Whoa: Newsmax Defeated CNN On Friday, To Become the Third-Rated Cable TV Channel

This is huge!

Sure, it's just a one-night win, but a long time ago, Fox News posted a one-night win over CNN, too.

Before consistently trouncing it night-after-night.

Now, I think it's pretty obvious what's going on: Leftwing Karens are temporarily boycotting CNN because their delicate feelings were hurt when CNN "platformed" Donald Trump. (Corrected.)

But CNN's ratings weren't just low -- Newsmax's are very high.

Fox has lost a ton of viewers and they have migrated to Newsmax. And I'm pretty certain they won't be migrating back to Fox this time, as they did after the wrong call for Arizona voting in 2020. This time people understand Goldfinger's quote:

The first time is happenstance.
Twice is coincidence.
The third time it's enemy action.

But Fox's loss is Newsmax's gain -- and CNN's humiliation.

Newsmax defeated CNN in Friday's prime-time ratings to become the nation's third-highest-rated cable news channel. The news marks the latest embarrassment for CNN, an already-declining, left-wing propaganda network responsible for peddling numerous lies and regime-approved narratives in recent years.

According to figures from Nielsen Media Research, Newsmax's "Eric Bolling The Balance" recorded 467,000 viewers in the 8 p.m. ET hour. Meanwhile, only 447,000 watched CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360." In the 9 p.m. ET hour, radio host Chris Plante's new program, "The Right Squad," garnered 32,000 more viewers than CNN's "Whole Story" (325,000 to 293,000).

Lastly, in the 10 p.m. ET slot, "Greg Kelly Reports" scored 278,000 viewers while "Who's Talking to Chris Wallace?" only managed to notch 263,000.

The first and second slots for Friday's prime-time ratings were taken by Fox News and MSNBC, respectively.

"Newsmax has witnessed a consistent, positive trend for weeks and we are looking forward to enormous interest in the network as we draw closer to the GOP primaries and '24 election," Newsmax CEO Christopher Ruddy said in a statement.

142 Willowed and all but just to add that different Senate offices worked/work very differently, depending. Some senators are influenced (and not unreasonably) on certain issues by actually qualified and good staff. This usually occurs in the areas of their major committee assignments, and interest. There are completely vapid senators (Biden was one, though there was usually one or two dumber than he is, say, a Chic Hecht, Larry Pressler, or Patty Murray), and there are some who are fairly sharp. A lot of variety. Also variety in the staff's role and importance.

>>Babylon 5 special effects were done on Amigas, I believe.

Yes, the head effects artist used to work at a store called Amigination in NYC, he would use his lunch hours and spare time to learn Scultp 4d and Imagine, which were the main 3D programs on the Amiga at that time.

He put his demo together and sent it out, and the rest is history.

Posted by: rhennigantx
---------
Nope, I think you are confusing it with fibromyalgia. Psoriasis comes from bad genetics and has been around even in ancient times confused with leprosy. It is not from a reduced immune response or viral infection such as shingles but an overactive one that is more closely aligned with childhood allergies and perhaps exposure to environmental chemicals and so on.

It can turn nasty into psoriatic arthritis if the body has a major stressor such as accident injuries, long viral illness, etc.--essentially the immune system turns on skin and joint tissues in an almost random fashion.

Causes lot of other problems if you have it like I do including possible heart issues.

213 OT, but I recently took the Army's annual online OPSEC training. It's been dummied down to a series of cartoon scenarios, where you have to identify if sensitive information has been compromised.

The first comic had two strong Army women of color eating at a restaurant in Korea. One told the other she was going to video call her kid back in the US soon, but didn't worry because her wife was home watching the kid.

Next, we had a white male soldier who was disgruntled with the army asking a black soldier about a new system being fielded, and asking for detailed information he wasn't supposed to know.

Then, we have to pick the potential terrorist from a lineup of a white dude in coveralls, an Arab in traditional garb, and 2 women. The answer is all of them.

We have a man, woman and child in civilian clothes eating dinner at home. The woman tells the other two that she'll be deploying soon and will miss them. Strong and independent.

'Neither of these things should be remotely controversial and we hope beer drinkers can appreciate the humor (and ridiculousness) of this video from back in March.' "

Nowhere in their advertising do they claim to do anything for children, the Kars 4 Kids is purely branding.

530 The thing is that I don’t think Armstrong wanted to end up divorced, and I have a feeling that if one could ask her if she would have traded the trappings of her public fame for a stable and happy family life, I think I know what the answer would be. Still, whether she wanted to get caught up in various cultural debates about the role of women in society, it’s hard not to place Armstrong on some kind of feminist continuum that celebrates the personal validation of women at the expense of their role in their families and communities.

As Western society has become more feminist and secular both women and men have become less happy. This should be a point of constant discussion but of course we largely aren't allowed to talk about it at all...

I think we're supposed to feel sorry for her because in leaving Mormonism (whetever one feels about Mormonism) the "Community" of left wing views and being a "celebrity" couldn't sustain her after being divorced and in the midst of severe depression. I feel sorry for anybody having to deal with severe depression even if they are left wing as long as they're not a complete Antifa nutcase. Since I haven't read her writings I couldnt opine on all her views.
