Superior threat identification and gun handling.

By the way, I always feel I have to say "This may be fake" to cover myself. I mean, virtually any video may be fake. I'm going to stop saying that, mostly. These are supposed to be funny and their veracity isn't super-important. Plus I think if often spoils the humor of a video when I immediately add a comment questioning its authenticity.

So a lot of the videos in the cafe may or may not be fake but whatever, it's the Cafe, it's not the news.

Abandoned bunny from an "accidental litter" is adopted by loving family.

Terrified cat abandoned in a "dumping ground" hides from her foster mom for an entire year, but finally some simple advice from a "cat whisperer" starts breaking the ice.

Is this something? Video, set to Muzak, of a supermarket in the 70s. It looks mostly like a modern supermarket, except on close inspection -- shape of milk and juice bottles, the purely mechanical cash registers, stuff like that. They don't show close ups of the food packaging, which would show the era more.

Mid-late 60s TV Western intros. Stars with Wild Wild West, the color version.

Wow, General Mills actually attempted "rebooting" Kaboom cereal in the 1980s. They must really hate children. Although, seriously, at least they seem to have tried a little bit this time around. So... nice job trying to sell the 40 cents of dense sugar and carbs for three buck.

Happy dog prance.

7 That ship in the sea: point at the wave and rid it, or you're dead. Those waves are, get this, SMALL compard to the ones around the southern capes. Reliable descriptions of 90 foot and higher waves over and over in going around Cape Horn and Cape of Good Hope.

Basically the waves got so tall that when a ship was in the trough between them it got no wind and had to rely on momentum to keep going and ride the waves out.

When they made Master and Commander Peter Weir had a crew go down and film actual waves at the cape and they came back saying "we can't use this, because nobody will believe its real."

My cabin was below the main decks, with one porthole. Normally it would be 5 or 6 feet above the waterline.

We're moved into the RV. Mama and babies are settled. We have the air conditioners in the kennel running off the 7500 watt generator and the fridge in the house running on the 3500 watt generator, though my guess is that the 1200 watt one would suffice. If necessary we can slave off a neighbor's faucet for water.

Everyone who needed to be called has been called. An electrician and a plumber are scheduled to come out tomorrow morning. So we've done everything we can do.

30 Green water in the sky.

A couple of decades ago a tornado went through the town of cape Canaveral, just north of Cocoa Beach and sucked up all the dyed blue water at a mini golf place. Folks said the tornado turned blue for a little while.

A couple of years later another tornado ripped of the roof of a strip club right across the street at night while it was open. Quite a few joke lines came out of that.

Most tornadoes in Florida are pretty mild. But they also seem to have a sense of humor.

Closed is when the glass is in place in the round hole.

Secured is when the steel protective cover is swung shut over the glass covered opening, and bolted into place to form a steel, watertight cover on the inside of the hull opening.

A long time ago when I lived in the haunted farm house, I came home one evening during a thunderstorm to find a fire blazing in the middle of the dining room floor. Lightning had punched a hole in a gas line under the house by arcing over from a power line laying across it and the jet burned thru the floor like a torch. I ran outside and turned off the gas and got the fire put out, but if I had been 5 minutes later it would have been too late.

Wow, what a blast from the past. More than half of them I'd never heard of or seen -- but I sure enjoyed the ones I watched. And young Barbara Hershey in something called The Monroes ... yummy! She also showed up during the 70's in a couple of Kung Fu episodes (where they hilariously tried to first pass her off as a young man, and then as half-Chinese like they did with David Carradine).

They all looked like they were in color, so probably why The Rifleman, Wanted Dead or Alive, and Have Gun Will Travel (before my time, but I saw in reruns later as a kid) weren't included as they began in the late 50's and IIRC were primarily black-and-white.

85 The other reason I think it was closer than 40 yards is guy knew what he was doing and 40 yards is a dangerous distance with people in front of him. I know they were in front of him because as he closed he was waving people to get behind him.

One thing that I learned is the kittens will stay in the hiding spot mamma provides for them and will not wander...Another is the cats hunt mice not different that a lion hunts it's prey. Maybe Ms. Sat whisperer found a mouser? I think this because the kitty was in excellent condition and even clean white fur. Did she find the kitty where it was not lost? Hmmm

460 We're moved into the RV.
