there ever was one to begin with. He’s smart to pivot to the general now. Brandon is getting weaker in every way by the moment. Trump up slightly over the incumbent in the RCP average and if we were to have an even slightly fair election I believe Trump wins an EC landslide. I wonder if the GOP will genuinely work to ensure a fair election (rhetorical question)?

73 Biden has not recommended terms for a deal – the UAW is demanding a 40% pay raise for workers and a 32-hour work week – but he has endorsed the strike and has blasted “record profits” that he says automakers have not “shared fairly” with workers.

When did the workers kick in cash to build any new buildings? Profits get shared with investors.

The fact that you get a paycheck and get to come back every day is being "shared fairly".

Don't like it? Quit. Mortgage everything you own. Take out every penny you can in loans and start your own company. Really put some skin in the game.

Much of the laughable quality of American cars from the mid 70s through - depending on brand - the mid 90s can be laid at the feet of the UAW. Much of the high price for that laughable quality can also be laid there, too, in part.

But the lineup that didn't respond well to the market, the low-quality engineering (especially Chrysler), the incompetent application of new or new-to-the-domestic-market technologies (diesel engines and turbochargers come immediately to mind), the failure of the American automakers to keep up with other improvements like fuel injection, shrinking size and weight without compensating for interior space, and - crucially - the abject failure to negotiate acceptable deals with the UAW and contain price? All of that is on management.

Plenty of blame to go around.

119 Sorry. No sympathy for the UAW.

They are demanding a 40% wage increase. Because the CEOs got an outlandish one, they are demanding it, too. Yes, yes, it is "over the life of the contract," but the life of the contract is only as long as until the next strike. (Oh, and thanks for totally pricing cars out of my range.)

They have supported Democrats year after year after year after year, and they couldn't open their eyes to the fact that the Democrats F***ed them over at over opportunity in at least the last 30 years.

Another demand is a 32-hour workweek. (which is why I guess they need the 40% raise, too -- to offset getting the wage loss from working only 32 hours per week.)

Drive past a Ford plant parking lot and see how many of them DO NOT DRIVE THEIR OWN PRODUCT. Ditto GM.

They are demanding things that can't happen. They are living in the world of the 1960's when those were attainable. Times have changed. Do they really not think that the automobile companies won't just close them all down and offshore ALL manufacturing? The idiots at the top of the heap don't give a rat's a** about ANYONE else. And neither, apparently, does the UAW.

128 In the West, we're fed a steady diet of pro-sodomy agitprop from early childhood on. For my cohort, it was on TV, movies, and in the schools, but now it's total saturation - churches, the military, Presidents and Senators - all celebrate and genuflect before the glory and majesty of the butt-pirates.

But that's what it takes. A full-court press where you hear "love is love is love gay gay gay pride pride pride" every day of your life, because it takes a lot of indoctrination to overcome the natural revulsion toward gay sex. It takes even more to convince an entire society to be dominated and bullied by a small number of rump-ranging nancy-boys.

None of the people outside the West have undergone this increasingly bizarre regimen of propaganda conditioning - so they're never going to come around to it. Watching the American diplomatic and cultural establishments over the last fifteen years, as they attempt futilely to advance the cause of gayness in Asia, Africa, and Eastern Europe, has been interesting... they seem genuinely confused as to why the rest of the world won't see the beauty of a good old-fashioned butt-pluggin', American Style.

Yeah, a Constitutional Convention requires the active participation of other states. Far too many of them may want to introduce their OWN ideas into the Convention that are opposed to California's objectives.

132 Inflation creates many losers and a few winners.

e.g., the NYC families that were big in real estate went from being rich to dynastic rich as their rents went up but their interest payments stayed flat.

The winners are usually those who are closest to the new money and get first access to it. Bankers and governments top the list.

Normally, anyway. Rising interest is wreaking havoc within the banks, though, because they've structured everything around low interest and there's almost nobody left who is still working that has any memory or anything *other* than a falling-rate environment.

This time might look different. Not sure.

The big BlueOval (Ford) EV battery plants going up in TN and KY are hiring.... mostly EE types, IT people with strong AI credentials. Not much "hands on" as it's mostly robotics to assemble the batteries with all those toxic materials.

A lot of mortgage loans are at 3-4% from the pre-Biden years. With real inflation at 10% or more that means each of those loans is costing banks serious money.

Hell, some politician was suggesting the government institute a 3% mortgage rate whatever inflation is. If that came to be I'd buy as many McMansions as I could knowing the value of the dollars I'll have to pay back will be much less then the dollars I borrowed.

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) predicted UK inflation is set to come in at 7.2% for 2023, increasing its previous forecast of 6.9% from June. This would be the fastest rate across the G7 and third fastest across the G20.

Britain will also one of the worst performing advanced economies, with growth in 2023 only outpacing Germany and Argentina, while next year only Argentina will be below the UK.

The group downgraded its expectations for UK growth next year by 0.2 percentage points, saying it now expects the economy to expand by just 0.8pc in 2024.

This time, it was because of a toilet, where he had sat and shat and the porcelain receptacle of his last meal had shattered under his considerable weight and he had been impaled on a jagged jaw of ceramic political destiny that unmanned him and added to his sneer an undesirable high-pitched falsetto...

You know who holds trillions in mortages through mortgage-backed securities -- the Fed. Sure they're AAA-rated, but that's about payment risk, not interest rate risk.

I truly worry about the Fed going broke. It's a collection of twelve regional banks that are just banks, except that they have the magical power of being able to issue liabilities that bear no interest -- dollars!

The Fed actually lost money in its most recent reporting period. Usually it sends a boatload of profit to the Treasury.

If I could afford one, I would consider it. I live on 1/16 of an acre. That would work just fine. However, if next year moves along as planned (or the next 2, maybe), it will be worth very little as the requirement will be too much for it.

And just know that they'll discontinue the batteries in 5 years, so when the original dies, you'll struggle to find a replacement before the mower itself is dead mechanically and you'll need to buy a new one.

Well, my '06 Mustang GT has served me very well. 368,000 miles on the clock and no issues all these years. I really can't complain. In comparison, my 70 Chevelle, purchased new in May 1970, needed pretty much every panel replaced (rusted out) by the time the car was 10 years old. Engine ran for 345,000 miles before a rebuild. I restored the car in 1999 and drove it every day until I bought the GT in '06. It now has historic plates on it, and 676,000 miles on the clock. Never owned a foreign brand. Not in my 59 years of driving.

222 90 I can’t believe I’m gonna defend the UAW, but I’ll steal from Buck’s rant yesterday to do so…. 40% raise over 4 years is not unreasonable when you look at inflation under Brandon AND you look at the compensation packages for auto CEOs like the Ford guy who’s making like $20M a year while driving the company off an EV cliff. I support the UAW…. For the first time in my life; but these are unprecedented times, aren’t they?

40% more pay for 80% of the work, means a cost increase of 75% over the five year life, before benefit cost increases.

But that really doesn't matter. It's an illusion.

The explicit goal of Biden EV policies is putting every single one of those union guys out of work. All the value-add in EV is built in China. Maybe simple assembly work will be done in North America, but that will happen in Mexico. The Ford Motor Company and GM are going to be marketing names only, and probably owned by some Chinese company with an unpronounceable name.

Cruz is, of course, right.

This is an old Democrat play. An elections in the offing, and the underperforming(or, hell,"fortified" performing) candidate dies.

Then they parachute some Democrat hack in to take the deceased guy's place. Very convenient all around and not very murdery at all.

Biden's age makes him the perfect candidate(!) for this treatment.

Right before the DNC or, preferably for the Dims Betters, right after, Biden catches Pillow-Over-The-Face COVID or real COVID courtesy of of one the injections/pills he receives on a daily basis.

Most people are incapable of long term thinking. The unscrupulous make use of that. They appeal to emotion. Hey, sister, the MAN has kept the sisterhood down for generations. Be a boss-babe. You don't need no man. Have a kid on YOUR schedule. Then they tell men that what women want is, essentially, a woman with a penis. So they make both sexes effectively worthless to each other.

The typical 8kw transformer cannot fast charge and requires overnight plug in so that means wind and solar (home style that it) are worthless and that means your EV is power by coal and gas.

I like to think the Democrats pushed right up to it in 2020.

So yeah, "vote harder" is the trendy cynical retort but there is some limit--every valid vote for Trump requires another fraudulent vote for Biden.

Trump is the only candidate that will bring emotion to the race. That and a huge miracle will be needed to excite enough valid votes to outpace their fraud.

"The back forty' is a beloved American idiom. In the US, 1 township is 36 square miles (6 miles by 6 miles). Each square mile (a section of land) is divided into 16 subdivisions of 40 acres (1/4 mile by 1/4 mile)-- so a quarter section is 160 acres, a common unit of ownership in the early days of farming. The quarter-section farmer would own two 'front 40s' and two 'back 40s.'"

Probably 10-12 years ago a Suicide prevention organization did a study specifically on transgenders. The results were that in all categories (M->F, F->M, no one knows vs. close friends know vs. completely out) there was a 40+% chance of suicide attempt. This was not an LGBT organization with an agenda, it was an org focused on understanding why people are suicidal in order to prevent it.

The highest rate was in people who were living as trans completely out in the open.

40+%

They insist on blaming others for making trans suicidal, but how can that be when even someone who feels they are in the wrong body and has not told another person will try, maybe succeed, in taking their own life?

Hilarious.

Why do we use them? Why do the manufacturers prefer plastic to glass, I mean?

Weight is the biggest reason. Beverages are *heavy* and a glass bottle is also heavy. A glass bottle weighs about the same as its contents. A plastic bottle weighs much, much less than its contents. Lighter bottles mean higher shipping density, as weight is the major limiting factor in transportation. So eliminating plastic bottles will mean glass or paper (depending on the beverage). Most will need glass to contain carbonation and improve shelf stability. More glass means more weight means more trucks or more trips, means higher emissions.

This - since I am sure it is about The Dread Climate Change, even though I didn't read the article - will be almost perfectly counterproductive. More fuel will be burned and more product will be wasted to spoilage (for paper packaging) or breakage. Net increased waste, no matter what.

It's friggin' brilliant.

304 Thing is, there still has to be a pool of valid ballots to launder the fraudulent ones into.

Unless there is a unique identifier on each ballot and the computers are programmable to reject duplicate identifiers or missing identifiers, this is untrue.

“Margin of fraud” was always incredibly stupid, but there is no margin of fraud in any state where it is possible to run the same ballot over and over or where it is possible to print ballots as needed to run up the count. And where applying basic auditing to ballots is some sort of right wing coup attempt.

Let's actually hear what he has to say. The political climate as well as society and other factors have changed radically and he has to play to an audience.

Doesn't mean I'm wildly enthused about Trump, but this is a huge opportunity that goes beyond mere elections, rigged or not.

If you read my editorial, you'd get it.

340 Gays, fornicators, drunks, and any and every other human are welcome at our church. We accept you with open arms.

There won't be any celebration of your sin, though. And you'll be expected to stop.

342 That 'church' in Dallas should read up on what happened to those who worshiped a golden calf.

Be a real shame if a giant sinkhole somehow opened up beneath it while one of their 'services' is occurring.

I'm sure he has a few other suggested improvements if he had a full con-con; a simple amendment would get rid of the 2nd if that was all he was after.

The "election was rigged" "pallets of ballots" have passed their expiration points
If you seriously believed the game to be rigged why still play it ?

[Kurt: I'm not the one running for office, dick-breath, so I'm not playing that game. And the election was STOLEN, mostly at the last minute in 6 different states. There is massive video and eyewitness testimony to show at a bare minimum that it was compromised to such an extent that even imbeciles dumber than you believe they should call into question the outcome. You are a tedious, tiresome, irksome, banal, sub-literate hemorrhoid. Go suckle your mother's enema bag - jjs]

348 Good morning, all. Thanks, J.J.

Do I feel badly for productive UAW workers? I truly do. Once upon a time, spent considerable time inside a huge plant that made automotive components & operated around-the-clock with thousands of workers on OT & minimal work breaks. But, it became one of a group of 9, from a total of 23, idled & then closed due to cost cutting. (+/- 74,000 jobs were cut in 5 years.)

What's my point? One group takes power & priority with ripple affects, i.e., "For years, UPS Teamsters have been at risk from the dangers of heat-related issues nationwide. The new mandate (?) will ensure that in-cab air conditioning systems will be installed in vehicles including larger delivery vehicles, smaller sprinter vans, and brown package cars, purchased past January 1, 2024." (PS - NOT a workplace standard through DOT and/or OSHA, the latter of which does not govern OTR vehicles.) But when it seeps down through other companies including multinational e-commerce & indy contractor ops - maybe unionized by then - more big changes for the future.

And, obviously, the majority of big businesses, major unions & government are not operating in the blind.

Peace

355 Having first posited a counter-factual (the existence of "climate change"), they have proceeded to act on it as if it were real, offering all sorts of crackpot and cockamamie "solutions" that include a regression to sunshine and windmills, but pointedly do not include nuclear power, which gives their Luddite game away: they are opposed to anything that actually works and in favor of archaic and inadequate tech that history has long passed by.

This (from Walsh) is what I find so fantastical, and insane.

It reminds me of the "rape statistic" that was so weirdly popular six or eight years back, that 1 n 4 college girls had "suffered serious sexual assault or rape". At a dinner one night a friend repeated that number as if it were established fact. It was absolutely bizarre. Now, at similar dinners, women talk about the death of the planet in similar tones.

It's suburban women in my experience, who so fervently believe this crazy shit. Very strange.

357 You know how to stop crime in Kali?

Shoot the perps D-E-A-D.

Of course you'll go to jail, lose everything, your family will be hit with gov't-sanctionedignored death threats (or worse), be called a racist (if the perp was a protected color or gender "identity"). You'll be demonized.

But at least the police will show up, right?

358 Rather than seeking to obtain information openly from Mr. Patel’s official accounts, which would have provoked an immediate response and legal fight with the United States House of Representatives, DOJ instead sought—non-publicly and unconstitutionally—to access his private accounts through a third-party subpoena,”

By now, all judges (especially FISA ones) should be aware that any subpoena that comes from the FIB or the DOJ need to be looked at suspiciously if it relates to any politician on the wrong side of the aisle. Problem is, most of those judges are probably under blackmail by the same FIB and DOJ...

359 Four categories are listed in the amendment’s text: members of Congress, officers of the United States, members of any State legislature and executive or judicial officers of any State.

Oh goodie! That means we can disqualify Nancy P. and quite a few others for their acts of sedition and insurrection by setting up Trump, right?

Oh, that's right; the same cabal that runs the DOJ and FIB also control most of Congress...

360 Ok, I don't think they're gonna parachute Big Mike in, I think they'll wack Heels-Up on her next trip to Ukraine. They'll stage a Putin strike on AF-2 and use it to start WW3 and open up the Veep slot. Then, they'll either allow Slo-Joe to be impeached AND convicted/removed or he'll have an "aneurysm" and 25thed out. ANd Big Mike is in for the 4th & 5th Obama terms

361 Why is it that all crime problems feature the Amish. Is there a single Amish community one can point to that one desires to live in. All their festivals feature pagan dances, gunfire, drinkies and mass violence. Looting and rioting are usually added features. Random assaults against other races, the old, the weak and females are a given. Shop lifting appears to be their main occupation other than drug dealing and welfare.

There are some very industrious individuals who lecture lesser beings about their failures to acknowledge the superior attributes of the Amish; worship them; and pay the proper tribute to them in the form of affirmative action. Regardless of a lack of motivation, skill, intelligence, knowledge, attitude or determination, the Amish are best qualified to be selected for such categories as brain surgeon, pilot, nuclear physicist, geophysics, etc, on the basis of their inherent superior genes, chemistry and blessing of the flying spaghetti monster ridden by the High Lord Obama.
