CNN's Vile Propagandist Manu Raju Spins for John Fetterman, Claiming His Health Is Just Terrific

Weird flex for someone who checked himself into a hospital for depression, after just getting out of the hospital for dizziness, but you do you, Manu.

On Wednesday, Raju offered an update on Fetterman's condition that generated a lot of opposition.

"John Fetterman is making progress in his recovery from clinical depression and could leave Walter Reed within next two weeks, a person close to the senator told me. The senator's physician recently informed him that he will be 'as good or better than his best days post-stroke,'" he tweeted.

"Fetterman's stay has lasted this long because the doctors have been trying to get his 'medication balance exactly right,' per source. For instance, doctors learned his blood pressure med was too high, which may have contributed to dizziness when he went to GW hospital last month," he added.

I mean -- that's possible, but wouldn't they have reported he had, you know, low blood pressure then, too? Yes one can get dizzy from having blood pressure that's too low -- it happens to me during fasts if I get dehydrated -- but they would have reported he had low blood pressure, wouldn't they have?

Or maybe they're just concealing lying about all of his symptoms -- in which case, why should anyone believe what they're claiming now?

Mitch McConnell has been released from the hospital after his own fall at a "private dinner." He gave himself a concussion and a broken rib. He's doing rehab now.

Do any of these old f***s ever plan on leaving office or do they all intend to die on the public dime?

In case you missed it, I was leaked correspondence between John Fetterman and his devoted wife Gisele.

You may find that John's letters are best accompanied with this musical accompaniment, and that Gisele's flow nicely with this.

Yep! Had an unidentified "medical condition" and then went in for treatment for depression. But while supposedly treating for depression, his people keep reporting how he's progressing physically. Well, if you're treating for depression, isn't the big issue how you're progressing mentally? Unless you mean, first we need him to recover from his suicide attempt (and also to keep an eye on him for, say, 28 days). Then, we start on the depression.

Posted by: Colorado Alex in Exile at March 20, 2023 04:33 PM (wmDcS)

I didn't think he had a previous history of depression. More likely all the drugs he's taking have severely damaged his body, and now it's nearly impossible to keep him alive and compos mentis. Joe Biden has a similar problem, which is why they drug him for his Big Speeches and use a body double with sunglasses for proof of life.

Morbid obesity, heart problems, and strokes are difficult to manage even if someone isn't running a campaign. Together? I'm surprised the stress didn't kill him long before this.

Fetterman told CNN about the Fungi and the wonders they have revealed to him. He also says that the beings can surgically extract a human brain and place it into a canister wherein it can live indefinitely and withstand the rigors of space travel. Fetterman says he has agreed to undertake such a journey and points to a cylinder bearing his name and of the positive aspects of the journey and why the CNN reporter should join it in the trip to Yuggoth, the beings' outpost on Pluto, in especially from Fetterman's odd manner of buzzing whispering.

So, even if leftists acknowledge Fetterman and Joe are brain dead, they believe they're on a mission from Gaia, and, therefore, the methods do not matter.

Posted by: G'rump928(c)

Even the pardon power has limits--e.g. it has to be for a specified crime and/or specified person or classes of persons committing a particular crime. There is also a particular procedure just like for documents that the Dems can circumvent like Clinton for Marc Rich but the GOP prezzies cannot because reasons.

Expecting all of that to be done in the remaining waning days of the administration plus having to prepare for an unconstitutional impeachment is too much to ask when most of Trump's people had already headed out the door post election.

The author isn't entirely wrong, but he draws one very, very bad and dangerous conclusion:
If AI gives you the wrong output, that means you gave it the wrong input.

That is one possible reason. The AI could also be wrong. Or incompetent. Or unable to handle the conditions you've set, even though the conditions are valid. Making "you did it wrong if you got a bad a result" the default position on bad AI results is a bad idea.

286 For the record Grump, the most widespread use of a pardon was Jimmy Carter's for those who were charged or faced charges for evading the draft. That was a specified class that was identifiable, no one challenged that in court action, and the charges themselves were specific. Nixon's pardon by Ford was the other extreme because at the time Nixon was not charged with anything (partially due to the fact that it is debatable whether a DOJ can indict a sitting president---Andrew Johnson's violations of the Tenure in Office Act was not prosecuted in the traditional sense but impeached. Nevertheless, the pardon was constrained to a particular individual that potentially faced a number of charges. So the power is cabined or contained in that instance. It is also an open question of law whether pardons obtained by bribery of the official are valid. Don't remember the caselaw at the state level involving TN Gov Ray Blanton but he was removed for that by the TN legislature.

Of course, he won't tell us that, any more than Biden will reveal the CT scan of his head showing a good part of his brain is not even there as a result of his past aneurysms and surgery, not to mention dementia.

349 IIRC, in his final days & hours in office, Billy Jeff pardoned numerous criminal scum & miscreants -- including Puerto Rican & some domestic "Weatherman"-like terrorists -- as well as the excreble Marc Rich, many of which were subsequently determined to be pay-off bribes to the Clinton Crime Syndicate.
Posted by: ShainS
-------
Yes he did and his bagman for those pardons, Asst. DOJ Atty, Eric Holder who later became DOJ Atty General despite being a crook himself.

The bribery case involving Rich was more straight forward as Rich's former wife Denise was the conduit for millions donated to the Clinton Library fund subsequent to the act. But, GOPesters like GWB and John Ashcroft felt it would not be nice to pursue legal action about it post election.

If they had, at a minimum, Eric Holder might have been made toxic enough never to become Atty Gen. and it might have cut Killary's career a bit short.

425 the former president had floated the idea of a "blanket pardon" for the breach of the Capitol, but Pat A. Cipollone, the White House counsel, had rejected it.

The only limit on the President's pardon power is "except in Cases of Impeachment", (and can't pardon future crimes). The other limit would be the political cost, but that's a political question, not a legal one for the WH counsel. Cipollone lied.

429 > It is the tragedy of the modern day that no one understands the true meaning of the Ides of March. It is not sufficient to merely stab someone, but that everyone get together and do it as a GROUP!

Well, there's that, but there are a couple more elements too. One is the day was a religious holiday, so group murder on that day was seen as especially egregious. Another is the story that a seer told Caesar to beware the date, and Caesar supposedly bragged to the seer that the Ides of March had come, but he was not dead, a fine example of hubris. Also, the Romans loved a story about a controversial public figure having forewarning of their downfall and not changing their ways.

I remember the first season where Survivor had men vs women teams. By the end of the first week, the guys had built a Swiss Family Robinson camp trying to outdo each other, while the women huddled under a lean-to in the rain.

It is actually an underlitigated area as far as law. Part of the issue is that outsiders challenging the pardon would have standing to sue to have the pardon rescinded.

Cipollone was citing DOJ guidance, developed in part after the Ford pardon of Nixon and the later Carter pardons of draft evaders. Part of the question as to whether it is uncabined power is the break between UK and US and the pardoning powers at the origin of the US. Gets a bit weird as doctrines that cited royal prerogatives had to be fit inside an ill fitting republic suit and the pardoning power is such an item.

442 By the end of the first week, the guys had built a Swiss Family Robinson camp trying to outdo each other, while the women huddled under a lean-to in the rain.

Its even worse than that. The women couldn't get a fire going. They were given pigs to kill and eat and they... made pets out of the pigs. The men had a gator they killed and carried back to camp singing songs. The women eventually gave up and went to the men's camp to get food and heat and water.
