Kari Lake's Election Fraud Lawsuit Can Go Forward, Says Arizona Supreme Court

Kari Lake's lawsuit against Maricopa County, alleging that the Democrat-run county violated state law for verifying signatures, is allowed to go forward.

Arizona Supreme Court Chief Justice Robert Brutinel wrote that the court would decide whether or not Lake could prove her claim -- that Maricopa County did not comply with Arizona election law regarding ballot tabulation. Lake must also prove that there were enough potentially fraudulent votes to affect the outcome of the election based on a "competent mathematical basis to conclude that the outcome would plausibly have been different, not simply an untethered assertion of uncertainty."
Lake announced in January that she had three whistleblowers who claim 130,000 votes had been rejected because of bogus signatures, but "higher-ups" insisted they be counted.

This judge is guilty of Misinformation in the First Degree -- there is never any justification to accuse Democrats of vote fraud. NEVER.

85 The standard stated by that AZ judge actually, I think, is much higher or at least more specific than the one used in federal courts to void elections and order re-runs (yes, this happens). Though it's similar - that identified irregularities render the official results questionable.

The combo of (comically obvious) election infrastructure "malfunction" in Lake-ish precincts of Maricopa*, and now a tabulation issue - nice! Most obvious cases in 2020 only had one of these stand-by fraud activities, not both.

Clark County NV. AFAIK, a preposterous and obviously illegal signature-verification scandal that makes Cook County elections look like those in Oslo. Crickets.

And this is the problem that will not be solved by any action being taken now.

Assume the best-possible outcome for this case. That Maricopa is found to have engaged in massive fraud, that those 130k ballots (or more) were falsified and cannot be cured, that those 130k ballots went in vast majority to Hobbes, that Hobbes stole the election and is an illegitimate governor, that the corrupted election is overturned by the courts and then Lake is installed instead or there is a new election run.

Even if all that happens, those "sombodies above them" that "sent them on through" will not be prosecuted or punished. They will remain in place, primed and ready to steal the next one.

There is a very slim chance that the publicity and results of the trial might move public understanding and cultural pressure against fraud. Ignoring the question of Greek philosophy, cynicism generally involves the assertion of malfeasance or bad actors, or the expectation of that. It does not say nothing can be done about a problem, it asserts its existence, which may be true or not in any given instance. Arguably identifying a problem in the first place is pro-action, as opposed to the opposite approach of assuming someone else will address a problem or asserting the problem doesn't exist.

A cynic may be said to have a general mistrust or suspicion of others, but what does that have to do with inaction?

We don't have a republic. We have a bureaucratic tyranny and the typical post-republican scenario where the state and ruling party have fused into an indistinguishable whole. Mainland China is the CCP. South Africa is the ANC. Venezuela is the PSUV. The United States is the Uniparty.

And the courts won't decline to take up all fraud cases, nor will they deliberately corrupt the proceedings in all fraud cases - only fraud cases directly threatening major ruling systems. They will not abdicate responsibility in general, they just tend to do so in the specific. And they don't even directly abdicate, they just rule that there is nothing the courts can do because of reasons X, Y or Z.

There is no way they can prove this. The ballots come in envelopes. The envelopes have the signatures. If there was forced acceptance and counting of the ballots, they were removed from the envelope. You can't match them up anymore.

It's almost like it were designed to make it impossible to prove it.

I've had the same thought for a while now. I grew up in Cook County, Illinois (Chicago) and can't remember the last time a Republican was on the ballot. I don't think it's actually illegal yet to be a Republican there but they're working on it no doubt. /s.

My point is, when the Democrats so totally control all aspects of voting - in blue states at least - how do we know what the actual vote was? For all we know Californians vote overwhelmingly for Republicans but the results show only Dems winning, e.g., the Newsome recall election. The Democrats have taken Stalin's dictum about the vote counters to heart and no one will ever know the reality. I'm becoming more and more convinced of that.

Even if you had hard evidence that the envelopes that failed signature match were counted anyway - I mean even if you have a video of Abortion Mouse walking into the counting room and stating explicitly that the workers had to count them no matter what - you couldn't prove that it changed the vote total in any particular way. Those might have all been Kari Lake votes for all you know. And you know nothing, because they made the system that way so you can't.

To this point no court has been willing to say you have X votes that are likely fake, and the margin of victory was less then X therefore the election is vacated.

And I've seen the left fall back on, "sure a bunch of votes weren't on the up and up but you can't prove they were for Biden/Abortion Mouse/etc" which...is intentional - that's the whole point of the secret ballot.
