I saw Siam open for Storm Over Thailand. It was an interesting show:
"Field Marshal Phibunsongkhram, who was majorly behind the rise of fascism in the country at the time, came up with official orders and mandates that changed the country’s name from Siam to Thailand. The name was officially changed from Siam to Thailand on June 24, 1939. The country was known as Thailand from 1939 to 1946 when the name was again changed back to Siam. It remained as Siam from 1946 to 1948. In 1948, the country was again renamed Thailand and the name has remained the same to date." Friend of mine has a dairy sheep herd selling dairy product to high end restaurants and retail food stores. Coyotes were killing ewes fairly often so he got a year old Anatolian Shepherd. He asked me about training it but I did some research on the breed. This dog didn’t protect the sheep at all and the slaughter continued. Turns out the dog must bond with the flock as a puppy…he got a puppy eventually.

My next dog is going to be an Anatolian shepherd. Marcus Barkus Rufus Dufus O'Malley passed several weeks ago and I can't bring myself to looking yet. We have a buffet of predators out here. Cougars, coyotes and now we get to add wolves to that list. Neighbor up the hill caught a state fish and feathers biologist on his timber property this summer . Biologist told him he was studying the effects of wolf and cougar predation on the deer and elk populations. He admitted that they identified 14 wolves who hunted in the area but they are not considered a pack. Neighbor informed him that the wolves have been in the area for at least 6 years and every time a sighting had been reported they were told that they were mistaken. He finished the conversation by telling the gentleman that he was trespassing and get the hell off of his property.

Yes. It was pretty bad. I testified twice before the County Commissioners, who agreed with me that rural Kansas did not need masks. But the Educational establishment (esp. KSU) , the local paper, and Anti-Fa went all out to get rid of my based, common sense Commissioner friend, and he lost his reelection. Masks for all then. The good news is masks are very rare now. Andycanuck and BurtTC, I just gave the Wall Street Journal a piece of my mind and if my temper could stand it, I'd go reply to some of the ridiculous comments. That article is disgraceful but the WSJ news reporters aren't any less biased left than reporters for every other major newspaper. Doing national polls on matters that belong to the states is a completely waste of space and time and it would be nice if people who get called by pollsters would tell the pollsters to bugger off when they do that.
