Conservatives are not opening women's locker rooms and women's sports to men; conservatives aren't grooming children with porn in the schools and hiding their children's mental health from parents; conservatives aren't engaged in pushing a "not-so-secret" queer agenda in children's programming. And conservatives are not pushing a radical ideology that begins with the assumption that America is evil and that Western Civilization needs to be destroyed. The Left is, and they own the institutions. They can censor us, cancel us, deprive us of jobs, sic the FBI after us, and even change laws in a manner designed to protect pedophiles. Unless you are willing to submit to their demands, your only alternative is to fight back. Paul Ryan is arguing we should submit. No. Hell no! ... The Catholic Church has, as part of its doctrine of faith, that men and women are the same, but play different roles in the Church. I can get further into the theological underpinnings, but it shouldn't be necessary.
As conservatives, we already accept that men and women are equal and equally important, but those equality concepts do not require them to be the same and to do all the same things. In fact, we know they are both different and can sometimes do things the other can't (like birthing children).
And as conservative Catholics, just like we'd never ask why men can't be nuns, we'd never ask why women can't be priests. It's like asking why the sky can't be polka-dotted.

There have always been a large number of evangelical and pentecostal female preachers; some of the most conservative preachers in this country are female preachers. This has nothing to do with any actual Christian beliefs, and everything to do with an overcontrolling heirarchy.

RC often prefers Holy Tradition than God's Word when the two collide. For example, Matthew 23:9 says "Don't call anyone on earth Father for you have one Father and He is in heaven" (referring to a spiritual context Father) yet the priests are called "Father".
Paul, in letters to Timothy also describes what makes an ideal Elder/Bishop or Deacon, and it is a man with one wife who has his household (referring to children) in order. The RC threw that away in favor of Paul stating a fact (1 Cor 7) that unmarried men are not weighed down with "the things of this world" as a caution not a dictate or command to be single in the ministry.

no, the Junia/Junias thing is that Paul lists Junia the Apostle in Romans 16:8 (outstanding among the apostles). It's very clearly a female name in the original text but it's such a problem for those that argue about what the various offices are and that in particular there's no way that a woman could have been an apostle that they change it to a man's name.
It would be one thing if you held a certain view and were willing to deal with the points in scripture that are problematic to that view. It's something else entirely when you mislead all of English speaking Christianity by willfully mis-translating her name just to bury the reference and make it go away. IIRC the KJV started this I'm not certain.

"Equal" without qualifiers is the issue, because on its own, it's meaningless fluff. We are certainly not equal in physical capacity, as women's sports are discovering the hard way. There's no reason to believe that we are equal in other capacities-just look at all the restrictions that have to be placed on men to accomodate women in the workplace and society generally.
The only sense that we are equal in the Church is that are sins merit the same punishment, and the same price was paid for them-but that's not the equal that feminists are pushing.
We have had a hundred years of progressivism in all its forms, including feminism, corrupting this country. We can surely judge the idea on the fruit it has born, like 65+ million blood sacrifices to the god of this world, the suppression of wages so that single earner couples with children are a rarity with the damage that does to the children, and so forth.

Also would require a conscience, morality, ethics and character - almost none of that is found within the SBC hierarchy. Like almost everything else falls into Eric Hoffer's observation: "Every great cause begins as a movement, becomes a business, and eventually degenerates into a racket."

I always try to think about the "why" of things like, why did our ancestors settle on the idea of only males taking on the particular job of the priesthood? they might have had a good reason, not necessarily one easy to voice, but something proven by time and experience.

Tell me why Paul's entire treatise in Romans is about sin coming through the first Adam if sin is all just Eve's fault. And how Christ can then absolve sin as the second Adam.

I said he stepped back, not that he was absent.
Eve is the one that was deceived (which Paul also said explicitly in another context you've apparently decided to ignore), and Adam went along with it, when he should have been her head and rejected Satan's advice on her behalf.

Christ's nature is sinless because He is God.
No further explanation or invention is needed. Mary, a sinner like the rest of us, contributed nothing to His sinlessness as his body was a creative work of the Holy Spirit. She incubated Him, as every other mother does her baby, but no conscious effort is involved in that, once conceived, the formation of His body was the result of the same biological processes as the rest of us.

Arguing that collectivism is immoral, steals the fruit of the labor of the worker, and requires the creation of an aristocracy to redistribute wealth is a better argument. 1) it's true and 2) it has the virtue of jettisoning those bloodless policy wonks from the discussion.
