Firefighter giving a drink to a parched koala.

Motion activated security camera finds a suspicious party inside the house.

Mongoose pretends to be dead... but I find his performance inconsistent and lacking full actorly commitment.

The Bunny Whisperer.

Happy dance.

This little pig understands that his natural place is right next to the grill.

Dogs can be jealous.

Aesop did it first.

Dog thinks he's putting a very indiscrete tail on the cat.

53 Saw a video of "wild" guinea pigs. They spend the night in a large shed but spend the day outside on a small farm.

There were probably 30+ of them grazing in the grass. They all run for cover when a bird sings. The owners left tall grass sections so the pigs can hide and make tunnels to travel around undetected. Sort of a Ho Chi Minh trail only with guinea pigs.

21 years ago today our Redneck litter was born from a breeding of Possum to Bubba. All four puppies (Belle, Honey, Faith and Alan) became champions and Faith is the great-grandmother of our current litter.

Alan (Ch. Soyara's Singer of Songs) was the star of the litter. He was built like an outdoor sanitation facility constructed of brick, with both doors open. Judges loved him. He won not just best of Breed awards but also group placements while competing in the classes.

Sadly, Alan was the victim of a sad and silly dispute when his co-breeder refused to sign the papers to allow him and his sisters to be registered with the AKC. He never got the socialization and experience he needed when young and he soon told us that the life of a special was not for him.

We respected his wishes and let him live his life out at home where he was the yodeler of the kennel. Sleep well, big guy, and wait for us.

They found a stash of stolen catalytic converters. Stepson and his sister knocked down the shelters, took their generators and put up some fencing. We have a guy that will scrap it for what he gets for the salvage. It's interesting that the sherriff and Code Enforcement were upset at how long this took. It's the courts and legislatures responsible for that.

Actually part of the explanation is known - the vast majority of Dem voters will vote a 3-day old sandwich if there's a "D" attached. But that's been somewhat true for decades. However big state and national elections being won by this "strategy" is new.

A strong cup of coffee would have resolved many of these issues....

292 Decision Desk just called Calvert. Is that the Cal 41, Dave ?

Posted by: Jonah at November 14, 2022 09:51 PM (Cw0fX)

"Decision Desk" sucks. But if they called it for Calvert...the Republican...then that's probably correct.

Posted by: Jonah at November 14, 2022 09:55 PM (Cw0fX)

295 I’m sorry, but I’m going to laugh my ass off if the GOP manages to re-elect Pelosi as speaker.

Posted by: Duke Lowell at November 14, 2022 09:55 PM (u73oe)

296 287 Oh, I forgot about Alaska. Everyone is thinking that will go to the Dems, but the GOP candidates combined add up to 51%. So question is do the voters hate the other candidate more than they hate Democrats.
Posted by: Dave in Fla at November 14, 2022 09:52 PM (5p7BC)

The answer is - yes. We saw the earlier 2022 election - this is just a rerun b/c neither dumba$$ would drop out...yes, I call them both out b/c it was obvious what both staying in would do (almost like they both were working for the Uniparty to make sure the Dem would win again)...

298 Well, I had one thing go right today. Dug out an old Pioneer car stereo, one with a front panel USB port, looked up the wiring pinout off the Internet, and hooked it up on the bench. Woo-Hoo! it works. All four speakers play, and it reads the files on my thumb drive. That will go into my '08 Suburban.

299 You know Guy, sorry to pick on you, but you are about the 6th or 7th to name me in the last couple days for incorrectly predicting an election result that has never happened in history.

If you want to put research out and take over the role, I'm happy to yield it to you.

Very interesting, especially since Trump controls his own destiny. The more he behaves like your cranky uncle, sitting in the corner yelling at the kids playing with the dogs, the less important and powerful he becomes.

He needs to embrace his elder statesman image.

306 301. Lol. The abortion whore wanted to codify Roe in AZ. Not!!!

307 Yeah, Calvert is CA-41. I think that is it for the House now. GOP will hit 218.

Posted by: Dave in Fla at November 14, 2022 09:58 PM (5p7BC)

308 come on Dave, I said you did good work, I just was pointing out that there is a deep state that won't let the Trump types in again.

310 And of course having one of the candidates counting all the votes is totes OK, because of course it is. FL and Ohio showed exactly how big the Democrat cheat factor really is, 10 - 20 percent.
