22 I typed this carp out, I'll be damned if it gets willowed...

396 Here is the full list of the state of the Senate based on information I am following:

Florida - Rubio wins by double digits : Georgia - Walker will win, the only question is if it is a runoff or not. He will win the runoff. : Arizona - Masters will win. : Nevada - Laxalt will win the vote, but there is cheating risk. He might have to win a court fight.

Pennsylvania - Oz will win, even with Philly cheating. : Ohio - Vance will win, it is over. Ryan will lose his own district. : NH - Close race, but Bouldac has a good shot. Sununu and NH-01 could pull him over. : WA - Smiley needs some luck but could win. 100% mail-in ballots makes for a cheating risk. : AK - Murkoski probably holds on, but will not be surprised if she loses.

NC - Over, Budd will win. : MO - Over, Schmidt will romp. : CT - Blumenthal will probably win, but he is at risk because of Hispanics.

59 NV is the unsung fraud pit of 2020. Clark County specifically. From what I recall, the histrionic lawless and inappropriate and integrity-destroying stuff was off the charts. Of course a federal "judge" declined to recognize what was before his eyes when a suit was filed.

From memory, the counting center first expelled GOP observers, *then* turned the signature-recognition technology down to 40% (% of what, not sure, forget the specifics) - which the vendor of the technology publicly said was effectively switching them "off".

And in the weeks before the election (during the idiotic "early voting") a local TV news guy succeeded in having 5 of 7 fraudulent mail-in ballots counted.

Third World country with potable water.

63 a friend pointed out that in Nevada, there was a big fight between the corrupt establishment Harry Reid faction and the AOC-type Justice Democrats, and the Justice Democrats won, and sent the Harry Reid faction packing. But the Reid people took all of their stuff, their mailing lists, donor lists, etc.

Also, key Harry Reid support groups, like the union of culinary workers (or whatever it's called, big in Vegas), are maybe not a lock for the Democrats like they have been in prior elections.

116 Well 287 in the House would be needed for veto over-rides, but that number seems unlikely. And then no way the Senate gets to 66. Which is reassuring to the GOP, as zero results are baked into the situation, and thus they have no need to meet any goals or accomplish anything. At least to satisfy the bulk of their clueless voters.

135 ace it's critical to keep that one factor in mind - several of the Senate "GOP" members are effectively Dems, if/when it comes down to critical national issues. I'm here, Rhomboid. Working late, so catching up on the latest thread.

I'd say that Dave in Fla is right. The Hartford Courant had an article just yesterday that said that while Blumenthal is everywhere, Levy is quiet. I can personally attest to that. I saw Blumy in Monroe, Trumbull, and Westport. I've seen Levy in Shelton, but she wasn't at the Stefanowski/Youngkin event in Greenwich, and that's her neighborhood. Very surprising. I sent her a long email offering to help wherever I can - crickets.

Per the Courant, her schedule isn't public to the media. If you're running for office, it's crazy not to have media at least know where you are. I hate to say it, but if the RiNO pro-abortion moderate had won the nomination (Themis Klarides), she'd be everywhere.

Levy does, however, have a secret weapon. She's Jewish, and Cuban, so she speaks fluent Spanish, and has a chance with the Hispanic vote.

Depends on whether the polling starts discouraging Dems from showing up. In a really big wave election, the indies break hard for the winning side, the partisans on the winning side outperform in turnout, and the losing side doesn't show up.

A lot of the continuation of bad polling could simply be media polling trying to keep the last factor to a minimum in early voting which is crucial for Dems. Big cheating in urban areas is not enough in most areas to carry the state and big cheat gets flabby in deep blue states over the years as why bother.

Hard to put that type of operation up overnight.

Grocery store security guard shot by shoplifter in San Francisco tinyurl.com/2p8kvppx

A man who was shot at a San Francisco Safeway on Saturday was a security guard trying to stop a shoplifter, the San Francisco Police Department said on Monday. The victim suffered life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Police were called to the store, located at 4950 Mission Street, just after 6:00 p.m. for the report of a shooting. Officers found the victim and provided aid before he was taken to a hospital.

SFPD said that officers found the suspect trying to flee on a Muni bus. He was arrested and identified as 50-year-old Andre Brown. Brown was booked for robbery, attempted homicide and multiple other felonies. He was also wanted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms for gun charges.

The problem that CT has is that as terrible as Lamont is, compared to NY, NJ, MA, MI, and CA it was a veritable COVID paradise. Yes, there was masking and the schools were messed up (why we pulled our kid out and are homeschooling him), you can eat in restaurants, and the gyms weren't closed for that long - comparitively speaking.

Bob has a steeper hill to climb this time than in 2018, when he lost by only 40K votes in a blueish wave year. He's no Kari Lake, but he's a good guy. There's a shot that Bridgeport is less Dem than expected. If so, Bob and Levy can get in.

If they don't, while it would stink, as long as the Sec'y of State and Attorney General get elected, CT wouldn't be quite as lost as it could be. George Logan (CT-5) really can win, however.

In short, I'm not enthused about our prospects, but not desparing either.

Well crime might be "down." I've been calling that for a while. See when you announce that the police are no longer doing jack shit about anything then people tend not to bother reporting their mugging for $200 that just happened. But what tends to happen is that murder go UP! Because its hard for people and police to not count the bodies with bullet holes lying in the street. You can see this phenomenon happen with Baltimore after that one thug died in the back of a police wagon and there were riots.

188 Quick question -

What happens in this scenario:

Democrats cheat and it's pretty obvious. They hold both the house and the senate.

What now? The courts? What if the 'media' calls races and were right back to 'anyone who denies the election results...blah blah'.

Just feeling like this is going to be the scenario. Big cheat. Big loss. McConnell will be happy with it.

Posted by: AlaBAMA at November 01, 2022 08:04 PM (mZ3xv)

189 Do you follow Jon Ralston, the NV political guru? He updates daily the ballots that have been cast. He tried to be nonpartisan but he is a big Dem.

He says more Dems are voting and Republicans are lagging. I don’t know if Red Voters are holding their fire here in NV until Election Day but there has not been a groundswell of Repub votes cast during early voting.
Posted by: Czech Chick
-------------------
The problem with using early voting is that you assume that Dems vote for Dems and R vote for R. GOP shows up election day, Dems typically don't (2008 to the contrary). If those Dem ballots are ticketsplitting which Ralston has no way of knowing so that you get something like 70-30 pro Dem from Dem registered voters, it cause a wipeout for the Dems. Also doesn't measure indies.

Ralston has been around long enough to have his share of screwups in past elections on his predictions.

The real "Big Big Night" Senate seats would be New Hampshire, Washington, and Colorado. If we find out Connecticut is close early, that's a sign it's going to be a Big Big Night.

If Connecticut isn't that close and NH isn't that close, it's going to be more of a normal Republicans-win-but-not-hugely night.

i don't think there's much hope of the Democrats actually "winning." Their "winning" is now "losing less."

209 I bring this up (the lost bloomberg quote) because this is an example of google hiding things.

I suspect they have an algorithm that correlates negative searches on some topics and buries those results. It would be easy, just associate searches that give results heavily filled with downgraded websites.

So if you have any search where the results lead you to Bannon, or the HQ, or like sites, well those search terms become negated.

Or they could have a secret portal where VIPs enter terms they want suppressed.

231 RCP did have 225 hard GOP with 37 tossups last week. Tossups usually break about 2 to 1 for the challenging team. That would be about 24 additional GOP seats to 249 or so. Dunno what is on this week as a wave election will start reaching rarely polled deep blue districts.

I think the hardest hit will be the remaining white males and some of the white female pols in the House. Ditto in the Senate. I guess Hakim Jeffries may become minority leader in the House if Clyburn and Hoyer decide not to challenge the new up and comer.

"They" were "caught" last time. Absolutely nothing happened. A federal judge refused to entertain the objections to the histrionic illegality and shenanigans at the counting center. Case closed - and one rarely even hears mention of it in reviews of the 2020 likely fraud highlights.

And don't forget that in the weeks before the election, it became a Twitter-sport to photo/video the piles of ballots stacked on public trash cans, littering the mail areas of apartment complexes, etc. Ridiculous. And again the local TV guy had 5 of 7 fraudulent ballots counted in a test of the system.

I'm fairly confident that nobody has the slightest idea how much fraud could be committed in Clark, and whether it would suffice to affect the outcome.

268 whig some of us called "Dogchow Jack" - as Danfort was called by some - "Spot" for the white spot in his otherwise dark hair of the time. He avoided being incredibly cringingly sanctimonious only by remaining pretty timid and reserved in his manner and his voting.

And out of office he morphed into a standard-issue Beltway GOP POS, spectacularly wrong about everything.

Only redeeming feature was his spectacular bad-faith move to end voting on an amendment to the State Dept. Authorization bill one year, so he could catch his private plane to St. Louis to watch the Cards in a World Series game.

As mentioned before, an eight hour presentation late in the day in a Georgia Senate cmte hearing at the end of December indicated what happened. The fake ballots were to hide the jiggery pokery of electronic ballots along with excessive adjudication of ballots where essentially the pollworkers changed ballots and shredded the old ones. The key tip is the whole truck of shredded ballots that the FBI stopped the state from taking control of. My guess are indications that those ballots were by and large fakes that were photocopies inserted to support the electronic features. On election night, you could see the insertions in urban districts where early reports of the number of absentee ballots outstanding suddenly became off by a factor of at least 100 k in GA alone.

Dave, I know personally one of the election officials in a county that saw with her own two eyes that a huge number of votes were being put into adjudication function. Normal is about 1-2 percent but adjudication was running much higher than that. In adjudication function of the software, you can literally as a pollworker with access, change a ballot entirely, print a new one, and shred the old. Then run the ballot through the tabulator as if it is original. The original scans were supposed to be logged, they weren't and so on. It was one of the most multifaceted fraudulent elections that I have ever witnessed and I came of age in Arkansas during the Clinton era.

I think there's something to that. Clearly the mass mail in voting was full of fraud which is why even Jimmy Carter warned against it years ago.

But I there was more than that. I think they employed a lot of different techniques in different areas. The fact that they flat out refused to let anyone inspect many of the machines and it turned out there were missing drives and modems which were illegal in the first place and we were told the machines were not connected when they obviously were does not fill me with confidence. And the people were authorized to inspect the machines prior to the election worked for the same companies that made the machines. That's some Grade A oversight.

And nobody to this day has ever explained how Trump started losing tabulated votes. That's impossible unless they were playing with the data after the fact.

>>I don't know if that was Dominion or some other computer process but it wasn't ballots. There was some level of electronic cheating as well.

The Cheat was accomplished via numerous and sundry methods, some of it was direct algorithmic manipulation, some of it was via adjudication of tabulated votes as well as votes dumps from USB drives, some of it was them simply jamming as much bullsh*t paper through the machines as possible and using their control of the process, levers of power and courts to beat back any challenge.

As has been noted, the farther we get from an all in-person election day and move towards an election season model of voting, no vote will ever be certain or secure.

Posted by: Thomas Bender at November 01, 2022 08:49 PM (up/3i)

338 Oh and Dave in Fla. Another fun fact is that in many states, like WI, the Dems had real time access to voting history and voter registration files on the ground in places like Green Bay/Brown county for example. That allows you to activate a voter registration, let someone cast a ballot in that voter's name, and then remove that voter from the rolls.

That is why the Dems kick so much about cleaning the voter rolls--this is the old floater scheme where non-existent voters are registered to vacant lots, abandoned houses, etc. in huge numbers and ballots are requested to be mailed to them. The ballots are cast and voila, they return to nothingness again to await the next election to be recreated. These are registrations where no actual living voter exists.

And I get the adjudicated thing but those votes never should have been awarded to a candidate in the first place since they were in dispute.

The whole thing was a coordinated scam. Something else nobody has ever explained, how did the vote counting stop at virtually the same time in the 6 swing states that flipped the election with Trump ahead by seemingly insurmountable totals and then the next morning Biden magically and basically statistically impossibly pulled ahead.

347 Supreme Court Blocks Congress From Getting Trump’s Tax Returns

The U.S. Supreme Court on Nov. 1 blocked Congress from obtaining former President Donald Trump’s tax returns.

Chief Justice John Roberts, a George W. Bush appointee, stayed an appeals court order that had ruled a congressional panel could gain access to the documents.

Trump filed an emergency application on Monday to the Supreme Court, asking it to halt the order.

Roberts’ stay is temporary, pending further developments in the case.

If it lasts until January, it will be long enough.

And unless prevented this time - why couldn't it happen again? 55K - do we have any idea what the cheat was in 2020?

But Antrim County, MI - a case I never saw resolved (large, material switching of votes between candidates by the system, or someone messing with it). JackStraw's noted *declining* Trump vote totals. Coffee County GA (?) - the 105 (?) clearly reproduced, identical ballots. 391 whig it is certainly on me, but I have never figured out the "so what" of the Maricopa audit - though it seems up to 57K ballots were found that could not be connected to any voters. Like I said, have never really understood the bottom line there.

And let's not forget Matt Braynard, working literally by himself on this laptop using public information (and later with a small team), found more dead/underage/out-of-state voters, in both NV and GA I think, than the margin of official victory in those states.

JackStraw the one thing that most puzzles me about it all is that unbelievable 6-state "pause" in counting. It's just too ridiculous to be coincidence (I believe such pauses were literally unprecedented in modern times). But, but - it's also nearly impossible to believe that coordination on this scale would not be detected, or leaked, at some point. A literally stolen US presidential election? Definitely plausible. Keeping all of that under wraps? Far less plausible.

399 And I get the adjudicated thing but those votes never should have been awarded to a candidate in the first place since they were in dispute.

Posted by: JackStraw
-------------------------
Adjudication is used when the ballot is flawed in some way. There is a lot of jurisdictions where the actual printing of the ballots is askew which triggers the error when ran through the tabulator. In a secure system roughly 1-3 percent is expected, key poll worker administrators have to log in with personal login in codes for verification, and the past as well as the new ballot image which were captured by the tabulator are saved to check that the adjudicated ballot is then provided to the tabulator and the other ballot generating errors is spoiled and shredded. The spoiled and shredding happened to original ballots but only the new ballot image (if even that) was save instead of both images so you cannot then go back and compare what was the original ballot as it literally no longer exists. Most of the counties had one login code so any person with the password and access to the Election Suite software on the server could 'improve' a ballot with no trail to find out who did it.

I'll out myself to a small extent. Years ago, I coauthored a published work that dealt with voter fraud that has been cited in court cases plus being in Dem politics in Arkansas during the era of Clinton as gov have a fair working knowledge of how steals are conducted.

I am also a keen reader of various city/county/state machine political histories. Using voter registration--the key is floating non existent voters (that is where real time control over voter registration lists can add people and then make them vanish leaving only a ballot behind), moved voters to other jurisdictions out of state, dead voters but that is more risky outside urban areas, and ballot harvesting operations where people are paid to collect ballots--unfavorable ones vanish, some are 'corrected' which is where the ones with no postmark come in, and some pass on part of their payment to others. Then, there is outright stuffing the boxes with fakes to make the other side prove it and to match any electronic changes.

Posted by: rhomboid at November 01, 2022 09:09 PM (OTzUX)

Why is it impossible to believe? The consensus seems to be that the commies had planned for some cheating but were overwhelmed by just how badly Trump was stomping Spongebrain. So, somebody in one state calls his buddy in another, and it snowballs. They didn't plan in *advance* but they were absolutely not willing to lose to OrangeManBad. And they *did* tell us about the overall cheating afterwards, bragging about all the things they had done to "fortify" the election. And they've continued to gaslight the fck out of everyone by shrieking if anyone even mentions the slightest bit of doubt about what we saw with our own eyes.

In the last few years LA County I believe, as part of a consent decree, agreed to purge 100s of thousands of names on the voter registry. An enormous number.

Which any reasonable observer will see, and instantly conclude that the election system there is complete garbage, and its results cannot be received with any confidence.

There has been some polling showing an encouraging (and shocking) % of people worried about election process integrity. But translation into action?

If the hundreds of millions of backwards Americans switched to metric time, like I did, they wouldn't need to re-learn how to set the time on their clock radios twice a year!

Didn't ask. Unpleasant subject. Unlike a surprising lot of my friends, I had 2 good parents (despite some stupid decisions here and there). The worst punishment my father ever meted out on me was making me feel awful for letting him down. (That's how good Jewish fathers roll.)

no thanks to Prussia for hindering Venetian unification?

And they still have the Jay6ers in prison for "crimes" that would make the BLM arsonists laugh their asses off. I think Americans have figured out that "election denial" can destroy your life like the mandates did. The press won't cover it and ridicule and criminalize dissent. IT's very credible, and when you couple it with the fac that a good chunk of the GOP were part of the game and would be outed for participation, it becomes easy to understand. We saw windows being boarded up, Zuck claiming he "fortified" the election (by providing ballots for donks) and some of us watched in absolute shock as Trump tallies went down and Biden's went up.

Back in the days when boomers had "blue" crews and "gold" crews that alternated 3-month cruises (they may still), it was said that you could either be there for the birth or be there for the conception.
