The Morning Report — 6/21/23

chancehuntertodt.jpg

Good morning kids. Happy first day of summer. The descent into banana republic status is so in your face that you'd literally have to be Helen Keller with John Fetterman's brain function to not recognize it. To call what Hunter Biden got a "slap on the wrist" is up there with Hirohito telling the Japanese people that "The war has not necessarily gone to our advantage" after most of Japan had been vaporized, insofar as understatements of the century go. And that's not just in light of what is being done to Donald Trump, regardless of what you feel about him as quite probably the nominee. There are so many sickening examples of corruption and abuse of power coming from virtually all quarters of the junta that it's almost impossible to catalog all of them. Lest we forget how that junta obtained power in the first place. A stolen election in the wake of a Chi-Com combination biological weapon that was in fact funded by Anthony Fauci and the follow-on psy-op that locked down the country and allowed the election theft to occur in the first place. But I digress.

I saw this story and just about blew a fuse:

An accounting error led to the Pentagon valuing weapons based on replacement costs instead of the book price for systems during fiscal years 2022 and 2023, leading to an over-accounting of $6.2 billion — twice as high as previous estimates, Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh told reporters at a briefing Tuesday. The surplus money will be devoted toward additional aid packages before the current fiscal year ends, she added.

“It’s just going to go back into the pot of money that we have allocated for the future Pentagon stock drawdowns,” Singh said. . .

. . . The revelations come as specifics on funds remaining for further security packages are unclear and the 2023 Congressional budget cycle is coming to a close, according to the AP.

The Biden [junta] reported $40.7 billion in total security aid to Ukraine since 2021 after the latest tranche of weapons and equipment was announced on June 13, according to a fact sheet. But, the actual number may be just under $34 billion.

If only Al Capone's lawyer told the IRS this story, maybe Geraldo Rivera would've actually found something in that safe instead of stale air, rust and a cobwebs (i.e. the contents of Rivera's brain case). The cushions on Vanilli Milley's E-Ring office casting couch must be yuuuuge. Anyway, it's all good. Ukraine is saved! Can I get a "praise the Lord!" from the crowd on that one.

"Accounting error" my ass. They're raiding the Treasury plain and simple without any oversight from Congress (assuming Congress actually wants to engage in their core responsibility in the first place). There isn't a spit roast in hell hot enough for these shameless fucking crooks. And make room on that giant kebab skewer for those in Congress who will do absolutely nothing to stop this, either out of cowardice, sloth or likely because they're about as corrupt as the criminals they'r supposed to stop. And with that, I give you this item that broke late yesterday:

Independent journalist James O’Keefe dropped a bombshell video on BlackRock Inc. — a prominent investment management and financial services firm — revealing just how broad the company’s impact might be.

A journalist working for the O’Keefe Media Group (OMG) spoke with BlackRock recruiter Serge Varlay — who told her that because of the vast sums of money the company controls in the global market, they can essentially “run the world.” He began with a caveat, noting that BlackRock did not necessarily want people to notice what they were doing.

“They don’t want to be in the news. They don’t want people to talk about them. They don’t want to be anywhere on the radar,” he said, and when the journalist asked him why, he paused. “I don’t know, but I suspect it’s because it’s easier to do things when people aren’t thinking about it.”

Varlay went on to explain that while BlackRock might be one of the biggest players, the asset management firm was not the only game in town.

“All of these financial institutions, they buy politicians,” he said. “You can take this big f*** ton of money and buy people … It’s not who is the president, it’s who is controlling the wallet of the president. You could buy your candidates. First, there is the senators, these guys are f***ing cheap. Got 10 grand? You can buy a senator. I’ll give you 500k right now … It doesn’t matter who wins, they’re in my pocket.”

. . . “Ukraine is good for business, you know that right? Russia blows up Ukraine’s grain silos and the price of wheat is going to go mad up. The Ukrainian economy is tied very largely to the wheat market. The price of bread, literally everything goes up and down, this is fantastic if you’re trading,” Varlay continued, adding, “Volatility creates opportunity to make profit. War is real f***ing good for business. It’s exciting when s*** goes wrong, right?”

Varlay said several times that there were other financial institutions taking similar steps to “buy politicians” and influence the global markets, but that the sheer volume of capital that BlackRock was controlling made the company even more formidable.

“BlackRock manages $20 trillion. It’s incomprehensible numbers,” he said.

Ten lousy G's to buy out Lindsay Lightloafers? Even my couch probably has $10 grand in change between the cushions. Not as much as Vanilli Milley's and obviously for sure Larry Fink's. Pardon my not using "woke" math but at that rate $20 trillion buys you 2 billion senators . . . and a mule. Suddenly the mule reference coupled with all this talk of buying senators puts me in mind of going to Havana with Fredo, Johnny Ola and Senator Pat Geary from Nevada.

And like Pat Geary, once these people are bought they stay bought, regardless of what line of horseshit they sold the rubes in flyover country about how they were going to ride in and drain the swamp. No, that's not a dig at Trump. He meant it. He just didn't realize how deep, dark and wide the swamp is. Like Pacific Ocean-sized. Virtually all the others who glommed onto that message, whether they actually had those intentions or not, eventually got swamped themselves.

Meanwhile in another part of the forest, this item raised the BP along with the contents of my stomach:

Apparently as a counterpart to the ongoing lavish media attention paid to “Pride Month,” a media black hole has opened up and swallowed a horrifying story of 4 children, ages 5 to 10, rescued from a transsexual sex party in a Boston housing project that turned deadly. Nary a word about it from monarchs of mainstream media, including the hometown Boston Globe. But the always lively Boston Herald either didn’t get the memo or didn’t care.

Matthew Medsger and Joe Dwinell write:

Four children living in squalid conditions while being hidden from first responders were found in an apartment filled with “alcohol, drugs, sex toys” and a dead man, according to an incident report and outraged officials.

“This is sickening,” said At-Large City Councilor Michael Flaherty. “I was informed by people at the scene that there were drugs, alcohol, sex toys all around the apartment as well as a dead body on the floor.”

That fire department report, obtained by the Herald and confirmed by police response, states that a BFD crew was sent to Old Colony Avenue Saturday morning for a call that a man had gone into cardiac arrest and required medical attention. That address is the Mary Ellen McCormack Housing complex run by the city.

However, according to the incident report, firefighters found more than just a routine medical emergency.

“The apartment was in extremely unsanitary conditions. Approximately 6 adults, who appeared to be males, were seen in the apartment,” they wrote, saying they subsequently found “four children in the back bedroom being hidden by an adult male from first responders.”

. . . The sexualization of young children is a heinous crime that until very recently was regarded as meriting the severest of punishment. And yet now, we have a full court press from schools, NGOs, government agencies (even the US military with its Drag Queen Story Hours) and corporations pushing us in this direction. The result found in that disgusting Boston apartment is one of many inevitable consequences of this institutionalized madness.

Much of that "institutionalized madness" is bought and paid for by not only Larry Fink's $20 trillion but our tax dollars. And woe betide anyone who protests or objects lest they face the Trump treatment and be branded as "terrorists," "insurrectionists," and/or "bigots" who pose an "existential threat to our precious democracy" that Joey Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants railed against. That would be the same Joey Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants who's the sick, old, venal bastard who actually showered with his daughter and takes every opportunity to abuse and creep on little girls in front of public audiences, while raping staffers like Tara Reade in private. And now raping the country to death. Well, him and his Kontrollers at Kalorama Klown Kontrol.

And Hunter Biden is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I've ever known in my life.

But Trump said "pussy!"

10 ||Canadian aircraft detected underwater noises in the search area for the missing Titan submersible, the US Coast Guard said early on Wednesday, amid US media reports that regular banging sounds had been picked up.

The discovery on Tuesday led search teams to relocate their underwater robotic search operations “in an attempt to explore the origin of the noises”, the Coast Guard said in a series of tweets. The searches by remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) came up empty-handed but would continue, the Coast Guard said.

The Coast Guard did not state the nature or extent of the sounds, or how they were picked up.||

People say "EVs are more reliable and require less maintenance then ICE vehicles". There is a buttload of electronics in EVs, and transistors, capacitors, and computers fail all the time. One burnt transistor can take down the whole car.
As the cars get some age on them, people will find out that EVs are like appliances. One stupid circuit board will cause you to chuck the whole thing because who knows what will break next.

This is what really pissed me off about the John Bolton revelations. I wasn't shocked or even upset to learn that he was for sale. Everyone in Washington is a whore. I was shocked to learn how cheaply he could be bought. When I learned that *I* - just a somewhat well-to-do W2 worker - could easily afford to buy a politician (assuming I had the connections, which I don't), *that* made me mad.

55 The trick likely is not to bribe MoC's and senators too much at one time so they don't get too big for their britches. Dribbling the slop to the pigs likely is a fine art. It was pretty obvious from the start of the Ukraine bloodbath it was a grift and provoked and prolonged to replace and enhance the Afghan revenue stream.

The United States military is just like its public education system: the recipient of excessive money that produces consistent failure. The military budget easily could be cut 70 to 80 percent and the performance would remain the same, i.e., failure writ large as far as losses and surrenders. The primary goal of today's military, revenue streams, would be the only thing impacted. Therefore, the massive looting will continue until the checks bounce.

58 For the USCCB and various Catholic agencies, illegal immigration means wealth. The Catholic Church in the United States exploits Latin American migrants entering illegally to enrich itself with money from taxpayers.

The amount of federal immigration funding Catholic agencies received during the past 15 years grew exponentially. For Fiscal Year 2008, those organizations received $85 million. In Fiscal Year 2022, the total exploded to $618 million. During those 15 years, Catholic groups received $3.053 billion, among the highest totals for all charitable agencies.

Former CNN producer John Griffin sentenced to 19 years in prison for sexually abusing 9-year-old girl
||Former CNN producer John Griffin has been sentenced to more than 19 years in prison for sexually abusing a 9-year-old girl with the help of her mother, prosecutors say.

Griffin, formerly of Stamford, Connecticut, pleaded guilty in December to using interstate commerce to entice and coerce a minor to engage in unlawful sexual activity. In return for his plea, the government dropped two other counts.

On Tuesday, Griffin was sentenced to 19.5 years in prison followed by 15 years of supervised release. [...]

In return for Griffin’s guilty plea, prosecutors dropped two counts relating to allegations that he also tried to entice two other children to engage in sexual activity. One of those allegations referred to a mother and her 14-year-old daughter, whom he offered a “virtual training session.”

Griffin worked at CNN for about 8 years and was fired after his arrest in December 2021. ||

This is likely another Dr. Gosnell's abortion house of horrors situation. If you catch him you give the wrong side a big win; it validates what they've been warning about.

NO ONE who knew what was going on did or said anything because they didn't want their life destroyed with public smears of being "transphobic" (during pride month, no less!!) -- or worse, they decided a few kids lives weren't worth saving vs. the damage this story does to the LGBTQ community.

It may not have been gamed out that way at all. I even kind of doubt it was. That's pretty strategic-level thinking, and not the kind of thing that is common in the ranks of city government.

It is probably much simpler than that: these were deviant pervert criminals and the city supported them (or at least decided not to interfere with them) on general principles. That's my guess.

85 It is truly weird that the press is so intent on pushing the Krispy Kreme load on America. In their desperation to beat Trump, they've lost sight of the fact that the more candidates run, the easier time Trump has winning nomination. That's how he won in 2016, when he won the GOP nod with a plurality and not a majority.
Posted by: Huck Follywood at June 21, 2023 08:05 AM (Z7kXD)

Sometime in the last week or two Sundance at Conservative Treehouse did a piece on the growing number of GOPe candidates. Essentially each candidate(with a couple of exceptions) has a specific purpose and GOPe mission--on a State by State basis and the timing of the primaries in those States. . In its own perverse way the strategy the GOPe is using to damage/destroy Trump FAR exceeds any thought or effort that same GOPe ever puts into opposing the DemCommies.
Trump brings out heretofore unknown abilities of the GOPe that demonstrate perfectly that the GOPe is committed to losing the 2024 general election as long as they defeat Trump in the primaries.

"The diary entry referred back to an incident in October 2021, when her daughter Ray, a 6th grader at ASK Academy charter school in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, was allegedly raped inside the girls’ bathroom by an older biological male student.

When the male student first entered the girls’ restroom, Ray said she was washing her hands and didn’t take particular notice of the student’s sex, nor was she aware of his “gender identity.”

But before she knew it, the male student walked over to her, pinned her against the counter, and wrestled her to the floor. After hitting her head, he allegedly held her down, ripped her pants, and raped her.

Maggie now believes the main reason a male student was alone with her daughter that day, and had the opportunity to rape her, is because the school had fully embraced gender ideology. "

I'm thinking of the UK rape gangs that operated for years and years while the local police and government officials protected them. The parents who tried to stop it were vilified as racists and prosecuted for any action they took (see: Tommy Robinson). They were branded "racists" and "islamaphobes."

When your police chief and city leaders all fly the pride flag, promote the local pride leaders, etc.. you know that doing anything that would embarrass them and their friends is *not* in your best interests. People are not that stupid -- they respond to incentives, particularly in an age where one viral video or careless quote can provoke the mob /get you targeted for destruction.

129 Marcus I get what you're saying but effectively Catholic Charities has an IMMENSE amount of power here in the US RCC

they support local parishes and schools and demand "preschools" and other support features that the actual (legal) parishioners don't need, but who cares b/c CC is buying amiright? that's a toe in the door to effective control of the rest of the parish school and the parish itself.

the more wealthy parish locations know the drill and keep them out (usually just blaming zoning) but this is affecting parishes around me and not in a good way.

Catholic Charities has far more influence than the US Archidioceses' have

that's just the Step One money. then they get money to build shelters and housing and schooling etc etc. it grows into an entire well-financed (by you!) ecosystem with plenty of extra for the "helpers."

139 Trump announced June 16, 2015.
July 1st, the polls had Jeb! at 19% and Trump at 12%, up from 3% prior to the announcement.

By September, Trump was only at 21% and Ben Carson was 2nd at 20%. Jerb was at 7%. Of note, Trump's unfavorablity was underwater 25-58.
Every poll had Clinton beating any Republican.

Neither DeSantis or Trump can or will win against Biden under their current strategy/platform.
Trump can't win because he continues to make the campaign about him.
DeSantis can't win because he's running a 1998 Republican campaign; no bold actions.

160 Straight from the horse's mouth. This is the real reason elections don't matter. Vote fraud is a problem, no doubt, but the big fraud is the lie about this being be a representative government instead of a corrupt, authoritarian one-party superstate where the elected offices are just window dressing.

When the FUSA was started, the ratio was 1:5000 of representatives to voters, now it is 1:800,000. Five thousand men could keep a representative in line, ten times that and the Party stewards, lobbyists and top donors are the only ones "represented".

I think the Blackrock video is pure bullshit, no doubt that Blackrock does have influence; it isn't the $10k, its the $20 trillion. It isn't the one time bribe, its the insider information trading, the sinecures and the board positions available to senators that play along.

161 An unprecedented global canvassing of Catholics has called for the church to take concrete steps to promote women to decision-making roles, for a “radical inclusion” of the LGBTQ+ community and for new accountability measures to check how bishops exercise authority.

He's not perfect but I love how this pope is making the conservatives catholics heads explode. Soon there will be another Nazi in the Vatican. But I'm loving this pope's exposure of the hypocrisy and sexism in their past policies.

The american catholic church is a rogue one, RW conservative leaning & tolerant of priests abusing children. It is more of a cult than a church.

Meanwhile, Southern Baptists have decided to go backward to the 1700s by denying women any role in their churches except perhaps cleaning the church after services or volunteering to clean their male pastor’s home.

Left the Roman Catholic Church long long ago but am in admiration and respect for this Pope. He had me at the treatise on the Environment.

163 Great post as always, JJ!
It does my heart good to know that there's still thinkers who are both conservative and moral, who see so clearly what is happening and know whence the lies come and who tells them.
The sad part is that there are so very FEW of you left. Even Congressional reps and senators I used to have a thread of faith in have completely snapped that thread. And when I read your words in the morning over coffee, I am reminded (and I mean this sincerely, not as any flattery) of the late, confident and always precise Rush Limbaugh. He told it like it was and spoke for the real America.
One wonders what his situation would be right now, were he still in this world. I imagine the regime's Stasi, the FBI would have jailed him over a cooked-up, January 6 charge or some tax gotcha scheme of the politicized IRS.
More and more, we are slouching towards 1984. At least voices in the wilderness like you, James O'Keffe, Tucker Carlson, Tim Poole and others are out there and that makes me at least calm in the storm. I am not alone.
God Bless.

171 Good morning, all, and thank you, J.J.

We're just warming up dumping $ at/in (something) Ukraine.

Early 6/16, Laurence Tribe Twitter had, I’m writing a comprehensive report for the @kaplanrobbie firm on behalf of @Renew_Democracy to help launch this effort to save Ukraine by examining the legal authority President Biden already has to transfer the Russian assets frozen here to Ukraine —now! His tweet also referenced an article, "The Other Offensive to Save Ukraine. A new European recovery program," in Foreign Affairs, by Larry Summers, etc.

FYI - Kaplan Robbie won Charlottesville. Renew Democracy > Founder, Garry Kasparov, Founded 2017, President, Senator Heidi Heitkamp. Heitkamp named Dir. of UChicago's Institute of Politics, effective Jan. 3, 2023, succeeding D. Axelrod.

And 6/15/23, Financial Times wrote, US senators launch bill to seize and transfer Russian assets to Ukraine. Bipartisan push comes amid debate over how to help Kyiv pay for reconstruction from the war. "...it calls on Biden to push for the establishment of a “common international compensation mechanism” with foreign partners as an additional way to funnel the seized Russian money to Kyiv.

190 ||A US federal judge on Tuesday struck down a law prohibiting minors from gender transition treatment in Arkansas, the first time such a restriction has been overturned as similar laws are enacted in Republican-led states.

Judge Jay Moody ruled the law was unconstitutional because it violated the rights of doctors to provide medical care and discriminates against transgender people.

“The evidence showed that the prohibited medical care improves the mental health and well-being of patients and that, by prohibiting it, the state undermined the interests it claims to be advancing,” the judge said.

Arkansas, a conservative-leaning southern state, in 2021 became the first to ban minors from accessing hormonal or surgical gender transition treatments.

Since then, around 20 other US states have followed suit, including Florida and Texas.||

Sure. They can't just steal it all for themselves. They have to *move* the money in order to steal it. The government often operates as a gigantic cash-in-transit heist scheme. Small-time crooks hit armored cars. Big-time government crooks hit entire banks and asset classes.

By moving the seized (and stationary) assets to Ukraine, they can skim to their hearts' content while it's in motion.

206 WP Opinion piece ostensibly on "why is Biden unpopular?", but actually making excuses for him and gaslighting the paper's already lefty readers.

Biden shouldn’t be as unpopular as Trump — but he is. Trump was one of the most unpopular presidents in recent history. That made sense — Trump was bad at governing...Joe Biden has been just as unpopular as Trump was, and at times even more so. That’s not necessarily bad for the Democrats. But it’s bad for democracy.

What’s harder to understand is why Biden is so unpopular...Inflation is unusually high...The president’s centrist, bipartisan approach likely ensures a bloc of younger and more progressive Democrats won’t be thrilled with him. Voters in Britain, Canada, France and numerous other countries are also dissatisfied with their leaders, according to polls, so perhaps it’s almost impossible to be a popular politician in 2023.

But Biden hired competent advisers, successfully managed crises such as the potential debt default, enacted legislation that polls well with the public, reached deals with the opposite party, made smart decisions on foreign policy, and acted with dignity and grace....

Which is $60k per year, or $900k over 15 years 'til the kid turns 18.

It's a middle-class income for the rest of the kid's childhood. Is it fair, given how much Hunter is worth (all stolen, but nonetheless, he's got it) and how he's behaved? No, not if child support is supposed to be punitive (it isn't supposed to be, but it often/usually is). If it's not supposed to be punitive, then yeah - it probably is.

To everything (turn, turn) there is a season (turn, turn) and a time to every purpose under heaven. A time to reap, a time to sow. A time to be born, a time to die. A time to kill, a time to heal. A time to laugh, a time to weep. A time to gather stones together, a time to scatter stones apart. Etc, etc:

The time of Turning is upon us. Sol Invictus reaches maximum declination at 23 degree, 25', and 18.4 seconds. For the next four hours Sol stands still. Sol-stice = Sun still.

Astronomical summer begins. The Turning, with a Clockwork of Astronomical precision spanning millions of years has, on time, ephemeris time, begun again.

The best laid plans of mice and men are but a trifle to the seasons of astronomical clockwork.

📌#Philadelphia | #PA
Currently Multiple Law enforcements are at scene at the fresh grocery store located in Philadelphia after police say a security called to report that three teens aged around roughly around 16 to 19 years old wearing all black clothing, tried to light up the sticks of dynamite inside the store. Count, if you look-up sunset time in H-Town for the next couple weeks, you'll find it actually gets a few minutes later for a while then remains the same for a time before finally getting earlier. Sunrise slooooowly gets later in that period. It's the opposite at the Winter solstice. Must because the Earth is not perfectly spherical. All I know is, it's gonna remain HOT in the early evening for quite a while.

There have never been any deaths by trampling during the Hajj to Bucc-ees.

348 A journalist working for the O’Keefe Media Group (OMG) spoke with BlackRock recruiter Serge Varlay — who told her that because of the vast sums of money the company controls in the global market, they can essentially “run the world.” He began with a caveat, noting that BlackRock did not necessarily want people to notice what they were doing.

“They don’t want to be in the news. They don’t want people to talk about them. They don’t want to be anywhere on the radar,” he said, and when the journalist asked him why, he paused. “I don’t know, but I suspect it’s because it’s easier to do things when people aren’t thinking about it.”

They just can't help themselves, they have to brag how they are the masters of the universe. This guy has blown all their covers, whenever anything goes wrong now we will blame them.

I think these big arrogant conglomerates may need some anti-trust action.

You guys really need to read Buchan's 'The Power House' to discover why Blackrock chose Blackrock as their name. Buchan also wrote 'The Thirty-nine Steps.' He was a spy-suspense novelist in the early 1900s. Basically, Ian Fleming before Ian Fleming.

357 TMZ, 40 minutes ago, Missing Submarine Search Crews Hear 'Banging' Noises On Their Sonars (Their a little late on their pickup of the story, but...) IDK, something seems off. I know technology has changed greatly over decades but how could it possibly get that (Titanic sunk depth) deep in the 1st place? I'm thinking about the USS Thresher SSN-593 mishap, slightly more than 60 years ago.

Press & Guide: On April 9, 1963, the Thresher was 220 miles east of Cape Cod conducting diving tests. It was the first submarine to use the new HY-80 steel alloy, and the Navy was eager to determine how deep the new design could safely dive. At 9:13 a.m., while at a depth of 1,300 feet, the submarine radioed the rescue ship U.S.S.

At what depth did the USS Thresher implode?
U.S. Naval Institute: 2,400 feet. Multiple lines of evidence confirm that the Thresher did not experience major flooding before the collapse of her pressure hull at a depth of 2,400 feet.

Good article - U.S. Naval Institute (usni dot org), "What Killed the Thresher?"

362 “First, there is the senators, these guys are f***ing cheap. Got 10 grand? You can buy a senator. I’ll give you 500k right now … It doesn’t matter who wins, they’re in my pocket.”...BlackRock manages $20 trillion. It’s incomprehensible numbers,” he said.

And who are the big investors that control Blackrock? Who's on their board? https://is.gd/oB9Xf3
CEO Larry Fink. Wikipedia:" BlackRock's contract allowed Fink to cultivate relationships with Obama's first Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and additional members of the Obama economic recovery team. In 2016 Fink hoped to become part of the federal government himself as Hillary Clinton's Treasury Secretary."
I'm sure the bulk, if not all, of the others are of the same cloth.

365 "I saw this story and just about blew a fuse:"

Why? This is a stupid take.

The dollar price tag assigned to the old stock we'd been unloading was criticized by anyone in the know and paying attention as being wildly inflated. And that's not even counting the common situation where simply shipping it overseas was significantly cheaper than the cost of the demil operations the stuff was originally slated for.

366 When you sell the partially depreciated, used, or simply previously owned equipment it will usually have to be replaced. The money you spend to replace it is called "replacement cost".
So, you see, there is no extra money to give to Ukraine unless your plan is to deplete US weapons stockpiles. Is that President Biden's plan?
