Good News: Red Wave in Florida Sweeps Leftist School Boards Out of Power

School boards in Miami Dade, Duval, Sarasota, Martin, and Clay Counties have all flipped from majority liberal to majority conservative tonight.
Of the 30 candidates endorsed by DeSantis, 25 won their races. A few boards had the potential to flip from liberal to conservative, and flip they did. Sarasota County flipped their school board from a 3-2 liberal majority to a 4-1 conservative majority. The Miami Dade school board also flipped their majority from liberal to conservative, making them the largest county in America to boast a conservative school board.Kyra Davis says this may be a harbinger for other school board races on the ballot in November, and I sure hope so, but... this doesn't just happen. It takes work. It also takes a push from political leaders, especially at the governor level. Are other GOP governors pushing this issue? A lot of them seem pretty embarrassed by actual conservatives and would rather liberals just held on to power in every office.

I think we are talking about polls months ahead of the election. The polls on election day are usually fairly accurate. But that's only because in the days leading to the election all the fake polls who have been shilling for Dumocraps for a year now suddenly start reporting "real" results. So they can say "hey, we were only off by this small percentage!" They ignore the wildly inaccurate pro-Democrap push-polls they pimped for a year up until a week before the election.

Several are following well. Abbott has gotten a bit better. Bill Lee in Tennessee is doing okay. They and others can move the ball with an adequate trail to follow. DeSantis is the trailbl@zer, and it has some downstream effects on competent if not visionary men elsewhere.

There is. The Superintendent of our rural Prescott Unified School District is a straight-up Lefty despite being very personable (am friends with his mother-in-law and have met him on a few social occasions).
There's a guy running here for school board because his son brought home stories of the radical CRT crap being taught in class -- where the students were expressly told not to inform their parents -- but his son recorded it.
When confronted, the teacher and school denied the accusations, at which point the father played the recording for them.

People want to put DeSantis in that upper echelon because he makes the right noises and does so many of the right things.
But with higher office aspirations in front of him, anyone smart or crafty enough WILL do those things.

Catio is a great start. I'll write what I have done to keep my cats out of trouble on the pet thread. Some things may not be feasible with the dogs being able to get to the cat toys. Having the cat play with the dogs probably burns off some energy.
One thing is you playing with the cat for 15-20 minutes twice a day, it's really never enough though.

Virtually all media coverage of campaigns,including of the Conservative TM news media like Breitbart, etc. is shit. Wait until maybe late September or October to actually pay attention.
Right now, I bet that less than 50 percent of actual PA voters know who Fetterman is or what he looks like. Over time, the deluge of adverts, flyers, etc. and news coverage will inform a certain percentage of these. Some will vote mainly off the D label, some will not vote, and some fraudulent votes will occur. Oz has probably a bit more recognition of who he is and what he looks like. So he is spending time retail campaigning which Fetterman apparently can't do. We should see results of this by late Sept., early Oct.
