17 Morning, all! The 4-day weekend is just past its halfway point. And I'm sure I speak for all or most of us when I say: "I don't wanna go back to work!"

Come to think of it, change the word "work" to "school," and that was my lament every Sunday afternoon, at the end of every T-giving and Xmas vacation, and at the end of summer from 1st grade on. Not much ever changes, huh?

Earlier in the year, Team Biden re-purposed billions of dollars to buy 170 million doses of the new bivalent COVID-19 vaccine. The problem is, few people are getting the shots.

I think at $130 per dose!

Again, the entire Plandemic was a setup.

A little over a year before it, the guy who literally green-lit and funded GOF research in Wuhan, gave a talk and said, and I fucking quote, the the world going to be faced with a global pandemic in the not too distant future.

It's f**king absurd this guy is still an intact carbon based life form and that his molecules haven't been released back to the universe via an industrial wood chipper.

But don't forget the stupidity, uh, I mean the humidity.)

34 At Walmart yesterday I picked up a bottle of Turtle Wax Wax-As-U-Dry spray for when I wash and detail the car. The stuff provides a nice shine and protection, and has the added plus that it smells like a new plastic model when you open the box. Meguiar's, my other standby, smells like popcorn with butter. It's about $2.00 more, though.

I need some of their Natural Shine, the low-gloss stuff I put on the tires. WM no longer carries it; the shelves are full of high-gloss sprays from Chemical Guys, $10 or more per bottle. Hell wit' dat. Autozone should have that NS stuff.

Hopefully win the raffle quilt.

Too wet to fool with the Advent lights- that will have to wait for another cold and windy day.

97 @55 Jamaica NYC-no, Trump is still the same man today that accidentally beat the 2016 Dem fraud machine. Same man today that was taken out by the uniparty in 2020. Same man that enjoys the popularity that even DeSantis can’t touch at the moment. All this in spite of himself. We have elitist thinkers on our side that are too stupid to comprehend why Trump is as popular as he is so they right it off across the board as cult of personality. Insulting a shit ton of voters that will walk unfortunately if it is not Trump in 24’ by engaging in the exact behavior they accuse Trump people of. No, our side has politically run it’s course and is in its death throes. We will destroy each other before 24 even gets here. Even if we got through this unified and a Trump/DeSantis ticket, as has been pointed out by some here, we have no path to 270 at this time. Helluva thing to watch. It sucks.

Same here. I quit selling on ebay a few years back and then redid my account to comply with the new irs stuff. Found out you can't use paypal any longer, ebay has to deposit the money into an actual legitimate bank account because of the new rules. Plus they take sales tax out on every transaction and send it to your state, it's up to you to prove to the state that you were selling personal items to get your money back.

Plus the new rules puts you on a whole bunch of State and Federal radars listing you as a "retailer" that I would rather not be on. I sold one thing and then quit even though I have a closet full of stuff that I could sell.

110 As I clean out the garage, the house, shop and replace items around the house that still have life left in them I no longer stress about getting any money back. Instead I place the items at the end of the driveway where they can be seen and easily picked up, if someone wants them.

I've let go shop lights, lamps, an old microwave, toaster oven, a stainless steel oven hood, odd furniture pieces, etc.

I seldom end up actually tossing anything as most of the stuff just disappears. And if people can use this stuff, great. That makes me happy.

"This is extremely dangerous to our democracy."

In addition to thinking of journolist coordination, this reminds me of the movie "Nightcrawler". In the movie, the newsroom producer is speaking to the on-air people through earpieces and telling them what to say, what to hype, even sometimes what lies to tell.

I have a feeling that was an accurate portrayal of what has been happening in every single newsroom for decades. Unfortunately, "nobody" is not an accurate description about how many people still take the media seriously. The Plandemic proved that millions upon millions still believe every word they say.

Most of the time I had no clue what these people stood for but I knew whatever it was the believed in it and were passionate about it. No wimpy limp dick 10, 20, 30 second sound bites by politicians playing it safe as to not offend a f'ing potential D voter or independent like on our side for years. Not giving a shit and saying it loud and clear, you are absolutely correct. At the Trump Rally in Gardnerville Nevada that the venue was moved to was completely out of the way AND a long drive even for locals. The energy at his rally was equal to that of any Day On The Green festival with bands like Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Metallica headlining. For a non musical event that was completely nuts. I'm fine with Trump not tweeting. The important thing is that Twitter correct a grave mistake in banning his account, despite no violation of the law or terms of service.

Deplatforming a sitting President undermined public trust in Twitter for half of America.

As a reminder, I was a significant supporter of the Obama-Biden presidency and (reluctantly) voted for Biden over Trump

But freedom of speech is the bedrock of a strong democracy and must take precedence.

My preference for the 2024 presidency is someone sensible and centrist. I had hoped that would the case for the Biden administration, but have been disappointed so far.

$433 sounds right, but I sure as heck am not spending $5400 a month. I'm spending 40 to 50% than two years ago with an inflation rate of 8%.

Our food bill has gone up by about 50% in the last 12-18 months. It is extremely noticeable also because it happens quickly. Go buy a dozen eggs one day for $1.29 and when I go back the week after they are over $2.00 and now closer to $3.00 for generic walmart eggs.

Went to buy some pillsbury grand biscuits the other day and they had gone from $1.25 the last time I bought them to $2.18 in less than a week.

168 Only time I seen something like that was Reagans funeral. Trump was his usual, corny, cloddish self with his constant "like nothing you've ever seen before" Trump speak. However the thing that energized the crowd the most was when he attacked and belittled his opponents. Be it squish Republicans or Dems like Pelosi, Schiff and Schumer. That is when the crowd bristled and came to life cheering the loudest. This is the result of years of be belittled, mocked and being described as the most despicable of people that are just a bunch of sister humping rubes. People want someone that will dish it back with some simpering pussy ass apology later on. As much as I detested Trump at the time for his attacks on Ted Cruz wife it eventually dawned on me this is the guy I want fighting for me against a POS despicable, evil enemy. If he was willing to stoop to such a low level to attack his opponent of the same parties wife, imagine what he'll do to my enemy on the left. That is the secret sauce, the magic of his appeal to the hoi polloi. It offends the elitist amongst us that this crass clod of a flawed man is the one to do what none of their candidates could do in previous years.

I never watched TV news prior to 09/11/2001. I stopped watching TV news late summer of 2004 when it became obvious to me that it was not serious. Since 2004, I have gotten all my news from military blogs and right-of-center blogs and right-of-center people I follow on Twitter.

On the one hand, I am more informed than anyone in my circle and most people I talk to. On the other hand, it has been aggravating dealing with people who reject facts I share, because "that's not what they said on CNN/MSNBC/NBC/CBS, etc".

There will be a tipping point and citizens will take action, and of course the Feds will respond in favor of the invaders.

I have not calculated the exact change in my spending over the past 2+ years of the Plandemic and Bidenflation, but I know that it has gone down in some areas and up in others.

Spending on gas is almost non-existent compared to pre-Plandemic as I have been working from home since March 2020. I now only fill up once a month or so, instead of about 2-3 times per month previously. I am spending more on groceries, because (1) I am eating healthier and healthier foods cost more and (2) I am making all my own meals instead of buying anything at the office cafeterias. I had been spending at least $100/month at office cafeterias. I am spending a ton less on takeout food as well over the past 10 months after my ER experience and going on the diet. Energy bill has not changed that much thus far, but we'll see how the winter DTE heating bills go.

Let's face it, most people aren't political junkies, and - they are busy, and have jobs and family to raise. Something has changed in the last several years, when otherwise non-political folk start discussing topics at a deep and Fully Informed level.

It explains nicely why the leftists have been at DefCon 1 for quite some time now. Their historical "livestock" voters ain't stayin' in their lane any longer, they aren't staying on the plantation any longer.

You can try and persuade people to do things. Or, you can force people to do things. Those are the two choices.

Yep. Ushered in by the first phase of their plan, The Long March Through the Institutions. This has been a long game they have been orchestrating for decades. While people who have been trying to warn everyone about it have been called conspiracy kooks.

Control the media and every institution of information dissemination, control the schools to brainwash the last two generations of Americans, control "entertainment" industry to brainwash further, control the healthcare and energy industries for more control of the masses, control the voting system to guarantee election victories and then the dagger is the massive influx of illegals (left-wing voters) to add to the brainwashed millennials and Gen-Z-ers to cement control of the electorate for generations.

It's a matter of Electoral Vote math. Just look at the 2020 map. There was a path to 270 if the GOP flipped GA, AZ and I think NM? Without AZ, there is no path to 270.

This is assuming that no state with Democrat Governor will allow their state to vote for the Republican candidate. Which is a good assumption. Which is why AZ was so important and why the Deep State stole it.

The GOPe and PDT are at war and the GOPe will do everything it can to make sure PDT doesn't win the primary. The GOPe will want to run a mainstream establishment hack like Jeb Bush instead of someone their constituents might actually back. The GOPe still operates under the assumption they've get a pass on the, "Who else you going to vote for?"

If the GOPe does as expected and get their anointed candidate, they'll lose, and they're okay with that.

Most media outlets use two sources of "news", CNN Newsource and AP. The network I worked for used primarily CNN Newsource, a subscription service. CNN supplies via Satellite/internet connection, ALL news clips, graphics, Chyron copy, etc, necessary for the local station's newscast. No need for a writer anymore in the news room. The Producer and news director can decide the lineup of the broadcast and the content. Been that way for at least a decade. CNN Newsource also has a Spanish version for the Spanish language outlets.
