What an odd thing to say. This isn't the argument. The controversy isn't around what Carlson would have done differently if he had been there, the controversy is around what actually happened and how that compares to the narrative that the Jan 6 committee has been pushing for years.

That the whole mess was a planned op to permanently sideline Donald Trump by both establishment Republicans and Democrats and that included Pence and McConnell. Remember that McConnell was still majority leader at that point.
Essentially, the conspirators worried that the steal would come back to bite their ass if Trump was free to go about the country for 4 years raising hell. The Jan 6 was planned and based on Trump's legal avenues being closed, the political route through the Capitol was all that was left. By salting the crowds on Jan 6 with glowies whether formal agents or informants and ensuring that the military was sidelined via the National Guard and reinforcements, that some sort of mayhem would occur. Unfortunately, the plan did not come off as the only dead people were protesters and sympathetic ones at that. So, the myth narrative of Jan. 6 swung into action and coincidentally impeachment proceedings began as planned in order to permanently ban Trump from office again with McConnell's enthusiastic support. But that dog did not hunt subsequently as many people saw through the hyperbole.

1500 is hard to do unless you cook from scratch and use lots of spices to cover up the loss of flavor. Can have muscle issues with that (including the heart ironically). 2000 can be done more easily and you find that the additional 500 mg used for flavor can add appreciation to the food. Major issue that I found is that most commercial soups are overloaded with salt as is the supposed healthy chicken and turkey processed foods. They introduce salt to overcome the blandness of the meats.

Any big crowd is always a risk of people getting disorderly or even violent. It doesn't require agent provocateurs. Managing crowds isn't a big unknown secret. Trump suggested that more security would be a good thing.

Every bit after that point is sus as hell.

I watched a recent show of Brand's on the mainstream media. The amount of direct quotes--and even the man's humble attitude--was impressive.

Humility before the Truth was a key note. And that's what I saw. Whether or not I agree with his ultimate world view.

However, quasi-Chomskians like him get closer to being right every day. There does seem to be something manufactured about consensus.

As late as the late 80's, even some Hollywood people were still tolerant enough of conservatives to attend White House gatherings with Ronald Reagan. I've seen pictures of Reagan with liberals like Lloyd Bridges and Warren Beatty, and Carson was always respectful in his portrayals of Reagan

I doubt Murdoch likes Tucker but recognizes that absent Tucker, Ingraham and Hannity are simply over the hill and their audiences in Prime Time would dwindle quickly if Tucker was not there to sustain the lineup. O'Reilly served a similar function before Tucker.

That is why in the long run, Fox News, just like the other cable networks are on borrowed time from people with the leisure and money to subscribe to cable services. TV in less than a decade will be a very different place with streaming and asynchronous watching of shows.
