[T]he premiere of Wallace's new show on Sunday was a bomb, with only 401,000 viewers in the time slot and only 43,000 in the critical 25-54 age demographic. By contrast, Trey Gowdy had more than three times that on Fox with his Sunday show, with 1.3 million, and 78 thousand in that key demo.RadarOnline says the ratings were "down" by double-digits -- I assume they mean from whatever ratings basement-dweller was previously airing in that timeslot.
To make matters worse, the program was down double digits across every category versus the 2022 average, according to early date from Nielsen Media Research.So the show premiered, with much advertising and fanfare, and immediately drew fewer viewers than whatever POS filler show had been in that slot, which was consider so poor they thought that Chris Wallace would be an improvement over it. Nope! His contract with CNN is worth $6 million per year. I mean, it's worth that to him. It's worth 8 buck fitty cen' to CNN. I'm pretty sure that right now David Zaslav is looking for ways he can "Batgirl" the contract. Meanwhile: She-Hulk has so few viewers that the show can afford deliver personalized insults to its critics, one at a time.

Viewership matters. That's it. Money talks. Viewers are subscribers. Subscribers are money. Are you bringing more subscribers (money) in thanks to your show? Is your show helping the platform retain subscribers (money)? If so, then you're good. If not, then you're in trouble. The critics as such are irrelevant to that particular reality.

I have a very prominent do not ring this doorbell sign posted right by my front door because we get dozens of walk by solicitors every week in our neighborhood. I put it up because we have the biggest house around and they gravitate to us.
Just had a frontier cable company team walk up and ring my door bell and the dogs went ape$hit as normal. Walked out and asked them what they wanted and the guy said they were in my neighborhood letting everyone know they upgraded their service. I asked if he saw the sign that I was pointing to and he said yes he did. I asked why he rang the bell after reading the sign. He stood there and looked dumbstruck and then finally said "my bad" after I asked him again why he rang the bell after he read the sign. Stupid should hurt.

A lot of streaming services bundle stuff for "free" on them to attract people, usually for a few months. Tons of products like smart phones come with a month of free Disney+, as well. And then there are the people who watch other people's accounts like the Zoomers and Millennials living at home.
wonder with how with so many lousy movies out now, people who are older are turning back to films from the 30's, 40's and 40's and getting their kids and grandkids (if old enough) interested in them.
Its like pulling teeth to get young people to watch black and white movies.

Yeah they put out a image of She-Hulk's legs with "Sorry Incels" in the She-Hulk font. And the usual Youtubers were ripping it. Like Ryan Kinel, except his video pointed out that the image was from a fan account. And then the twitter losers tried to call him dumb for not knowing it was a fan account. So he clipped the part of his video calling it a fan account proving they don't listen to the videos the criticize and rage about.

PINO Joe Biden is once again imploring gas stations to lower prices. During a meeting with economic aides on this week, Biden acknowledged that while the price of crude is falling, Americans aren’t feeling relief at the pump.

It might. Back in the weird old days of Cartoon Network, when they had the old Hanna Barbera catalogue, they made a show called "Space Ghost Coast to Coast" wherein Space Ghost would interview C-list celebrities and the effort was assisted or thwarted by other Space Ghost characters.
It was thoroughly bizarre and oddly entertaining.

There will be a box mounted on the exterior wall, and they'll drill a hole (behind the box) to run a line to the fibre transceiver inside the house. From there, its Cat 6 to the modem/firewall/wifi box.
All that done you can use the wifi provided by the modem and/or hook it into your wired network, using the internal IP address as your gateway.
They stuck my transceiver in one of the bedrooms, which I wasn't happy about, and ran the Cat 6 into my "great" room, where I simply stuck the modem into the A/V cabinet.
I recommend it, ugly transceiver and all. Much more stable and (obviously) way faster than DSL or cable.

Yeah I watched that. He points out several great features of the truck: its really fast, it can haul a freight train, etc.
But as I have pointed out in the past, while MPG ratings are lies, they are more consistently accurate than rang claims. And while you lose mileage with cargo and passengers, you lose WAY MORE range from that in an EV.
In other words, as he says, the Lightning is fine for most people who buy pickups but only use them to drive short runs rather than haul freight. But they are crappy work trucks.
The followup video is even more significant: the guts of that motor are exposed to the elements underneath and its highly unlikely that having water, mud etc on it is going to be tolerated as well as a gas powered truck would.

The Woman King has a 99% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Lots of fake 5 star reviews. I think they assumed the people they always accuse of fake review bombing trash woke stuff with 1 star reviews were going to go after that movie as well so they went to counter it. They kept the Soviet labs running to soak up the Soviet bioweapon techs that might "otherwise go to Iran" and then I suppose they kept grafting money off. I suspect any good development went to universities like in NC or other related places, and then to Wuhan when it got out that we were violating serious treaties by dabbling in bioweapons
Second rumor is that there were intentional releases of product into Russian majority areas to test them.
