"Ban this user" never existed as a user option. The Dems were asking to ban entire accounts based on the slur that they were "Russian bot accounts" when later study proved them not to be.

Speaking of which: wifey and her friend, neither of whom are really burger fans, couldn't stop raving about the burgers at a restaurant here in our small downtown at an old historic hotel -- recently reopened after being closed a couple of years during the covid insanity "for remodeling."

So, we went there for lunch yesterday and I had to agree -- a fantastic burger. After complimenting it to our waitress, she revealed that is was so yummy, unique, and popular because it's half Angus beef and half brisket -- and of course with wifey being from Texas, we're yuge brisket fans.

Anyway, had never heard of anyone doing that before, but I'm sure it's been done elsewhere and likely for a while.

I've got a chapter on that gives you more of the Chinese side of things. By the time you reach that point, you understand that China was ALWAYS going to intervene. Korea has been a tributary state for centuries. Same with Vietnam, btw.

Nope. China's. Mao wanted the French gone and then the US as well. Huge amount of Chinese military aid went to the Vietnamese. The problem was that the Vietnamese didn't trust the Chinese and so turned to the Soviets.

The Chicoms invaded to try to force Vietnam to get out of Cambodia, but it didn't work and the PLA took massive losses. Lots of stuff going on that most of us never hear about.
