You might be wondering, who is Sam Smith?

Sam Smith has been annoyingly on your radar for a while, like a mosquito which keeps dive-buzzing the interior of your ear every half hour.

He was the pampered slob who posted video of himself having a crying meltdown during the lockdowns, whining that the isolation of quarantine was hard for people like him as he sat on the fine marble steps of his palatial $14 million mansion.

He sang that wretched, whiny, girly James Bond theme song that made you think, "Maybe I'm not gay enough to be into James Bond anymore."

He made that disgusting video which was basically a soft-core gay fetish film, including, most revoltingly, urine orgy kink. Content warning on that, obvs.

And then this "non-binary" teamed up with a transgender to stage a mock Satanic ritual at the Grammys while all of the Great and Good of Hollywood clapped like they were the Politburo applauding Stalin's latest 5 Year Plan.

Matt Walsh described Sam Smith repeat trips to the Revulsion Well for purposes of getting attention. His music just isn't very good so he's resorting to ever-more-disgusting sex-shock stuff to get media attention. And no one can criticize Them for it because They's a Them.

He's kind of like Madonna if Madonna were a fat ugly dumpy gay dude who can't even justify his annoying, obnoxious existence with the occasional gem like "Crazy for You" or "Express Yourself" or even "Ray of Light" or even a minor earworm like "Four Minutes."*

Anyway.

There is a small controversy today in this Empire of Lies. This controversy is occasioned, as controversies usually are in the Empire of Lies, by someone telling a small truth.

Former Oasis frontman Neil Gallagher calls Sam Smith the biggest "f***ing idiot" in pop music today.

But that's not what the garbage tier media is seizing on as the unforgivable insult -- the real slur is that he called this biological fat man "him" instead of them.

Note that clip starts off with Smith saying he'd like to be a "fisherthem."

"A fisherman?" someone asks.

"A fisherthem," Smith corrects.

* Actually I'm only mentioning this because the lyric "we've only got four minutes to save the world" started going through my head. I kept trying to find the song, and kept searching "Bobby Brown we've only got four minutes to save the world." I was almost certain the song was from Ghostbusters 2, and was by Bobby Brown. And was from 1989.

I was only off by like 40 years. I don't know why I was so sure it was from Ghostbusters 2. So random to have such a firm memory of a false notion. Brown must sing something about saving the world in one of the Ghostbusters 2 songs.

This would mesh with what I've read about witness testimony where it isn't unusual for people to report differing details in an event.

We knew. The die hard metalheads knew, but really didn't know what to make of it because it wasn't overly blatant. I knew he was for sure gay back in the early 80's when I was at this thing with 2 smoking hot chicks and one of their tag along friends who was a dude. Halford was there, I introduced everybody, ladies first of course. A few nights later we ran across him again, I was with the same smoking chicks, and the first thing he did was say hi to the dude, remembered his name, and then ignored the chicks. I mentioned that about a year back, actually dragged out the comic to re-read. "I Led Nine Lives" from Fat Freddy's Cat #1 (I think it was in Zap first). Yeah, the cat blows the brains out of the boss guy at the end when he says it's not so bad, as he sips tea with his pinky extended.

Some of the Zap stuff was really prescient - especially a series from Spain called "Future Glimpses". He basically had the entire future populated by perverts, gays, trannies and pedos, and nailed way too many things in 1973. 2 drunk gays: "Isshhh an old HETRO pair, Boom my pud, my bud... Lesh carve 'em up for the giggles of it!" (Zap #7)

Metal heads rarely separated their stage lives when they are younger. Very few from my experience. Live metal, die metal. It sucked for the more reckless ones, because they would start believing their own bullshit. The midrange assholes ( me) were just crazy enough, but had just enough self preservation to keep us from really doing anything stupid. You maybe got a little separation when you got a little older, and maybe married. Mrs b was my sentinel. If I started to drift she would let me know.

Darren Aronofsky's debut movie "Pi" is coming to IMAX(!) along with a gab sess for One Night Only1111!!.

Reason that's weird is because if I remember correctly this movie was super low budget and shot in B&W on leftover film stock from other movies. And was chock full o'film grain.

On IMAX it gonna look like a storm of ping-pong balls up there.

Or, maybe not, maybe they did some technical thing with AI(!!!!) and de-ping-pongballified it.

Anyway, interesting but sl-l-l-o-o-o-o-o-w movie.
