The Great Chicken War Cafe

stokknesiceland.jpg
Stokksnes, Iceland
by @indefinitely_lost

Dog isn't enthralled by the latest Disney Marvel tv show.

Tail on. Tail off. Tail on. Tail off.

Leaders lead.

Followers follow.

Followers follow, and get some Lunge GAINZZZ too.

Leaders lead, unless they can't keep up, then they struggle to follow.

This cat really doesn't like the water.

Having fun with a great big crevasse.

What happens to an electric fence when it's hit by lightning? Same thing that happens to everything else. Boy, that line stinks on a blog just the same way it stinks in an X-Men movie.

Dogs have different methods for drinking water.

Dog and crow are frenz.

The elite thief.

The brutish robber.

The Great Chicken War of 2023. Contains a couple of f-bombs.

We quite enjoyed it, except that I didn't enjoy the prolonged fight between the Russian guy and John McClane, I found it unbelievable that McClane would be able to fight after losing so much blood, and the Russian guy coming back to attack McClane after his being severely beaten and hung up in chains seemed more like a horror film (Freddy Krueger meets action thriller sort of thing) than anything else. Good performances by Bruce Willis and Alan Rickman. Final grade B plus. Thanks for asking.

These are often people that were so dangerous and abusive that they were no longer welcome in their families' homes, and unwilling to accept any help in changing their situation. The unfortunates that are forced to accept this quartering will become victims and will be unable to get them out of their homes once the abuse starts.

There are coal field fires that have been burning in China for hundreds of years. No one knows how they started, speculation is they started from lightning striking a coal seam that was close to the surface, but they occur all over the country. The government tries to put them out but they are massive and they can't keep up.

67 willowed from last thread, and I am reposting it just in case this is info somebody might need:
ticks can transmit the Lyme bacteria as soon as they start feeding. Fewer than 50% of people with Lyme get a bull's eye rash. The doxy must be taken immediately after the bite and for a 6 week course. And that may not be enough, even, to kill the bacteria. Ticks transmit more than the Borrelia bacteria-- they have been known to carry more than 19 different bacteria and viruses. Ehrlichia, Babesia and Mycoplasma are just three of the commonly known co-infections.

85 72 One that I have noted is that older people are perpetually frightened of government - my MIL freaks if the city calls me for any of those canned "announcements" they like to give about upcoming civic events in town...

"Oh no! The city, the city is calling! Oh my god, should I hang up! - Oh, oh my goodness, oh, oh they are calling you again! Are you in trouble?!!"

This - this retarded Turkey-Lurkey attitude - is how the FBI and the DOJ know they can control so many in the US.

175 It is true that one thing coming out of the Uke-Russian war is that if you can see an enemy you can kill it - there are all sorts of videos of both sides hitting tanks/AFVs seemingly out of nowhere with missiles, infantry anti-tank, and artillery.

The obvious answer is "power armor" which would give you the profile of infantry with the ability to carry heavy firepower, but I wonder if the answer until then is just infantry with good comm systems back to where the heavy firepower is?

I remember one pivotal scene in Battle Los Angeles was when the American infantry unit finds the alien command ship and calls in a missile barrage...

You can rent a propane tank for less than $100 / year, plus installation. You can get some time out of that. Long enough to get neighbors into a defensive perimeter, and set up some L-shaped ambushes.

I think Joe's brain was eaten by aliens. A long time ago. The taste and after effects made them stop abducting humans for food in case more human brains were as bad as Joe's. Since then the aliens only eat cow organs.
