Sidewalks, and essentially all infrastructure repairs and upgrades need a sponsor in the power structure. Public Works repairs what they are told ot fix, not the worst areas. This is a truism.

Get the City Commissioner to green light it. Using a petition of neighbors shows you are organized, serious, and have concerned voters behind it.

218 I missed last night's movie thread cuz we were watching the end of this season's "Stranger Things".

It was okay. But, the series is getting way too "top heavy" by constantly introducing new quirky "lovable" characters and giving them their own dollop of screen time.

I did appreciate them killing off 1.5 characters this season(you'll understand if you watch). But, if the Big Bad is really after El and those around her. They need to start pruning (killing off) characters cuz "the destruction of Hawkings" ain't the audience involving threat they think its is.

To be perfectly honest, I find myself avoiding any movie that might look semi-interesting if it was made within the last few years. I simply don't want to choke on woke. Which is all they are, with very few shining exceptions (Top Gun Maverick). I'm utterly bored with it, sick of it, and want no part of watching that dreck any more. I was visiting my mother in north Scottsdale one time around Halloween, people had pumpkins out for decorations, and some neighbors thought there were some malevolent teens in the neighborhood smashing the pumpkins and making a mess of things. I woke up and went for a walk early in the morning, just after sunup, and was shocked to come around a corner and see 2 javelina's up on a neighbors porch, gorging themselves on a pumpkin. Just got the lowdown on what happened. Hydrogen plant next door was flaring off quite a bit last night. Last few days even driving by it my 4 gas monitor I wear was going off. Reported it twice. Last night O2 levels were low enough and hydrogen was present which can make things go boom so they shutdown nightshift and sent them home. Just have to wait and see what the word is at the morning meeting.👍
