Top Biden Immigration Official: Abolish ICE, Defund the Border Patrol, End Detention of Illegal Aliens

Of course. Our entire society, the whole government, and all of our institutions have been inverted, perverted, and turned inside-out. An agency which is charged with defending the border is now dedicated to destroying it.

A top Biden administration U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) official previously advocated to "abolish" Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and worked with an anti-ICE group, according to her previous work and statements reviewed by the Daily Caller News Foundation.
Avideh Moussavian began her tenure at USCIS in March 2022 and was later appointed to serve as the agency's chief of the Office of Policy and Strategy in March 2023. Before her work for the Biden administration, Moussavian tweeted in 2018 the hashtag "abolishICE," accusing the agency of "misleading the public and making our workplaces less safe." She has also advocated to "defund" ICE and CBP, according to a 2019 tweet.
Moussavian also worked between 2013 and 2022 for the National Immigration Law Center (NILC), a group that has advocated for defunding ICE and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and ending immigration detention.
In 2020, Moussavian co-authored a report on legal representation of immigrants facing deportation that advocated for ending immigration detention "altogether."
"Ultimately, it is best to coordinate the fights to abolish immigration detention and to guarantee universal representation at the local, state, and national levels. The collective struggle for immigrants' rights should strive to honor and achieve the visions of both movements, resulting in the right to counsel for immigrants facing deportation and the end of detention altogether. Achieving these outcomes can help shape an immigration system that is grounded in values of fairness and human dignity. The shared goal is to end an unjust mass enforcement and incarceration system," the report stated.
Also during her time at NILC, Moussavian led a presentation in which she advocated for the federal government to "release people from immigration detention to prevent the spread of COVID-19" and to provide health care to illegal immigrants amid the pandemic.

Americans used to be highly studious until the "counter culture" told people "we can skip some school, why go to learn the words of fools?"

IQ tests can't measure what was not in some educational program as a basis for measurement. So, you're kind of stuck with the state of competence in education for your inputs.

It has become popular to assert that IQ measures innate intelligence. That would only be possible if other factors were controlled for and the contrary position was taken by the folks who invented the tests.

Primarily what IQ tests is skill in spatial reasoning, logic, and mathematics. Aptitude is a component but naturally what a person spends their time learning or doing matters a good deal. Narrow it to spatial reasoning only and suddenly shepherds look very good.

That's the claim. But if you look at the test is about what you are expected to learn by a certain age.

And that's based on certain assumptions of what the educational institution has taught you. Yes, how studious you are probably has a certain lifelong consistency, but to substitute it as some sort Scientific study on mental competence, is a farce.

Education certainly changes IQ test scores. It's crazy to suggest people cannot train skill in reasoning or mathematics.

IQ tests and variants on them are typically applied on much older populations outside of research. The Army's usage and the SATs for instance. Testing on children is largely social sciences research and not what is examined for populations generally.

In absolute terms, if we were to use the US as an example, it is doubtful that the rapid IQ increase of the 20th century was attributable to evolution.

As 5-6 year old kids he would cite, from memory, encyclopedia essays and spell big assed words correctly while we played in the sand box. It made me and Bill look at each other and mentally say WTF? 369 Look out of the people who could be crowing about IQ, I should be one. I always test high. Sometimes at the max the test can measure. I was accepted for a trial membership into MENSA (but they were a bunch of elitists trying to take over the world like Pinky's friend).

Yes, there is a certain consistency with where I will place on an IQ test, but that has a lot to do with my personal curiosity, the receptivity of my brain, etc.

There can be an argument that somebody who is smart is more likely to be prone to enjoy class and pay attention. However, attentiveness is also enough to help you pass tests as well. Whether that is a marker for "intelligence" is also a question of cause or effect. Memory is also something that correlates with passing tests and scoring on the IQ test.

Memory helps in intellectual tasks, and you have to struggle more if you do not have the same memory, but that doesn't mean a lack of memory makes you "dumb".

Until my middle years, my lack of study was offset by my ability to picture words on the page and read them from my memory. I was pretty good at taking tests even when I didn't study that hard.
