I don't know the details of the hack. I do know that a lot of people use SMS messaging as part of their two factor authentication protocol. Unfortunately, most cell phone provider networks have garbage security protocols in place. TMobile, last I checked, will let you SIM swap with a simple phone call with very basic information provided to verify your identity. What that means is the hacker is able to take over your phone number. So the second factor of your SMS two factor authentication gets sent right to the hacker instead of you. Real 2FA like Google's Authenticator app is not susceptible to this hack. Posted by: bonhomme at April 19, 2023 05:16 PM (R38qh) 63

I don't understand the medical science behind this, because I'm no baby killer. But apparently, if you decide to get an abortion, they give you some poison to kill your baby a couple days before they start scraping and hoovering. But someone derived an antidote to the poison, so if you have a crisis of conscience about your filicidal behavior, you can reverse it. Now, it seems that Governor Monkeypox signed a bill banning the antidote, and the Supreme Court enjoined it, pending a hearing in some cases challenging the ban. Transgender and "nonbinary" people are 3-6 times more likely to be autistic than the general population. And a lot of late-onset M-to-F transgenders, as Steve Sailer has noted, besides being autogynephiliacs, tend to have high IQs, stereotypically masculine interests such as science, technology, the military, and sports, and aggressive personalities. He labels these people "Ex-Men" in a nod to the comic book characters, and describes them as "the Seal Team Six of cancel culture."
So it's no surprise that Walsh got hacked. I would expect that hundreds of spergy, obsessive, technologically adept Ex-Men are working hard at trying to hack any prominent critic of the trans movement at any given time. Remember the people who located Shia LeBoeuf's flag in a field somewhere based only on photos of contrails in the sky? They called that "weaponized autism." Tranny activists are now weaponizing autism against their enemies. Posted by: Alex at April 19, 2023 05:26 PM (YjiAb) 104

That would not work. A SIM swap hack is when you convince the target's carrier to transfer your number to a different SIM card. A SIM lock restricts the use of a SIM card to a device or carrier. SIM lock would prevent the hacker from taking your SIM card and using it on another device. It would also be an added layer of protection for your device. It doesn't do anything to keep the carrier from switching things around on their end. Posted by: bonhomme at April 19, 2023 05:28 PM (R38qh) 112

> Hacked? Bet Walsh's ISP gave the (you know who) whatever they wanted.
Unlikely. Based on what I'm seeing, the hacker contacted Walsh's phone carrier (TMobile, I believe) and asked them to change the SIM device for the phone number. TMobile and other carriers are NOTORIOUS for having garbage tier security on this process. They usually ask very basic proof of identity questions you can find out about anyone. Once this process is done, all data traffic to Walsh's phone gets sent to the hacker's phone. Once you do that, you can send password reset requests to all the major webmail providers, banks, social media providers, etc. If they are set up with SMS 2FA, those 2FA password reset codes get sent to the phone the hacker controls. On the positive side, the more data that is collected, the less able the system is able to process it plus the government keeps getting took on contracts to update systems. If you are a person of interest, the system has the ability to ruin your day. If you are Joe Schmoe, any attack on privacy is essentially random like crime. Kids are lazy. You have to get information on the target. Yes. Very few, if any, of the organizations that claim to use 2FA are using 2FA. 2FA means that you have to have two things to log in. (Usually a password and a phone number.) What most organizations do is ½FA. As long as someone has one of those things, they can get in, if not automatically, then with a perfunctory sob story. I'm guessing at least half of Americans have two passwords they use over and over. They have a basic password they use on any random website that requires a membership. I detest Ben Shapiro to such an extent that I have to be careful not to tar the rest of the Daily Wire with the same brush.

The Left has begun a new era of asymmetric warfare against conservatives. They have no morals. They have no scruples. Nothing is out-of-bounds for them. Meanwhile, the Right continues to play by the rules -- both out of principle, and because to do otherwise opens them up to dismissal owing to "hypocrisy."
We cannot win this game as it is currently being played. The damage done to society as we wait for the slow gears of justice and righteousness to work through the system is becoming insurmountable. Posted by: red speck at April 19, 2023 06:02 PM (Ny/Va) -------- Indeed. Ace had a great, instant classic post a couple or three years ago applying game theory to support this conclusion. I should have bookmarked it -- but will search for it tonight via keywords on my computer at home. The guys at Daily Wire totally hit on something I was just mulling over in my own life - Slaves hate free men.
Look at the dull-eyed slaves all around you in your life. They don't yearn to be free. They yearn for you to be in chains right next to them. Posted by: insurgens ad opus at April 19, 2023 06:34 PM (NKKzB) 255
I've started making my password random goobledygook like 7*52x.179 or whatever. And I don't remember them on purpose. Then when I log in to a site, I do the forgot password option and then create 826(91.Ax^ as the new password. So every password I have on every website is totally random and not connected in any way. So if one is ever hacked, the others won't be connected or similar.

Too bad there isn't a conservative equivalent to antifa- you know, a direct action violent mob that could be directed to "confront" this Dell Cameron and (when found) the hacker. The judicial system is a joke and if there is to be any justice it will come from the private sector.
