Transgenders can play in their own league? Weird, I had been assured that was impossible and Racist or something.

Still waiting on that female-to-male transgender who totally dominates a male sport -- you know, because biology doesn't mean anything in athletic competition. So weird that it's only the male-to-female transgenders beating the hell out of girls.

Leaked documents charge that fake meat "Beyond Meat" plants are dirty and riddled with mold.

One of Beyond Meat’s key factories was reportedly riddled with mold, bacteria and other health-related concerns, according to leaked evidence provided by a former employee.

A leaked internal document revealed Beyond Meat products manufactured at the plant had tested positive for the harmful bacteria Listeria at least 11 times in the second half of 2021 and the first half of this year, Bloomberg reported on Monday.

The document was reportedly provided by a former employee who was worried about conditions in the plant, which is located within an hour of Philadelphia. Two other ex-employees confirmed that bacteria had been found at the facility.

At least in 2019, Bill Gates was invested in Beyond Meat (as well as in Impossible Foods), because of course he was. You will eat the bugs; you will trust Bill Gates with your more-attractive children.

Are they really kneeling? Apparently England did take the knee, because they're awful.

Bradley Cooper will play Frank Bullitt in a sequel to, not remake of, the Steve McQueen detective film. Steven Spielberg will be producing. I just saw this movie for the first time a year ago on HBO Max. Robert Duvall was in it briefly. He played a cabbie. I don't remember the plot. I liked it though. The chase was, of course, good.

HBO Max has a lot of older movies available which is pretty much the only reason to subscribe to HBO Max. Not that I would encourage anyone to pay money to any of these piece of shit corporations; HBO is a sister corporation of CNN. I'm just saying, of the crap on HBO, it's the old stuff that is actually worth looking at.

If you want a (long) delve into the rabbit hole of FTX and SBF, read these two posts from Matthew Crawford:

Basically, FTX was a creation of the Deep State, motherWEFing oligarchs. It was a essentially a private central bank, a private money printing operation. Likely a test run for what will become One World Digital Currency the motherWEFers want.

Does that mean he's going to accurately and honestly answer questions? He's not going to bluster his questioner and tell them, "You don't know what you're talking about?" without giving any actual information? He's not going to re-define well understood terms like "natural immunity" and "gain of function research?"

I had a meeting with my financial guy 2 weeks ago, and this was a huge part of the conversation. They're already doing dry runs of a sort, with UPS deciding they don't want to deliver things to FFL's, and banks deciding they won't let you charge for a handgun.

And, I saw them actually trying to say crypto is a huge benefit - because if you give little Johnny his allowance, you can limit what he buys, like candy or more piercings. Sadly, people are so GD stupid they can't connect the 2 dots. Yep. Sorry, you bought potato chips last year. No, we don't want you watching that, or listening to this. It's for your own good.

Indeed, this is the hill to die on, there's no more hills after this one.

89 Beyond reading my Bible, I'm not sure I'd deign to know how Jesus would act in a particular situation. When I ask myself WWJD? It's usually in light of a particular situation and I then pray for guidance. Seems to me though, that in the presence of sinners, the feeling brought on by the proximity of his perfect holiness was shame and a desire for forgiveness- almost the opposite if "pride." Of course, Norm Mac really illustrated the fallacy/foolishness of the use of the word "pride" for what should more likely be unconditional love.

Maybe. But there is absolutely no downside to going after Mayorkas. We've all seen how the base reacted to illegals being shipped to Martha's Vineyard. The only people who are supporting this open border insanity is the far left.

McCarthy has already said he is going to have hearings on the illegal invasion physically on the border and not in DC. This seems like an easy win.

If there were not working oil wells in and around the Long Beach, LaBrea and adjoining areas in Southern CA, the resultant ground seepage of crude oil would send the libs into an absolute screaming panic.

The wells feed the local refineries, but they also draw off the local subgrade pressure of the crude, which otherwise would naturally seek the lower pressure of the atmosphere, vs. the subgrade pressures generated in the porous oil bearing strata, driven by the same heating that fires the volcanoes of the Pacific Rim.

It was those natural seeps that the natives used to waterproof various items, and IIRC, some even learned to burn it on torch-ends, as it'd last even longer than the usual pine-pitch. Easier to get, too, as a hike up into the mountains wasn't needed to collect said pitch.

Hillary wasn't involved, as she was in no way tarrr'd.

The chase wasn't just "good" - Bullitt was one of those rare groundbreaking movies that changes they all films after it are made. Look at movies before 1968; all of the car chases are like the ones Hitchcock made; lots of interior car shots of the characters reacting, and a film projected behind the window to make it look like it's moving. Steve McQueen insisted on a *real* car chase being filmed, and Bullitt delivered - and every car chase in every movie and 70's tv show filmed after that was done the same way. Bullitt just looked too damn good for anyone to go back to the old way of doing things.

180 135 I don't remember the plot. I liked it though. The chase was, of course, good."
