Biden's Dementia Is Accelerating

As I kept saying before the election: Dementia is not an acute condition. You just don't "get over it" like you get over the flu. It is a progressive disease and it gets worse as it goes on.

On Monday, Biden came down to deliver a statement about one of his trans Democrat voters shooting up a school and killing three children, as well as three adults.

He chose to open his remarks with some comedy stylings about ice cream.

Note that he knew he was about to discuss the school shooting. That's why they woke this old dotty degenerate up. It's not the case that he was speaking on an additional matter and then was handed a bulletin about the shooting. He summoned the press to talk about it.

And he was so upset by the shootings he was chuckling and having lots of fun.

Via RedState, Biden also decided to say more completely wrong things about guns.

As Nick Arama notes, you are allowed to own all those things. Owning a machine gun or automatic rifle requires, I believe, a highly restrictive Class III firearms license, which people have. Joe's Hollywood friends have those licenses. It's what allows them to use machine guns in movies.

And you can just buy a flamethrower off Amazon. He has video of Elon Musk showing off his own flamethrower.

Update: Grump says you need a Class III license to sell machine guns, not to own them. He says owning them requires a "$200 tax stamp." I don't know what that entails.

The tank IIRC had a little wagon behind it with the fuel and pipes bringing it forward. A hit on that could make the tank a dangerous place. I imagine the grunts would have had to clear the area around the bunker fairly well before the Firefly was brought up.

It's basically the same NICs check that you have to get when you buy any gun. There's no magical other database out there to own a short barrel rifle or an automatic weapon. They run your name through all the databases and unless you get flagged that's pretty much all they have to go on.

Back when all of this crap was signed in the '30s the $200 was sold as the cost for the government to burn all the shoe leather and phone calls to get you checked out.

These days you pay $200, submit your paperwork, and it sits with a stack of other paperwork for 6 months until one of the ATF guys comes out of the bathroom after surfing p0rn on his phone, runs your name through the databases, and then issues the stamp.

This magical piece of paper now allows you to expend a 30-round AR-15 magazine in about 2 and 1/2 seconds instead of the 4-6 seconds it would take you with a regular semi-automatic weapon. Or allows you to own an AR-15 with a 14-in barrel unlike the 16-in barrel AR-15 you already own without the stamp. 🤡🌎

It entails paperwork, a spotless criminal record, and no red flags on anything else in your personal history. And a lot of dollars up-front to buy the automatic weapon you want to legally own. They are not cheap. About $20K minimum nowadays. According to a legal automatic weapons owner I spoke with at last year's TXMoMe, you have to purchase the firearm before submitting the application for the tax stamp. The Class III dealer will not hand it to you until you show him the BATF tax stamp document. He said that at least where he lives, you don't have to know someone who knows someone at BATF to get the tax stamp. He said anyone who can get a concealed carry license can likely get an auto weapon tax stamp.
